Speaking of Tennis, 2k Announced it's bringing back Top Spin as Top Spin 2k25 at some point this year. Add that to the list of things I'm super anticipating as I've debated buying the old ones and dusting off my 360 (which is buried deep in storage somewhere).

Bills and Steelers pushed to Monday at 4:30 PM. Before that, there was a post from the team about asking fans to help shovel snow in the stadium all night long.

Meanwhile in the other part of the state, it sounds like Freeze is pushing out the alumni members of the staff. Carnell Williams and Zac Etheridge are leaving the staff. Odd timing to be having this stuff happening when they should be capitalizing on voldemort being vanquished.

Lots of credible Bama insiders reporting that Lanning is in Tuscaloosa tonight. He didn’t fly across the country for an interview (if he, in fact, did)

Still seems kinda hazy, though.
Lanning is probably the one guy I don't want to see them hire. I think the dude is a legitimate good coach and is one meaningful season away from being viewed that way.
I also don't see the allure of leaving Oregon for him. He's building a recruiting machine there, and I think Oregon will do well in the Big Ten overall as they're probably in the top 3-4 or higher in that conference just by joining.

Kind of an odd move if they keep the pick and draft Williams. Conventional wisdom is just to start fresh, but I'm not sure there's too many exciting coaching names out there right now.

After 2-3 weeks of not gaming at all (finding the time to sneak away has been tough), I hopped around on a few games over the weekend via gamepass before jumping back into SpiderMan 2. I bopped around on a few side quest/collectible chases before feeling like the game was starting to funnel me through the mainline. I have reached a spot I didn't anticipate if I was going to platinum this game on first playthrough (I never do but getting close would be nice).
SpoilerI just reached the point where Peter gets the symbiote removed from him, and it ends back up on Harry followed by the fun Venom rampage section. Anyways, I didn't max out the abilities for the symbiote (I think I was one or two short) before reaching this section (I'm around level 35 of character progression). I'm curious if the post game lets you use the powers if you want.

Yeah, I read a decent breakdown of it yesterday. The lawsuit sounds like more an exploration of feasibility. Give them credit because they're the one bold enough to do it. (There are a few other conference schools that have read the Grant of Rights just as many times but haven't pulled the trigger). I think all of the schools in the conference were not wise to sign such a strict commitment though. College football and collegiate athletics has undergone too many changes to be locked into something so strict for so long. ACC being a starting point for the Alliance and then blocking the playoff makes this whole thing even worse.

I'm not where I want to be on sustained distance on my runs, but I'm at 520 miles ran for the year, which I'm sure is a personal best, and I anticipate adding at least another 20 miles to that before the year ends. Next year I will transition some of those miles to strength training so I can start to burn off some fat.

I played it for a bit when I still paid for Gamefly. I enjoyed the couple hours I threw into it. At some point, I'll probably pick up whatever the deluxe edition is when it's cheap. I'm in no hurry now thanks to backlog.
Edit: It's kind of a weird combo of an X-Com Like with some card battle mechanics. It also sadly sunk that studio. -

There were some incredible spots but they all involved waiting around or Vikingo having issues finding his footing. It was far from what I enjoy. Taurus looked dominant enough when he had heat that he should have gone over.

This Manchester United team is just abysmal to watch these days. Had a few chances in the box to equalize and then totally collapsed to concede that second goal. A club that cannot stay out of its own way.

I want to finish XVI in the next couple of weeks after stepping away from it due to lack of time and playing a fair amount of EA FC and Spiderman. I'm not a fan of this recent trend of "we have no intentions of releasing DLC" followed by "surprise, we now have DLC!" I'm curious what the reactions are to Echoes of the Fallen after some play through it today. I'm guessing it's only going to be 2-3 hours if that. It looks like it funnels you into a pretty insane boss battle quickly.

Triple H doesn't like to hotshot and he doesn't like quick title reigns or surprise title changes. He's a traditionalist. That makes the Money in the Bank briefcase a problem.
I kind of thought last night was the perfect time to do it even if you had Drew still attacking Jey post-match to give Priest the opening. I'm kind of questioning if the cash in is not being saved for whatever happens with Punk/Rollins. If you have Punk win and have the moment and then steal it from him in a "you get a sip but not the whole glass" kind of moment. I know that's been done a few times (I was at the one where Sheamus did it).

Fully finished SM2 this week, overall really enjoyed it but totally agree on the clunky additions and hopefully they'll be smoothed out for the third game (or likely DLC).
Yeah, it's rare that the sequel has less satisfying combat than the other entries. (this could be more idealistic memory than reality). At its worst, the game feels like more of the same. The combat in this one has just been a step down for me.

It can be kind of clunky too because the parry stuff and types of enemies can make it a challenge. I find that I don't use my finish option in a lot of the story stuff because I want to be able to heal on the go when I have a chunk of health taken away. As for where I'm at in the game:
SpoilerI just finished the mission where you and Harry rescue Tombstone. It's interesting that the game advertised on Peter having Venom powers including the first gameplay showcase for the game demoing it because I'm closing in on about 25% completion and am surprised that it's a bit slow played even if it's normal act structure logic.
