it's Global Wars Mexico! Fun opening tag from Thunder Rosa & Persephone over Athena & Red Velvet. Fairly short but fast paced and everyone looked good. Thunder vs. Athena is official for Supercard of Honor.
Nick Wayne vs Titan was good stuff as they go the Proving Grounds 10 minute time limit.
Bandido/Dorada, originally from the prior CMLL show last week, was incredible of course. An absolutely epic title match. Afterwards, Takeshita challenges Bandido for Supercard of Honor which should be fantastic.
Next week, Top Flight vs. The Infantry for a tag title shot at Supercard against Dustin & Sammy.
Blue Panther over Lee Moriarty in the main event, earning him a Pure Title match at Supercard. This ruled, great stuff. Panther's ramp dive is the best. After the match, STP attack Panther until Bryan Danielson brings out Dorada, Hologram, & Blue Panther Jr for the save. Danielson lays out Shane Taylor with the knee to a big pop, awesome moment. Big action packed 4 match episode which Riccaboni calls his favorite Honor Club episode.

Another fun trios defense, Top Tier beat everybody. Liked the double sharpshooter finish.
Two favs in Kara Kai vs Scout Parker, nice finish here as well from Kara.
Good main event, actually thought Santana was winning until the end and then it was quickly off the air. I like the Classmaster run continuing.

This was a unique experiment to get to watch next week's Impact live on TNA+ as they taped it. Knockouts battle royal was fun, I figured it would come down to Tessa & Indi and didn't see the ending coming.
Great main event with some nice spots and a solid finishing stretch.
-
MJF did that to Jericho a few years back with the "No Judas" stipulation, loved when the crowd sang it anyway without the music playing.

Happy 23 years of TNA. The main event was the easy highlight of this episode, pretty fun 10 man tag. Liked the Tessa/Indi backstage segment, has me interested in a future match between them.
-
Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty open with a fun 2 minute squash beating. Deonna Purrazzo looks great destroying Marti Belle in Pure Rules. And then Lance Archer kills Aaron Solo the quickest in under 2 minutes.
Miyu Yamashita is always one of the best. Killer finish as she wipes out Brooke Havok in short order. Top Flight & The Kingdom over the Infantry & GYV is a solid random main event. Very short episode coming in under 40 minutes.

The previous All In events were both 9 match main cards, so 7 isn't *too* far off. Then just gotta add 2 or 3 preshow matches as well, which last year is where they did more of the 'try to book everyone' with a 16 man tag and 10 man tag compared to 2023.
-
We got ME MUERO! Been wanting that ever since Mistico's first AEW appearance and this was absolutely perfect. Epic entrance and adds so much to his star presentation. Had me hoping he'd just go over instead of a DQ here. Definitely a highlight of the night. Awesome crowd/atmosphere for sure.
Hangman's promo in Spanish ruled and I popped for Excalibur delivering his opening line with "it's Miercoles!" Lots of fun action all the way through. Dug the out of nowhere finish to Mercedes/Zeuxis.

Nice Tormenta showcase in the opener, figured Sanchez was likely to be near squashed here.
Brat Pack vs. Kalaki & Tiki was really fun, thought Gigi in particular shined big here, hitting all her signature moves and getting the win.
Fury/Sandy felt random but thought Sandy might pull out the win the way they hyped her up a bit on commentary.
Great main event tag and effective finish to further build things and put more sympathy on Miami's Sweet Heat.

I think Toni/Mercedes is still a tossup that could go either way, but at this point I'd rather Mercedes lose the title to anyone but the same old Statlander again or Willow for that matter. Give me something new and different when it comes time for it.

3 hours ago, The Green Meanie said:
I don't think Diamante and Kiera Hogan ever interacted on TV.They had a feud in ROH early last year where there were subtle references, Kiera cut a promo calling out Diamante saying she'd "see her in the ring or at home"
1 hour ago, Zimbra said:They did a whole angle with Jericho/Cole/Baker and I want to say the Outcasts? But that is definitely better left forgotten
Correct they did a Cole/Britt vs Jericho/Saraya mixed tag a couple years ago. The year before they also ran Cole/Britt vs. Statlander/Orange.

Good to see the IInspiration officially back in the ring. the 8-4-1 match was pretty fun while it lasted. Enjoyed the chaotic brawl to end the show. Next week's Impact marks 23 years since the first TNA event.

A nice lucha tag victory for Atlantis Jr. & Templario. Preston Vance defeats Evil Uno and then we get a John Silver return to set up a future Dark Order vs Frat House trios tag.
Quick squash from Red Velvet, always good. And then an 8 man squash from Shane Taylor Promotions. Bandido beats Mansoor in a fun little main event. Blake Christian & Lee Johnson attack until Mascara Dorada makes the save to hype up next week's shows in Mexico.

Ospreay/Swerve ruled as expected. The draw was the logical finish, though I wasn't thinking of it until of course the commentary started talking up the remaining time.
Mistico/MJF setup was fun. Still can't stand stokely and don't feel he adds anything to FTR's act. Good to see the Workhorsemen back.
Pretty great build up for Okada/Omega all around with the history video and later attack.
Really loved Thekla/Aminata, that was my favorite match of the night after Ospreay/Swerve and thought both looked awesome there.
It was a fun 2 weeks of 4 hour mega events. Next week we get a 2 hour & 30 minute special.

Genesis/Aussie ruled and I love seeing Genesis pick up a bigger victory. Animal Instinct vs Chantilly/Roxxy was a pretty fun tag.
Xena Phoenix: The Albanian Grappler vs. "Vicious" Veronica VaRoom went pretty much exactly like their previous debut match. I enjoyed it as a fan of both characters, but would like to see more of VaRoom.
Miami Sweet Heat continue to be be the best, heel or face, definitely hyped for their latest upcoming title challenge. Pretty solid main event from Santana and Reina.

*Santino Marella opened the show with a promo about being Director of Authority again. Santino announced Leon Slater will challenge Moose for the X Division Title at Slammiversary, next week will feature a champions vs all stars 10 man tag, and tonight would be the return of the 8-4-1 match for the knockouts division. *The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessie McKay) def. Brittnie Brooks & Missa Kate (5:05) when Jessie pinned Missa after the Idolizer.

Francis introduces TNA Worlds Champ Trick Williams as the greatest TNA Champion of all time. AJ says they need gold to go with Trick's TNA title and that a win over the Hardys tonight should make them #1 contenders. They toast to Trick reigning forever.
*Leon Slater def. Jason Hotch (w/ John Skyler) (7:38) with the Swanton 450.
*Jody Threat, Indi Hartwell, Tasha Steelz, & Killer Kelly def. The System (Moose, JDC, Brian Myers, & Eddie Edwards w/ Alisha) come down to brawl followed by Leon Slater & The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) to help the babyfaces clear the ring.
-
Women's MITB was my fav, having a lot of my favorite talents in there helped. Men's MITB was fine, but just eye rolling when the interference took over and then they went the dull predictable route with it too.
Knowing Becky was winning since Lyra wouldn't win twice in a row was taking me out of the first half of their match, but ended up liking it a lot by the end. Actually enjoyed the double countout tease.
Fun surprise return for Truth, didn't see that coming. Triple H laughing off the Truth stuff as "All part of the show! enjoy the show" is hilarious
