  1. Great Raw. Everything felt awesome except for Show kicking out of the Shellshock. Didn't feel right to me.

I'm also a sucker for finisher sequences. Last couple of minutes of the main-event was flaming hot. Too bad the Uso's get a bit overlooked when in the ring with the likes of the Shield, Wyatts, Punk, Bryan and the Rhodes boys, but they looked awesome.

And let's not forget: CESARO SECTION! I hope this becomes a thing.

  2. Gave up on the Riddler shit. Due to a glitch I can't enter the church and wrap up Black Mask's sidequest and as a result can't get the last couple of remaining Data packs. Also having a lot of frame rate issues lately. The more I play this game the more I hate WB for making it.

I went back to playing Arkham Asylum (which is ridiculously easy compared to City and Origins, especially the predator missions). The game is still great and I really miss having Scarecrow in Origins. Easily the highlights of the game. Also reminded me of the fact how spooky that game actually was. There is something about wandering through a mental hospital that's kind of unsettling.

  3. Rewatched the Blade trilogy. The first one is still my favourite despite the heavily dated CGI. But everything else is still great and they did a lot of shit right, the music, the setting and some of the stuff actually looks 'cool and hip' in a late 90's kind of way. There's also this scene in Blade 2 with the two vampires french kissing with a razorblade, made my stomach turn for some reason and I'm not easily grossed out. I also kind of dug the fight choreography, it sure is fuck is better than other comic book movies. Blade 3 was utter crap thanks to Reynolds and Biel, Triple H on the other hand was great as a henchman. Don't know how it holds up against the source material since I never read them.

  4.

The villian did very little for me in Thor 2. I was entertained by the last 30 minutes though, but overall not a good movie.

Cameo in the movie and mid-credit teaser were my highlights. Bring on the Guardians of the Galaxy!

Thanks for the review. Mind if I ask where you would place it in the eight Marvel Studios films?

Hard to say, I find it difficult to rank movies and my opinion differs from the general consensus e.g. I found Iron Man 2 quite entertaining and did not enjoy Cap. America as much as most. But I'd rank Thor 2 near the bottom. Like I said, I was entertained by some parts and the 'final showdown' (not really a spoiler, right?), but also annoyed by a lot of things in the plot. Hard to explain without giving away too many spoilers. ;)

  5. Threw in the towel on the Deathstroke fight in New Game Plus. He was already to incredibly hard and annoying on normal mode, but It's honestly not worth the swearing and breaking of controllers. I can't even seem to get out of the first round without an asskicking.

Everything else in the game is almost a breeze.

  6.

I've read a number of complaints about Batman: Arkham Origins freezing, glitches and loss of saves. That's not good.

Maybe i'm imagining it but didn't one of the previous Arkham games, i think City, have a problem with deleting saves as well?

Anyways, I've dropped a few hours into it so far and am enjoying it. I was a little worried from the videos and trailers that it was going to be too similar to Arkham City since it takes place in the same city but it hasn't felt like that so far. I also like that the opening in Blackgate felt like a throwback to the original Arkham Asylum game. Haven't read much of this thread since i've been staying away from spoilers but there could be something to the controls/counters not being as responsive, I've been getting hit a lot more than i did in the last game and put it down to me being out of practice but i'll blame the controls if i can get away with it!

I think we can conclude from some of the posters here that it's the controls. ;)

  7. Beat the game and most of the most wanted crimes (although I have still one more profile that is unopened). Some final thoughts:- Boss battles are a huge improvement of the previous games.I think every encounter is somewhat memorable... even Electrocutioner. They also did Bane's character justice and explained why he is just a big brute in the other games. - But then again, some characters could've been a lot more. Looking at you Shiva!

