  1. Right but if they don't do anything, what does it matter?

It's the same way in a wrestling game.  It's like do you want to play as Crow Sting or Surfer Sting?  Or a fighting game, you can switch the colors of your fighter.  No it doesn't really change the game play of the character, but it's fun to change the color for some variation.  As a huge fan of the Batman Beyond show and comics, I think getting to play as Batman in the Beyond suit is pretty cool.

It's like what color do you want your Batman?  No they don't do anything, but it's fun to play with an alternate skin.

  2. Some closeups of the season pass skins:

Earth 2, Long Halloween,Flashpoint, ThrillKiller, and Dark Knight of the Round Table.

First Appearance, Red Son, Noel (Bermejo), New 52(?), Blackest Night

So that's what, 15 different alternate suits for Batman in the game?  16 skins I guess if you count Bruce Wayne.

  3. And you're next Bellator middleweight tournament semifinalist, Yushin Okami.

Not a huge Okami fan, but the dude was still ranked No. 6, plus he was only 3-2 in his last five with losses to Boetsch and Jacare.  Think he should've gotten another fight.

  4. I'm only planning on getting the Knightfall pack and probably the story DLC.  And maybe the Bruce Wayne pack if it gets good reviews.

Amazon has the soundtrack available and it confirms the appearance of these two characters (only click if you want to know):

    Killer Croc and Magpie

Music was composed by Christopher Drake who has done like all the DCAU movies and Injustice.

  5. Early on I was definitely anti-Arrow.  For some reason, I stuck with it and realized that while the characters are mediocre and the dialogue is awful, it has fun fight sequences and the plotting is actually pretty good.

It's like somebody had really good big picture ideas, but then delegated the details to hacks.  Except the fight scenes.  Anyway, it turns out to be a decent mix once you learn to filter past the stupid words that come out of these people's mouths.

Unfortunately I had a hard time getting past the soap opera dialogue and goofy characters in the first season.  The show's version of Deadshot was pretty cool though.

  6. I think Silva even said at the Vegas conference was his contract is what changed his mind about wanting to rematch, and he was like "I have contract.  I have 9 fight OO-FC.  I am here for working."  And then Dana was basically just like, "his new contract motivates him."  In California he only seemed to perk up when people asked about Roy Jones.

    EDIT:

UFC has cut Ryan Couture.  Paging Epwar so he can complain about UFC throwing him to the wolves like Ross Pearson and Al Iaquinta.

  7. That is literally the oddest fight I can think of them giving Condit or Brown.  I'm glad to see Matt Brown get a higher up fight, but he's been subbed a whole bunch.  And Condit gains absolutely nothing by beating a guy not in the top 10.

Matt Brown is in the top 10 and Brown is the fight Condit asked for.  Everyone else in the top 10 is busy right now anyway.

  8. Not that I dislike that fight or anything, but wasn't Brown supposed to fight Tarec Saffiedine?  Did Saffiedine get injured again?  I guess this fight just made more sense for a Fox card.  Not that I'm complaining because I love this match-up.

  9. So weird to me that Hollywood seemed to be trying really hard to make Patrick Wilson this big star and most of his big roles are flops or lukewarm disappointments until he does these low budget horror flicks with James Wan.

  10. I got to figure if the plan was to strip him of the title and humiliate Bryan again over the fast count, why wouldn't they have done it last night?  Seems weird to prolong the Dusty Finish to the following night on Raw.

  11. Interesting that the vast vast majority of the reaction i've read to the Miyazaki news seems to be denail that it's even true to begin with.

Most people responding are taking the stance that "he's talked about retiring a bunch in the past & he always comes back, this will be no diffrent"

Well I mean, that's accurate isn't it?  Isn't this like his third "retirement?"
