Both French matches this week were stiff as fuck
This whole match is great, but watch the strike exchange starting at the 44 minute mark, it is Lawler vs. Dundee level awesome
Bibi vs. Corn is our new 1962 MOTY as is basically FUTEN
-
This is basically a high level Lucha title match in 1960 in France. Inca Peruano is an all timer

I think it's fascinating that a key change in all of pro wrestling happened when I was 7 years old watching Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. Johnny Valentine, Wahoo McDaniel, and the Super Destroyer basically created Strong Style. Make it look real, lay it in, be very big. It deeply affected my views of wrestling. God, watch this match. It is textbook Mid-Atlantic strong style.
This match is incredible, we have this as our 1979 MOTY

It also has a spot in my book

Our other French Match this week was also incredible
The master of the headspin Gilbert LeDuc against El Estrangulador Rocco Lamban. Great grappling and a super cool fight over the dragon sleeper

Modesto Aledo vs. Teddy Boy has both incredible slick wrestling and horrifically violent bumps. Incredible discovery and something everyone should watch right now!
Here is the write up

We reviewed an awesome Paradigm Pro Show on Segunda Caida
http://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2020/07/paradigm-pro-wrestling-fighting-spirit.html
It is a UWFI style tournament which is my favorite non Yuki Ishikawa adjacent indy shootstyle show. There is a great superfight between Stephan Bonnar and Matthew Justice and a really great semi-final and final. Haven't heard this show get much pimping before, but it is dope

You should check out AIW, it is my favorite current Indy promotion and has a really nice mix of wrestlers
We reviewed a ton of it on Segunda Caida
Here is our review of the Mania weekend show which had the best opening four matches of any show I have ever been to live

I reviewed a War Games match from 2008 in AWS which was a so-cal indy fed.

It isn't particularly amazing or anything, but it does have a great Adam Pearce performance, and maybe the craziest single dive I have ever seen, Human Tornado does a flip plancha with tremendous distance and height while wearing a walking boot. Worth just fast forwarding the footage to that spot.

They have been on an uploading binge lately, including BattlArts and NWA Wildside! I figured they needed their own catch-all thread

This week we have a proto-WAR heavyweight battle between Iska Khan and Jim Oliver, and one of the craziest matches in wrestling history between Francis Louis/Jean Claude Bordeaux and Antonio Perero/Mota Dos Santos with both teams flying into the ring on spring platformshttp://segundacaida.blogspot.com/2020/02/tuesday-in-french-catch-day-louis.html

This week we have an incredible match between Jochim La Barba and Inca Peruano from 1957, and a 1972 match between Rene Lesartesse and Franz Van Buyten which takes place in the middle of a swimming pool for some reason