    - Really liked the levels and story. It was pretty much structured like the comics: one huge arc and several mini arcs within without getting the feeling that some villains were crammed in for the sake of it.- The game is buggy. Last night I had to reboot my ps3 three times because it kept locking up at certain times (namely the Batwing loading screen). Really annoying and should not happen.- As mentioned before the countering seems a bit off. In Arkham City I could clear rooms without getting hit once. In Origins I sometimes had to struggle with three thugs due to poor responsiveness.- Voice acting wasn't bad at all. Sure, no Kevin Conroy or Mark Hamill, but their replacements were pretty damn good.

  8. Agreed. Seems like some of the controls aren't as responsive unlike the previous games.Anyone else got to the Deadshot part yet?

Fucking annoying. Reminds me of that Two Face mission with Catwoman in AC. It's basically a Predator mission, except with infinite guards until you defeat Deadshot. However, deadshot can't be taken down with a stealth move. After my fourth try, I left the location, fuck that noise.

  9. Batman: Arkham Origins gets a 7.8 from IGN and a 6 from GameSpot. I was sure it wouldn't be reviewed as well as Arkham Asylum and Arkham City but I'm surprised at those scores. GameCentral haven't had a review copy.

In all honesty this game does feel like one big cheap cash-in from WB. Don't get me wrong, it does have it's highlights and isn't all that bad, but doesn't capture the essence of the previous two games.I'd say a 7 is about right. Not bad, not great either.

  10. Umaga beating the piss out of the Jackass jackoffs was beautiful.

    Shame the match never happened.

The Jackass/WWE crossover made so much sense: ridiculous characters hurting each other. Too bad it didn't happen in the heyday of either shows. There was also this one time were Knoxville was feuding with Khali because he said that Khali had a small 'tallywacker' on his internet show.

  11. Double post, but I got my hands on this game. Quick couple of things I have noticed:Controls are for the most part the same, except they switched Detective Mode and Quick Batarangs around. Kind of annoying, but you get used to it.Combat is also the same. I was racking up combo's just like before. Seasoned players will plow through the game. The new detective mode is pretty cool. Glad they expanded on the concept. The city is pretty damn big, but it feels empty with for the most part only thugs out on the street. Don't expect a GTA level of open world.Attention to detail isn't as big as in Arkham City, where pretty much every nook and cranny had a reference to the Batman lore.

  12. Walkthroughs are already leaking on YouTube, so beware of spoilers folks, if that's a big deal for you. FYI, you can get some free skins (DC 1 Million Bats and Red Son Bats) for the game if you log-in or register for a WBID account on the mobile version.

I already checked a few out, I honestly don't even play these games for the story so I don't mind the spoilers. To me one of the biggest selling point is (minor spoilers just to be sure):

Revisiting Arkham City. You actually begin in the Bowery, before it's all deteriorated: so far I have spotted the GCPD (the one from AC), the museum, court house and Wonder Tower. I assume the church will be there was well.

  13. Heads up that youtube has already leaked a couple of boss fights (some people already got their hands on the game, broke street release date or something). So spoiler alert in case you want to check out some footage.

I must say though that I'm not really that impressed with the few that I saw.

  14. I don't think UAE is that strict about foreigners, they have compounds for foreign workers where all kinds of debauchery takes place at the weekend from what I've heard.

Openly gay... or any form of PDA is a crime, but in night clubs and such it's a lot more tolerable. Mainly because of the large numbers of expats that go there.I've been to Abu Dhabi several times and once went clubbing and end up at a Saudi party at my hotel. No women allowed. I saw guys in traditional Saudi garb dance a tad bit too intimate with each other. Weird shit.

  15.

Fuck John Cena. The sooner he endures a career ending injury, the better. This entire stretch since he lost to DB has been amazing because it's forcing the writers and bookers to work without their precious security blanket.

Nothing like wishing injury on someone because you don't like the character they portray on television. Classy.

Yeah, to hell with all those stupid kids who love to watch Cena wrestle.  And bring back the NWO and ECW too because PG sucks!!!!!1111!!!

    Thumbs up if you agree!
