Do you really want Antonio Brown to play with Patrick Mahomes?  We'll forget he's crazy all over again.

It looks like the only way to take down the Chefs is from within.

    AB would be perfect.

Their receivers have been so disappointing they've traded for the ghost of disappointment past.

    They should sign Antonio Brown.

He needs the money and I need a laugh.

How was that movie? I was interested but never checked it out.

I liked it, but I'm a guy that'll watch Bruce Campbell drink a cup of tea.

The story was no great shakes, but it was a fun popcorn flick.

  4. Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things has been a favorite of mine since discovering it on a local TV station back in the 70s.

It's dripping in atmosphere, which is enhanced by the horrible lighting.

The cast perfectly encapsulates the local theatre/filmmaking scene with it's mix of characters and silly dialog.

And they beat Fulci with that ending by many years.

The siege is almost an afterthought, as by the time it happens you're really ready for Alan to get his.

Great choice @The Comedian and great writeup @twiztor.

  5. Hey @J.T., how do you feel about another set of icons in the horror community, namely The Firefly family from Rob Zombie's Firefly Trilogy?

I haven't seen the Terrifier films, so i can't make any comment as to Art The Clown, but the Firefly's seem to share many of the traits you attributed to Art.

Now that I think more, Zombie's Michael Myers has some of the same characteristics, as well.

I find the Firefly's films to be a hard rewatch, although I do pop on House Of 1000 Corpses when I'm feeling sentimental that way.

But Zombie's Halloween films are easy for me to pop on and enjoy, go figure.

Hell, I still have trouble thinking of Chucky as a "Horror Icon", but he is and that's all on me.

  6. Who knew all it took was a Bears legend dying to get this team going.

Don't think there are enough legends left for them to have a big season, though.

At times, Fields looked like a competent QB.

I wonder if anyone has a "he was possessed by a literal demon" take like Jericho on Benoit.

I'm too lazy to look this up for myself, but don't tell me Jericho actually spouted this?

  9. I really hope he gets some proper help, because the video of him talking about Aaron Hernandez is tough to watch.

The allegation that McDaniels could have had a hand in Hernandez's death is preposterous.

There's no way Josh is competent enough to make that happen.

The funny part is the drive before they did a two point conversion so either he was making a dumb excuse off the top of his head or he had a brain fart mid game.

Brain fart is his normal operating mode.

He's the worst coach the Raiders have had since Lane Kiffin.

The game loss was bad enough, but hearing all those Steelers fans in stands was the true defeat.

I would say that Al is spinning in his grave, but he hired Kiffin.

EDIT: I just realized you meant St. Vitus the venue not Saint Vitus THE BAND; I am stupid. So here's some unrelated stories.

      Reveal hidden contents

DO EEEEEET. I was out of work when I saw them and made the trek alone, detoxing from booze, with no place to stay in another state and it was worth it. I could have reached out and touched Dave Chandler. The opening band? The Skull, with Trouble members including the late great Eric Wagner. They played "Assassin". I lost it.

A couple years later I saw the Skull again in the same venue, late pandemic when things were wrapping up but the shows were outside, not only right before Eric passed but the headliner was -- go figure -- the Obsessed. Wino is really short in real life. They played "Sodden Jackal". I lost it.

Adds an extra step when you're looking for Saint Vitus live gigs on YouTube.
