Still remember the latter, infamous that one. Another Leicester City player missed a penalty from the same shootout but the team rightly consoled him and left Yann Kermorgant alone. I haven't seen Silva's yet but it must be bad getting that comparison. Sorry Manchester City lost, Pete.

It was bad. He went right down the middle with nothing on it. Lunin literally didn't have to move.

  2. Way cool: Sela (Newcastle's usual shirt sponsor) donated their space to RNID and provided young deaf fans with special haptic shirts that vibrated with the crowd volume intensity at big match moments. Also, Burn signed "love the fans" after his goal.

  3. The Door County talk takes me back. Years ago I went to a wedding in Sturgeon Bay... Gina Schock (ex-Go-Go's) was performing with her band across the street from the reception hall, and we were going so hard that they all came over and partied with us after their show wrapped. 😃

Schertz takes the two hour drive down I-70 for the Billikens' gig. 6 years, $12 million, hot damn.

And it looks like he'll have some company on the trip.

    It was a good run...

  5. Something I meant to mention earlier re Makabe/Thatcher: I think there was one rope running spot in the entire match. Literally everything else was graps/strikes, so if that's your bag you know where to go.

The ICW NHB show from last night (that was head to head with the WWE HoF, ROH Supercard of Honor and GCW Spring Break), it's really good. Same building as DEAN~!!, 24 hours later, and bloody as hell. But unlike a lot of "Every match is a Deathmatch" shows, it's not got that monotonousness. Every match has been different.

Hoodfoot and Clint Margera were even doing limbwork! Strike the arm, twist the arm, stab the arm with glass. Lovely stuff.

At DEAN I saw some stuff under the ring like a bed of nails that made me fear for the rest of the night. That makes more sense seeing it was meant for a different show.

  7. Watching FITE this afternoon, he wrestled in the Progress opener at 3 pm and hauled ass to the Wrestling Revolver show like 90 minutes later. So he's already worked at least 5 matches in the last 24 hours, and I'm sure there has to be another show he snuck in. This motherfucker is EVERYWHERE, and more power to him.

Hopefully all of the wrestlers who are travelling in from other shows that just ended an hour ago aren't going to have any trouble getting to the building.

Can  we get this image on the front page of the website or something?

    ACTION Wrestling (@WrestleACTION1)

And then things began to evolve...

went to see local AHL team Ontario Reign this weekend fun game that they won 4-3. When I was a kid we would go see the Chicago Wolves (IHL/WHL) cause we could get 8 dollar tickets.

One of the refs took a puck to the face under his mask and got busted open, hope he's ok

I caught a Wolves game with my Bradley pal Brian ages ago. It was Scout Night so they had something like 16,000 in the building... just an amazing atmosphere.

It really is. And they just won so now we get to hear more lovely sound bites.

Those soundbites were going to happen no matter what. Since they won she's just going to be vindictive whereas shed've blamed the "distraction" if they'd lost. You know, the distraction of her Streisanding a non-story to the nth degree and forcing her girls to lose focus.

  12. Count the steps! It's fun! I don't know what event at Prudential forced the Hall to use Walsh Gym (capacity: 137), but I'll be damned if that isn't the atmosphere the NIT needs. Hell, make every school use their on-campus gym if they have one.

  13. To the Pittsburghs, St Johnnies and Oklahomas of the world: this is how you REALLY protest getting snubbed by the NCAA. Sycamores are now 31-6 after taking out SMU, Minnesota and Cincy and they will send half of Terre Haute to Hinkle for the NIT.
