I really hope they don't get Bret Hart to return the favour and give a cue-carded eulogy.

When he became a heel manager, he was forced to adopt the ring name RD Reynolds due to wrestling fans leaving him angry messages on his answering machine.
Sure they did....

Going to be an interesting time to find 2 new openers. Not sure if Jennings is the one to persist with, nor Root opening.
Ali solves some issues with the logjam of all-rounders, otherwise, like what I saw of Hameed.

No, that picture was taken from a very early stage of the original Nexus (you can tell because Tarver is there.) Young and Shefield got clipped out of the pic for some reason.
I'm guessing around the time Skip broke his leg, and Darren got fired from Nexus for not beating Cena.

I'll +1 the idea that a stable are guys that are managed by the same manager, but have no interaction beyond that (Heenan Family would team up at Survivor Series, and maybe the Patera beatdown, but beyond that, minimal, and you could probably argue Jimmy Hart's guys were probably a better example of this), whilst a faction are guys that actively team together, accompany each other to ringside, promo together etc.

On top of that, why show up when he "quit"?
Didn't even have to slip a mickey in Corbin's drink either.

I hope this leads to a Finn heel turn.
That had a "Cactus gets beat down in the cage by DX whilst everyone chants for Austin" vibe to it.

Luger is a pretty good example of the difference between the promotions at the time.
The WWF were incapable of making you care about a particular guy and their motives, as they simply refused to have anyone remotely interesting - they were either really good or really bad, nothing in between, straight forward motivations that Donny Dumbfuck could get.
WCW were really good at adding that extra bit of character, nuances and shades of grey that made you really think about things, which probably at times was counterproductive to their audience. What they weren't good at doing was pulling the trigger on guys who got hot from that, and making them *the* guy, whereas once Vince decided on a guy, this was the course of action, for better or worse. If you didn't like a guy, it wasn't because of wins and losses.
There was absolutely nothing interesting about Lex Luger from 93-95. Stars and stripes waving babyface. Exclusively that. Overnight, he became the most complex character in professional wrestling.- 1

It'll happen at some point. What better way to show off Tolerant Terry?

Because of his doofy son that he kept taking his shirt off of.
That time his son tripped over the barrier. Road Warrior pop.

He was a heel during his last run in the E.
I'm going to add votes for Steamboat and Santana, I don't think those could ever be possible.
Nah, but his doofus son certainly was.

This was the post that first made me aware of this guy.
I can't believe he was caught nearly 40 years on....

Forget Harper and Bray, Lashley and Finn coming out would have worked just as well, and in theory, gives them 6 guys people care about. Instead Lashley worked a squash against the Ascension, and Finn was made to look like a chump against Corbin.
Instead we have heel Strowman, largely to protect how well Rollins is going as a face presumably?

They had my interest briefly.
I have none in watching the Shield work underneath against Dolph Ziggler.

I hated Seinfeld as a kid. I rewatched the entire series this past month. I was so wrong.
This board makes so much more sense to me now too.

Has done so in Asia with some moderate returns. Not sure they will now that they've promoted him to 3.
