So Gustafsson now faces Jimi Manuwa in England in March 2014.

It's high time to ditch the world heavyweight title.

Yup that sounds about right.

I saw Thor tonight and had a great time. Scale and scope of this one was great and a lot better than the first movie at least. Honestly, I liked the movie better than Iron Man 3 really.
Stay after the entire credits.
Also two fantastic cameos. Also Thor is going after the wrong lady:

I'm in the same boat. I want a PS4, but I won't be able to get one for a while. Plus, I never like to buy first generation anyway since they will make a better one later anyway and for a cheaper price.

Phantom Pain is also getting a current gen version.

Really, think they should've just made Carmouche/Davis the main event. I mean Carmouche headlined a PPV that did a decent buyrate and she's coming off a win. Considering this is a fight night card, would've been a good experiment.

I just don't get why Chandler was keeping his hands down the whole fight. That was not very smart.
-
So does Daniel Cormier fight Phil Davis or Rashad Evans moving down to 205? Because it doesn't look like UFC is keen to book Gustafsson against him.

The Cyrus Pinkney side quest doesn't show up on the map. The plaques you can find show up as Gotham Intel. It's a fun little easter egg thing though. It plays out a lot like the Amadeus Arkham/Quincy sharp spider tablets in Asylum.

Yes the Newton/Mo interim title fight was a terrible idea. Bellator really would've just been better off letting the Vegh/Newton fight take place and waiting to put Mo in an actual title fight. Considering they gave Mo an easy track to winning a 2-man tournament. I feel bad for Newton though. He had to win a 3-man tournament and had to beat Mo again and he's still not the real champion, who is not even injured now.
But yes this card is the perfect of example of why you should never put three title fights on one card.

How often do you see three title fights go to a decision on one card? Not since Strikeforce's last event on CBS.
-
Countdown to Bjorn Rebney announcing a 2-man tournament with King Mo in it?
Newton gets injured and Mo gets the title shot against Vegh as the runner-up.
Glad that Judo Gene LeBell is a judge tonight.

In a nutshell guys, i've avoided all spoilers and even information about games i'm getting the next few months (such as this, Pokemon, would have been Watch Dogs..)How does this stack up against Asylum and City for you all? Am I right in hearing that this was made by a different team those games as when someone said that I was kinda put off as I loved them both.Cheers
I think the combat is a bit slower. I love the environments and stages more. Gotham City looks fantastic. I love the music and how Gotham City looks a little more elegant and brightly lit with all the Christmas decorations. The story and emotional depth here is an improvement over Arkham City I think. I'd elaborate but I don't want to risk spoiling any of the story for you.
I like the new enemy types, love the Bat-Cave and Alfred, getting to play the challenge maps as you progress in-game, crime scene reconstruction, and quick travel. Boss fights are way better and more varied as well as very satisfying. Now in terms of overall presentation, Arham City has this beat because of how well presented and polished it was. It didn't have all the issues at launch that Origins did. Like it wouldn't save my progress if I interrogated an Enigma thug and returned to the Batcave. Also, there was another glitch where I after I defeated a thug I needed to interrogate, the interrogate prompt just wouldn't pop up and let me finish it. Plus the lag issues with the cut scenes and quick travel, it's something that detracted from the overall experience.
The challenge maps are great, and I love getting to play as Deathstroke. Multiplayer to me doesn't work very well. It's a very clunky multiplayer. It's hard to see anything in the maps. I don't think this style of game worked well for multiplayer. I think maybe they should try co-op for like the combat challenge maps or like a co-op combat arena.

I assume Star-Lord's round object is:
an Infinity Gem

Rocksteady really can't do a prequel at this point since it just got done. We really need to see a continuation of the events of Arkham City.
-
I'll be there live. Can't wait to see Alvarez/Chandler 2.

Yeah, he did so well in GI JOE they killed off the important-to-the-franchise Destro like a d-list character in the second movie.
No they didn't, they just wrote him out. He didn't die.
So what you're saying is...that The Wire is terrible?
-
Yes I had a similar incident playing yesterday. Granted, I've had PS3 games freeze up on me other than Arkham City before. So it's not like its the worst offender.
Interestingly enough, I'm hearing the Wii U version of the game is the most optimal (on consoles).

Tom Hardy is doing a yakuza movie with Takashi Miike that shoots early next year called The Outsider. Add Beat Takeshi and I'm in bliss.
It's basically The Last Samurai with yakuza instead of samurai.

Maybe a stupid question that i probably already know the answer too since there wasn't one in the last game but there is no 'point of no return' right? I can go back and do side quests after i beat the main story? I'm about 20% through so far and i'm sure i'm missing some of the side quests since there are gaps between some of the ones I've unlocked on the mission screen.
Agreed that it feels huge, I've dropped several hours into this already and i'm sure there are parts of the city i haven't even been too yet, never mind about any parts that may unlock as the game goes on.
Yeah all the sidequests will still be there. I didn't finish a couple of them and the collectible missions until after.
I think the game does have a point of no return.
Once you go to the bridge to pursue Firefly.

I wouldn't mind it at all if they were all being puppeteered by the real Mandarin, who turns out to be Raza from IM1. What happened to that dude, anyway?
(I was actually waiting for him to be the big twist on the twist in IM3)
The implication was that Stane's men shot him to hell. Though his death was off-screen. He got paralyzed by Stane's device and then Stane's troops went into his tent and started shooting.

Find it hard to believe they are going to retcon their second biggest movie ever in a throwaway short.

Collecting all the Enigma data packs unlocks the new 52 Batman skin. I've already got like 6 alternate Bat skins at this point, plus the ones for Deathstroke. Just trying to find the last of the Anarky tags before I move on to new game plus.
Honestly, my hope is that the story DLC is the following:
Deathstroke going on some badass mission from Cadmus and Amanda Waller going off of the post-credits cutscene.
