  1. Ryback is Ogre.

I really enjoyed that final segment.  Triple H is like Tony Soprano and Vince is Tony's Dad, who is technically the head of the group but bows out to Hunter.  Triple H looked like a major dick and it was awesome.  Now, Bryan needs to extract total revenge on every one from tonight and go on a rampage over the coming months.  The WWE Mafia, I like it.

Honestly, I liked Darren Young's fire on his hot tag in that tag match.  He's really progressing and his recent PR stuff should do him some good.  Personally, I think they should have him beat ADR for the belt and parade him around as the first openly gay champ.  They've got nothing to lose.

BTW, Jay, how the hell do you get those pictures and your write-up online so damn quick every show?  Major props man.

  2. I called that ending but I wasn't sure on the clean finish.  Bryan was made tonight by Cena and I'm fairly confident he'll win back that belt.  It was a great match, probably only trailing Punk/Lesnar, in my opinion.  For a second, I thought Bryan would ride off into the sunset but as soon as Orton turned back around I knew Triple H was sticking him.  The lesson to be learned is never have Triple H ref a match at Summerslam again. This'll probably set up a program for Orton and Bryan where DB can chase the belt again and re-gain it.

The rest of the card was pretty fair except the divas stuff.  Sandow isn't looking too hot but he's still fairly new I guess.  I keep wanting to find something in Cody Rhodes that makes him a top level guy but I can't.  Dolph looked good and I'm also glad they're sticking with this Del Rio run instead of quickly taking the belt off of him again.  I don't think too highly of him but for now at least they're giving him something.

That opener was pretty boring, if you ask me.  I like the Wyatt gimmick but I'm not huge on Bray in-ring yet.  He seemed very sluggish.

It was also nice of Cena to almost shove DB's head into the mat from the top rope!

  3. Triple H has to do something tonight.  Why else is he in this thing?  There's no good reason for him to be in the match except to turn on Bryan.  Orton cashing in seems predictable but if Triple H helps him cash it in and they form an alliance, it would make sense in that regard.  He could even make the count himself and it would be legal.  Orton and Triple H have history together and Orton needs a freshening up.  DB can then chase the belt and win it back later in the year after a true program with Orton.

If that scenario came true, it would be best for Cena to lose clean or else DB still doesn't look like he can quite hang with the old dogs.  Let's say he beats Cena with Cena's foot on the ropes or something.  Then, he loses automatically to Orton.  DB doesn't really get elevated much in that situation.

This all really compares with 2011.

  4. I'm having a tough time believing that Punk is a suitable rival for Brock and that he can beat him.  I know he probably will but looking at it from a casual standpoint, Brock is leagues ahead of him.  That MMA line in the video was awesome and he still feels like a destroyer of men.  Punk just seems like a skinny smartass, wanna-be badass.  Maybe I'm thinking too much.

That Cena/Bryan segment was the tops.  Cena showed more intensity than his entire Rock feud that spanned two years.  He looked like he wanted to kill DB and it was awesome.  DB pushed them buttons and manipulated his emotions perfectly.  This match will rule.  No matter what the outcome, DB will end up looking better than ever and the match will end up being at least a good match.  No way this match will end up bad with these two.

Oh yea, Cesaro's cape was legendary.  Swagger looked bored.

  5. I really didn't see everything but the opening segment did very well in putting over Bryan, except for Vince's bullshit.  It was nice hearing the pindrops as Wade came out though.  It was a good WWE angle that put over DB and that hair looked pretty good too.

Let me ask you guys, really, what are the chances DB walks out with the belt at Summerslam?  I'd love to see it happen but I'm not holding my breath too much even though I think I'll get the show based on this match alone.
