  1. How would AJ react if a "fan" tried to get her to autograph a copy of that cartoon?

It's gonna happen ... some douche funny-in-his-own head fuck is gonna give it a shot.  This isn't "get Rob Liefield to autograph a copy of 'How to Draw the Marvel Way'" though, since it's not going to be amusing when it happens.

You guys are thinking too small. If they're in a smark town tonight, someone is going to show up with that picture blown up as a sign.

  2. If Rey/Show does not pay off in at least one splash done by that little fucker from atop Show's shoulders, it's all for naught. (As long as the first time they do it is NOT at 'Mania, and doesn't end up with Rey accidentally spiking his fucking brains all over the mat.)

I think their finisher should be a revision of the Lawn Dart Toss. Just have Show launch Rey at the opponent and call it the Mexcian Missile.

  3. Not gonna spoil anything, but that Dolphins dude on Reddit already got one of tonight's finishes wrong.

And then got all pissy on Twitter over it.

    How so?

After the match, said "Misinformation I received from my source.  Congrats to WWE.  I am done for the night."

That's your definition of getting pissy?

  4. Losing to Punk wasn't as big a problem as failing to ever get one over on the Shield. He could have recovered from losing to the longest reigning champ in 25 years, but constantly getting punked by a trio of rookies was the nail in the coffin.

  5. Why does Punk attack HHH? Because he distrusts any and all authority figures, which was set up during The Summer of Punk. He got sidetracked from that because of the Heyman stuff -- his heel turn back to the side of good, which unfolded over the course of almost two years.

Also, Punk needed Heyman's support because even as champ, he wasn't getting the respect he deserved.

  6. Speaking of "newz" lines, when I lived in San Antonio in the mid-'90s, there was a free phone service that was promoted and maybe run by the San Antonio Express News that offered everything from recipes to news to games. You would call in and then choose a four-digit extension, and that extension would connect you to a pre-recorded bit of news/game/etc. I vividly remember that there were four Choose Your Own Adventure-style games with three choices and only one way to win. One was called Wizard's World, there was another one set in space, and there might have been a cop/detective one. It updated every Sunday, so you could get new games and news weekly just by calling this number.

Anyway, this long bit of text is to say that this service also had pro wrestling news and rumors, and it was how I knew about Hall and Nash leaving for WCW months before it happened, and even that Hall was suspended for a marijuana test as a cover for Vince McMahon being upset enough that he wanted to keep Hall from a WrestleMania payday. This stuff was pretty surprising for a thirteen-year-old kid at the time. Does anyone who lived in the area remember this service and know who was the person/organization giving those rumors/news bits?

I had something extremely similar to that around the same time out in eastern NC. Might have been the same service, who know?

    Same thing in Gastonia, NC.

  7. I mean it already appears that the WWE's been testing this with their WWE app. For those who haven't used it, you get pretty good quality streaming video for those "during commercial" segments they show.

The Quality during Bret Hart Appreciation Night was really good and made me wonder why they didn't test out broadcasting house shows every now and again.

  8. John Cena calling 11-time world champion Randy Orton an underachiever who never reached his potential got a slight chuckle out of me.

Reminds me of Hogan calling multi-time TNA champ AJ Styles a "young up and comer".

  9. Back to the actual show, who do we think is next in line to be called up or maybe more importantly receive a sustained push? I like Woods but he's saddled with a dead gimmick and will probably flounder around the midcard.

Rusev is the good bet IMO.

Isn't there a rumor that Solomon Crowe will be called up soon as part of a tag team?

I would like Bo Dallas called up as a delusional face and returning to his feud with a returning Wade Barrett, leading to a double turn.
