Grabbed it on audio and a print copy at work today, so I'm good to go. And yeah, it's not a lengthy looking read.

Finished the first Jack Reacher book. I feel like I'll probably end up reading the series. The character interests me and I generally enjoyed the writing.
I'll probably start Skyjack, which is about D.B. Cooper, next...

I've never been to New York City. Will be in and around museum mile this weekend. Best spots to eat on the cheap? Don't necessarily care if it's touristy, but I'd likely avoid chain places. Or do I want to hit up food carts/trucks because I have nothing like that around here?
-
Yeah, I'd be in once again.

Finished up ACIII. Despite all I'd heard and read, I thought it was a good game. Probably the weakest in the franchise overall, but I don't get the flack it takes.
Rented IV from Redbox and yep...I'll be buying it at some point in the near future. First few hours are a blast.

Man, we used to take this shit so seriously. Maybe we still do. I mostly just lurk these days, whereas I was firmly entrenched in all this bullshit from back in the day.

Next episode will be Mr. Nanny, I believe. The NHB ep was fantastic.

Been rediscovering Tajiri. I don't know that I generally think of of him as an all time favorite for me, but there are few guys who I'm more excited to see pop up. Could watch him and Crazy all day, even if none of it is new to me.

The newest Hardcore TV ep that's up (#61) is the first ECW I ever saw and the first tape I ever bought back in the day. The nostalgia trip is off the charts. And shit, does it ever look better than the muddy 3rd gen VHS copy did. Heh.
Still really like the Sabu/Scorpio match, too. They had better, but I think this is the first.

I was thinking Mercs 2 for the 360 as well. So broken. So fun.

360 app still isn't showing content even after following the directions in the email. Of course, I'd tried that before with no success, so I was aware it didn't work, but...yeah. Frustrating.

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness.
One of the most accurate takes on the fear of impending loss, watching a parent struggle with a terminal disease and the rage, fear, and isolation that I've ever encountered. Hit super close to home for me. I've been this character and I've lived his story.
Fairly predictable as such things go, but still...this could be an important book to some people going through rough times...

360 app is still borked for me. Fiddled with the parental settings, deleted/reinstalled...still have limited content.
Works great on the PS3, though. Luckily, when I actually have time to watch, that's the console in front of me. The 360 lives at my girlfriend's house.
Seems to be good on my kindle as well.

Watching an episode of hardcore TV. There's one of those cheesy "sexy" videos they'd bust out from time to time. Peaches is the focus. In much of the vid, she's posing in front of a Geo Tracker. Dunno why, but I thought it was hilarious.
The Sabu/Pat Tanaka match from the same show is pretty fun.

Bunkhouse Stampede
I've never seen it, somehow. Disappointed by Eaton/Koloff. Enjoyed Zbyszko/Windham and Hawk/Flair.
Caudle reading the credits while they set up the cage is amusing for some reason. Stampede is about to start...
This is definitely a better show than I'd heard over the years. Some shitty finishes, I guess, but I'm enjoying it a lot.

Anyone here familiar with UWE out of Harrisburg, PA? Their next show in on the 15th, with AJ Styles vs AR Fox. Nash and Sonjay Dutt are also on the show.
I've never seen Styles, so I'm thinking of heading out. Just not familiar with any of the regulars to know what to expect...

Instead of Fallout 3, I ended up pumping a bunch if time into Assassin's Creed 3 instead. Had started it when it first came out and didn't care for it that much. Restarted it last weekend and, for whatever reason, this time it clicked with me. Not as good as any of the Ezio games and the only time I'll see Desmond is when the game forces me to, but the actual action is as good as ever.
Combat makes you feel so damn powerful. I can wade into a fort filled with enemies and walk away having taken zero damage. It never gets old.

I've got an itch to play Fallout 3. I still haven't finished all of the DLC, so my weekend might be spent doing that

Man...every time someone mentions Ninja Five-0, an angel gets its wings. Fantastic game that not nearly enough people played.

Anyone still playing Spelunky on Steam? Love doing the daily challenge, but none of my Steam friends are playing it so I have no one to compare my runs to!
Great game. Except for when it's being an asshole and then fuck Spelunky...

Take the KOTOR / Dragon Age: Origins / Star Ocean style freeform combat engine and put it in a Skies of Arcadia sequel.
Turn based RPG combat is forever dead to me.
Humorously, I knew I wouldn't be the first to suggest some sort of Skies sequel here. I also knew it was likely to be you who did. Just a matter of who saw this first.

Another day, another storm, another personal day burnt.
Stay safe out there to anyone who is dealing with whatever winter weather your area is blessing you with...
Edit: We must be getting hammered here in central pa, because work closed already. We almost never close for weather. I'm pretty okay with saving my personal days and still getting paid!

2010 Camry. Hunter Green. After totaling my Honda I had to make a purchase almost immediately and wasn't able to shop around much, but I'm liking it a lot so far.

Should finish listening to it on my way home tomorrow. Enjoying it a lot, but Christ, is Tony ever painfully stupid at times...
