Portnoy can EABOD... but not wrong.
Him being a Michigan fan has had me thinking that basic thing far too often lately.

Oh for sure. At least the end was slightly more interesting that I expected when it was 27-0.

The Dallas innovative "what if we don't cover a guy down field" defense is not working well.

JJ Mccarthy announced he's going to the NFL.
And unsurprisingly so did Blake Corum (who did technically have another year of eligibility because of covid but was pretty much known he was going pro all season. And, you know, "business is finished.")

So...do the Cowboys start considering looking for a new starting QB in the offseason?
Dak is so good except when he's not. Like, 12-13 games a year he's a top five, maybe top 3 QB. But when it goes badly...

Jedd Fisch to Washington. And the carousel spins on

Cam Ward has changed his mind about the draft, is headed to Miami. Big pick up for Mario.

I know it's only one year and lots can change, but damn does "Bryce Young over CJ Stroud" look like it has serious "Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan" potential.
I am so glad he didn't come back for one more year of college.

Live by the Flacco bomb, die by the Flacco bomb.

Roger chose the indoor game in Texas during what looks like a historically cold weekend for the NFL playoffs. Good decision.

Damn Buckeye overthrowing the Wolverine.

Oh my God a defensive stop

God damn this is turning into like a vintage Big XII or PAC-12 After Dark game.

Maybe I am reaching but would someone with the level of Tunsil even be playing special teams?
Do NFL teams usually take out the guards and tackles on kicking teams?

If someone had told me after Juwan Howard's first year how quickly I would want to see one of my childhood heroes fired I never would've believed them. Between his violent temper and off court behavior and the way he's collapsed the program... Hell even concern about his long term health.
I don't suppose Beilein wants to come back?

Tunsil being hurt is not good for Houston.

Hey a Michigan Wolverine just scored a touchdown in Houston. Something feels familiar about that.

I think Ohio wins the conference next year and ends the losing streak against Michigan.
Pending decisions from some Michigan players and a coach, I think right now Ohio and Oregon are the two obvious favorites in the B1G next year.

On a different note, Ohio State's early off-season is in a lot of ways looking a lot like Michigan's last year. The key portal pickups are bigger names at more noticable positions, but, MHJ aside, there's just been a parade of draft eligible players coming back for another year. I think a whole lot of guys don't want to leave without a single gold pants.

An intriguing idea I saw is that whichever young, smart offensive coordinator gets his first head coach job should consider hiring Carroll as his d coordinator, similar to how Sean McVay brought Wade Phillips in. A guy who can give advice and knows exactly what a head coach's job entails and has seen pretty much everything there is in football.

Never forget; Jokić was drafted during a Taco Bell commercial

Flawless victory.
Can't deny that the man does his job well.

So allegedly it's down to three names in Tuscaloosa: Kalen DeBoer, Mike Norvell, or Tommy Rees.

Thirty years of build up can do that.
