It's bad enough to have to tolerate iffy TV, but having to navigate a sea of scorching hot weirdo takes that insist on elevating "that sucked" to "(whatever the fuck this is)" makes everything so, so much worse.

This is about the 150th thing he’s claimed there’s “no coming back from”.

Now he’ll add a little sad face emoji reaction to this post.

He’s as predictable as he is annoying.

Got an almost 15% raise yesterday and we booked a house in Door County for our anniversary next month.  We're spending way too much, but we found a completely handicapped-accessible place that's right on the water and we had to jump at that.

Went to Door County with my wife's family a couple summers ago. I wasn't really all that stoked about going there, but ended up absolutely loving it. It's such a nice area.

  3. I don’t think I’d ever heard Cody’s full song until tonight. Holy shit is it bad. I’m shocked at how over he is. He’s just such a dork, but hey, it’s working for him.

That main was big and dumb, but it was well-done big and dumb.

And you know, I think that’s bullshit and don’t respect that he hooded back up. He made the decision, he lives with it.

I kind of wonder if Rey didn’t have much of a choice. I doubt him losing it in WCW was handled like it is in Mexico with a bigger payday, etc. He probably showed up to the building that day and found out he was booked to lose it.

Since when have luchadors who dropped famous mask matches been allowed to re-mask? I guess another little grain of integrity in wrestling has been swept into the dustpan of history.

They can do something like petition the commission to be allowed to wear a lost mask for a special occasion. Apparently, Panther petitioned and had it granted for this match.

  6. The fact that, on any given week, we may get a Danielson dream match out of nowhere is my current favorite thing.

I'm surprised at how into Copeland I am. I wasn't really all that excited about his signing. We was (along with Cena and Orton) always "WWE personified" to me, and I wasn't looking forward to that on my AEW shows. He's been awesome, though, and I look forward to seeing his stuff with HoB.

Overall, I'd say AEW is in a transition period. As others have mentioned, there's been a recent influx of new/elevated talent. The good thing, for me, is that I'm pretty excited to see where it all goes. After Dynasty, I think we'll have a little clearer view of what's down the road.

I have some news. There's Peer Support Training at The Cellar Trust but the price was too much. A few weeks ago I got a call about this but I said the price was an issue, well it's currently free for me paid by the Hope team. It's an intensive course which I finished today. I'm now a Peer Support Worker which means I'll be helping those with mental health issues as The Cellar Trust is a mental health charity. I rarely give myself credit/a pat on the back but will here.

That’s awesome! If you’re half as considerate and kind in real life as you are here, then I have no doubt you’ll be amazing at that.

  8. Haven't seen Godzilla X Kong yet, but I've heard about a scene, and I have to know if it's true:

    Spoiler

I heard there was a scene where Godzilla and Kong have a misunderstanding, but Mothra talks to Godzilla and straightens it out. Like, Mothra stands there and makes Mothra sounds and they cut to Godzilla being all, "oh, right" (but with Godzilla sounds, of course) and then Godzilla is convinced and all is well between he and Kong. Please tell me this is true.

Elevator to the Gallows (featuring an incredible Miles Davis score)

Ha! I have owned that soundtrack and listened to it a ton and never bothered to 1. see what the title translated to or 2. learn anything about the movie itself.

It's great "late night" jazz, IMO.

  10. I volunteered to help coach my son's flag football team. Well, it was really one of those things where they asked, I said yes, and as the word was coming out of my mouth I instantly regretted it.

Turns out, it's actually really fun! The kids are awesome and, so far, the parents are really nice, too.

We had our first game this past Saturday, and we won! By far the best part, though, was that, after the win, my son ran to me as excited as he's ever been about anything and gave me the biggest hug. Literally tearing up just typing that out.

Oh, and turns out that he's a hell of a football player. Played some QB and scored as a running back. He also blocked really well on another TD and played some strong D. He played every single down on offense and defense. And, yes, while I am coaching, I'm just an assistant and don't make decisions on playing time.

would we wanna know what SGW Uganda would book if MJF showed up there?

EDIT: seriously, Lord White sounds like the name of a Kamala heel manager on an indy because you couldn't suit someone up as a fake Kim Chee

When Kamala was doing territories, was it his responsibility to bring the Kim Chee gear with him everywhere he went?

  12. This morning, I saw a post on Instagram with clips from a British Bulldogs/Gordy and Hanson match. It struck me just how great EVERYTHING Gordy did looked. There's a simple vertical suplex in there that just looks beautiful. I think Gordy is up there with Steamboat and Dustin and Barry Windham as far as guys who just seem like they were born to move around a wrestling ring.
