I wonder if this show was filmed before Cara Maria's tweet about how wrestling divas all dress like strippers. If not, perhaps Punk will have words with her.

Pillman defeated Goldust. Marlena had to stay with Pillman for 30 days because of the lost. Blame the Attitude Era for that different definition of "manservant."
Oh and wouldn't a loser must landscape match be better suited for the Hardys? C'mon, we need a "RAW is Senor Benjamin" thread.

Hey, are you that guy on Wrestling Classics that uses that tag line? If so, I just want to say that I dig the super detailed round by round UFC match write-ups courtesy of CM. Seriously. And hey, that thing with the pointing out whenever an announcers mispronounces fighter names is a nice touch, proof of live viewing and all that jazz.

ROH Top Prospect 2017 champ is crowned. 8 unfamiliar (to the TV audience) faces get a chance to shine. Winner gets jumped by a brand new heel. A potential new corner turned for the show with all the new folks?
What do we get out of all of this?
Short video package and a 6 minute throwaway match.
Oh, and showing a Punishment Martinez vid to try to hype him up as a major badass...the week after showing him getting thumped (and I think cleanly pinned) by a New Japan guy...not a smart move.

Denis Johnson, author of "Tree of Smoke" and other works passed away at the age of 67. From what I have seen this hour, he was at home, and it was a peaceful ending.
I found a copy of "Jesus' Son" once. Read the whole thing straight through in one day. At times brutal, brilliant through and through.
Looks like I'll be rereading it this weekend.
