  1. Mick Foley was a total douche to us. Went to his stand up comedy gig where he just awkwardly veered from one story from his first book to the next. Forgot that most of the crowd had already paid for after-show meet and greet, whined about it. Then called me out as me and my friend wanted a photo with him together, and decided it was line cutting or some such illogical bullshit. We'd already paid him the same amount, it didn't matter to him, we both said we wanted the photo together, and so we've got this awkward photo of him just looking shitty.

As such, I hope those claims about him are true.

On the other side, as a younger man, I was an obnoxious ass to AJ Styles and he took it very gracefully. I appreciate that in hindsight.

He really was a disturbing shade of orange. I couldn't remember if he'd always looked like a well worn leather bag, but nope, I did check an old IWA MS DVD & he was at least a bit whiter. Hasn't he always been quite orange in his NXT referee run though?

More that he didn't apply it evenly, his undercut looked white as fuck and the rest Taz-like.

Devil's advocate: person donates to charity/cause as overcompensation for something that happened in their past, either as victim or perp.

Ockham's Razor for me here is just him being a creep/wanting to get close to Tori Amos in the same line as the Melina argument above, and that he's also his own biggest fan. Can't drop on social media how much he donated/his latest charitable act enough.

  4. Really can't say I care about the lack of cage roof. Pinfalls I'm OK with if the right booking is there - I don't think they played up Cole avoiding the fray enough and then picking up a cheap pin for the right amount of heat.

I question the rest of team enters at once aspect, especially with three teams doing it at small intervals. It wasn't too bad for this one because so many of the guys weren't established names in their own right, and there's only so much build up you can dedicate to one half of an unestablished tag team making their big entrance into the cage.

Dream/Black is probably second to Bate/Dunne, but a definite medal dais for MOTY.

  5. I was expecting worse.

Aquaman is going to be huge. Great performance from Jason Momoa channelling likeable Roman Reigns.

CGI is bad but not distracting.

They completely neuter Batman for mine and have him portrayed as the special friend/sidekick of the real heroes way too much. Not so sure about Wacky Jewish Flash either. Seems they're going all in on another Superman film to make him seem like such a bigger deal than the rest.

Jeremy Irons does so much with so little. Why Dianne Lane has so much screen time and does so little with it is beyond me.

Script is pretty bad and aimless. Villain pointless. But it's not offensive.

I'd like to see Bray Wyatt corrupt Jason Jordan in the coming weeks.  "I was showing you the truth, Jason.  Your father doesn't love you."  Do you think Jordan can grow a beard?  Jason Jordan as Bray Wyatt's hench-athlete would be some good TV.

I'd rather it be Raven, finally getting revenge on Kurt for walking out on that ECW show 20 years later, being paid to do so by Shane, after corrupting Shane/getting him into GHB got him fired the first time around.

  7. Emma's stuff in NXT since being sent back there were as good as anyones. That PPV match with Asuka was fantastic, she came off as a total star there.

Being on the main roster doesn't suit her at all, 5 minute matches, those awkward backstage promos that she doesn't seem to care for making an effort/play "pretend". I assume she comes back to MCW quick smart.

  8. Loved Thor.

Wasn't the best Marvel film, but definitely had the most laugh out loud moments.

Taika Waititi steals the show. Not sure how well it translates with US audiences, that New Zealander Flight of the Concords, awkward nerd style humour (contrasts really well with strong guys like Thor and Hulk). If you loved What We Do In The Shadows, it's a pretty good bet you'll enjoy this.

I think they got the tone right on this one. Was really enjoyable.

  9. Is this the final nail in the coffin of Bray Wyatt?

Unfair and deliberately factitious on the severity of meningitis aside but good luck selling the spooky undead supernatural character that is Bray Wyatt...and his demon possessive sister Abigail...who can't be here tonight due to a cold.

Undertaker would have been similarly DOA had his casket match with Kamala been rescheduled due to gastro..

  10. Five on five. Further the idea that Angle is slowly helping out his son unfairly. Adds Jordan to the mix. Daniel Bryan the fifth guy. Couple of safe spots to pop the crowd, brawls with Miz to the back taking them both out of it.

Jordan saves Angle from Strowman and takes a huge bump off a ladder or something for the finish.

  11. That WWE Story Time show. With the exception of maybe Coach, is there anyone on there that doesn't come off as a total asshole?

This week, the Rock reflects on throwing a 100 pound typewriter off a balcony at 14 before throwing eggs at people down below. Jake Roberts/some guy was afraid of snakes legit so I fucked with him story that seemingly appears every week, etc. etc.
