I was talking to a friend during the special about how they have a potential gold mine with these girls if they use them right. Young girls really look up to these ladies, even the heels. I just hate that the girls on the main roster aren't positioned in a way to really empower the young kids.
I agree. That's why I am sure to enjoy what the NXT women are allowed to do now because there's no way they get any of that once they get to the main roster.

Yeah, I don't get this "it's too late for Bayley" talk. NXT booking is really solid. I'm confident they can make it work if they decide to make her champion one day. And she's good enough that she can make it work for herself as well.
The fact that the big prize continues to elude her just means that her eventual win is gonna blow the roof off. Crowd still loves her and NXT can make it work.

So happy for Sasha Banks. She's been killing it for months so this win is well deserved. I really liked the 4 way and thought all of the women did a great job. The shock ending was awesome.

- I could watch Paige all day long, too. There's just something about her mannerisms that connects with me. I also find the Bellas easy to root against, so I'm all for this continuing.
I'm (probably vainly) hoping that the Bellas' double-teaming leads to Paige getting familial backup in the form of her mother at Wrestlemania.

Lynch and Bailey seemed kinda clunky in spots, mostly during Becky's control segments. I feel like she would make a better face.
I much prefer face Becky too. Heel Becky isn't doing it for me, which is crazy because I liked her heel work in SHIMMER. Not sure why this version isn't winning me over.

I dug Kong/Havok. Very cool "big woman" match that the crowd totally ate up. Glad to see Kong take the win as it solidifies her return. Now, I just need TNA to pair them together so they can kill everyone lol
Glad that we got an explanation as to why Angelina would stick around with the guy who screwed over her besties. Because she's still jealous of Velvet. Ha. Gotta give TNA points for not forgetting that subtle plot point.

Very cool news! I'm a big Hellcat fan and Rachael was probably the best thing about that Charlie's Angels remake (yes, I watched!).

Considering it was probably meant to be a throwaway match, the Divas tag was pretty good. I'm wondering what direction they are going for challengers now since The Bellas were so obviously dominant in this.

Great to see Kong back on my tv regularly again. If they don't create a Barbie Killer duo with her and Havok, they are missing the boat.

Yea, Nikki/Paige was pretty good. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of those two.

Glad to see both Sasha and Charlotte get a chance on main event. I'm assuming that, once they get called up, the Nxt women's division becomes the Becky-Bayley show.

I enjoyed the Sasha/Charlotte rematch. Not as epic as the R Evolution one but still good. Loved Sasha talking shit to Naitch lol and then him getting the dig in afterwards.

I don't think WWE knows what Brie is now. She's in that position that Alicia Fox was in for years in tag matches, face or heel depending on which side was short a woman that night.

I really dug Charlotte/Sasha and liked the new stuff they pulled out. I was actually hoping that Sasha would be the one to dethrone Charlotte so I hope we get a rematch.

It would be interesting if part of Punk's settlement with the WWE was influence over how AJ is booker for a period of time or what is said about her on tv.
I'm no fan of the AJ character but I dig her as a wrestler and it's gotta suck to still be with the company after all of this. Talk about an awkward locker room lol

Yea and they didn't even do a good editing job of it. It was all kinds of awkward. I'm guessing they didn't want her to come off too much like a face since apparently spoilers were describing it as a good babyface promo. But I really wish they had left it as is.

I actually didn't know that AJ was supposed to be a babyface. Nor should she be surprised that Brie distracted her in the match...a week after AJ kicked her in the stomach & hit her with a DDT.
AJ hasn't felt like a face since before she turned on Kaitlyn. Leaving Emma hanging is not something that a face should do. The AJ character is incredibly unlikeable and makes you root against her and not for her.

I was pleasantly surprised that the Divas tag got a decent amount of time. Like a lot of people, I was expecting a rush job. I thought it was decent, despite a few awkward moments. Glad to see Paige as last woman standing for her team and that Naomi got to finally take her out as she's pretty awesome.
And I am quite happy to see Nikki win the Diva's belt. I've been over AJ for a while now.

I've been an Ivelisse fan since her Shine work so I was pumped to see her in this promotion. I dug the match with Sexy Star. There were a few awkward moments but I especially liked the intensity and aggression.

I could watch episodes of a drunk Paige and Brie hanging out all day.
Man, that whole Alicia/Wade thing was painful to watch. it felt like probably one of the realest moments this show has ever had which is why it was probably so uncomfortable.
I miss Trinity and Jon though. They became my favorite WWE couple.
