finally broke down and bought a Wii-U.
had some friends over to play it last night, had a blast. Mostly played Super Mario Bros. U (this and the Luigi U game came with the system) but also played a bunch of NintendoLand minigames.
can't wait for Friday and Mario 3D World!

More than likely, I won't be getting a Xbox One. Microsoft's handling of the previous generation has left a sour taste in my mouth and I don't honestly foresee the upcoming gen being any different. The exclusive games (Quantum Break, Titanfall, etc.) for Xbox One just don't appeal to me as well.

This entire generation sounds hilariously awful. It's like all the worst parts of Steam multiplied by infinity.
Which people will be willing to overlook when they get their hands on GTA VI or Halo 5 or The Last Guardian.

Finally got a 14th Platinum trophy in Darksiders. And yeah, it's hard to miss THQ after seeing what they have done in the last several years (why anyone there thought uDraw was a great idea I don't know).

Bravely Default and Professor Layton & The Azran Legacies have US release dates. Bravely Default on February 7th and Professor Layton on February 28th.
It's rumored heavily that Infamous: Second Son will also come out on February 7th, at least in Europe. I don't know about the States or worldwide.

Supposedly, it's less than 1% of all PS4's. I'm cautiously optimistic, considering I'm getting my PS4 from Dell.com.

Right now, the PS4 is doing the trophy sync from the PS3 days. I would hope that there would be a patch coming where it's automatic.

I'm getting a PS4 with Killzone: Shadowfall from Dell.com. Also, earlier today, Amazon did a deal for B2G1F on PS4 games. I picked up Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Knack & NFS: Rivals....I also pre-ordered Infamous: Second Son.
This is one of the few game launches where everything is on the internet....I too am surprised that Sony didn't do a 1 TB HD with PS4.

Amazon is doing a B2G1F deal for PS4 games today from 12 noon to 4 pm EST. So you may not even have to drive by a Best Buy to get AC4.

Two trophies away from another Platinum, this time with Dante's Inferno. Very easy game for the most part.
Hard mode circle 4 or 5 kicked my ass. in the end traded that one in because it wasn't all that fun anymore.
Still - got me into reading the divine comedy, so theres that.
Still powering through BL2 - thanks to Brisco for joining me the past couple of tuesday evenings (afternoons, brisco's time, obv...)
Unfortunately, there isn't a trophy for completing the game in hard mode. You can get the Platinum in one and a half playthroughs on easy/classic mode.
The Platinum for Dead Space on the other hand -- oooh boy.
Right now, I'm trying to get a Platinum for Darksiders and having the hardest time with the "Aerial Predator" trophy.

I met a really nice cool girl I'm going to hang out with on Saturday. Although physically she wouldn't be the type of girl I would have dated in the past (i.e. she's a bit heavy set), her personality and her smile goes a long way for me.

What? What am I doing wrong? I have no judgments about her whatsoever. I don't care what she looks like -- a cute girl is a cute girl as far as I'm concerned. I'm not going to share too much on here about her.
We talked for a bit and I found that I had a lot in common with her and I wanted to get to know her better, so we exchanged numbers and agreed to meet up.
I mean, it's just meeting up for coffee, what am I doing wrong?

I used to like going to Black Fridays when the stores would open at 5 a.m.
Now, this whole thing of stretching out the hours is a bit much. I doubt I will venture out at all.
Supposedly, Toys R Us will be open at 5 pm on Thursday, which is just unacceptable. These people working there are human beings, not machines.

Here's the thing.
Daniel Bryan is little.
As his name would indicate, The Big Show is big.
Therefore, Show is the better choice to push and he should be allowed to use Bryan's schtick.
If you don't get that, then I don't know what part of "you don't understand the business" is unclear.

Managed to get a 11th Platinum trophy with God of War HD last night and working on the Platinum for Sleeping Dogs.

Got my 10th Platinum trophy on Borderlands, which was a really easy Platinum. Basically, level up my main character to level 50, jump online with the other character classes, level them up to unlock skill attacks and use their skill attacks.

I think I'm the only one on the board that's in the camp that believes David Cage is one of the biggest hacks in the gaming industry.
You guys are all crazy.
I would be inclined to agree. David Cage is not really a 'gamer,' so anything that is presented in his games don't really fit with everyone else's ideas of a great game.
He tries (I would say too much) in taking what he puts in his games from films. However, he does assume his audience are adults, so there's none of this lowest common denominator crap or efforts to be like COD.

What I liked about the COD series since COD4 is both multiplayer and single player components were excellent. Now I only play the series for the multiplayer part and single player campaign is just awful, although COD: Black Ops was pleasantly surprising.
