I lost to Chris - who had one guy on bye and one guy get negative fucking points.
I already clinched a playoff spot but this still infuriates me
So confused, you didn't lose to Chris in our league, unless he is ignoring his teams in multiple leagues.

Saw a gif of the Ill Will/Chandler finish and it seemed like a bad stoppage. Chandler seemed to have signaled to the ref. for what seemed like an eye poke or something and Will jumped on him and got the stoppage. For those of you who watched this, who was winning until that point?
It was a great stoppage. There was no eye poke or anything. Chandler was totally out of it. I think he spiked himself. And it was close, I had Brooks winning.
Yea definitely a good stoppage. There was no eye poke, he just got knocked loopy and was confused as hell, then got hit a few more times without any defense.

I can't even blame the refs for this game, they did the Bills no favors but if the offense can't score a TD, they aren't winning regardless.

Funny that I don't remember Dolfan posting a lot last time the Dolphins played the Bills.... I guess a fan that is only visible when his team is doing well?

I wouldn't start Jennings since he he will likely be eased back into the rotation and he only had one really good game before he got hurt anyway. Ellington has done me good this year, scared of any Chargers players after their last game but ya gotta do what you gotta do.
Great ML - you're kinda screwed, since Jackson is inactive, neither NYG RB I think is a great play (hard to predict who may get the chance TD), and the Bills run D is solid. And Sproles isn't a starter. Roll the dice and pray for the best

There is no reason to go to the stores, I haven't had to do that in five or six years. Its all about online now. Amazon usually has really good game sales that change every few hours, looking forward to that. Annoyed all the PS4 deals are basically the same games packaged in, hopefully something different pops up.
I'd imagine it's cuz the PS4 has been pretty steadily moving fine at full price. It's the Xbones they need to blow out.
Yea I don't mind the price point, just don't want Last of Us (already played it on PS3) or GTA V (same). Rather have two games I haven't played already thrown in there.

What service are you using with it? Mine is coming in two weeks-ish, I am still debating what carrier to use. I currently am using a Verizon MVNO so I'll have to change. I think we live in the same geographical area, unless you moved at some point.

It is hovering around 80 at the moment on metacritic, which isn't bad. Not unusual for the first game on a yearly series to not be great when it moves to next-gen, and I am not sure how they worked out the writing/development/etc. but making two games at the same time couldn't have helped. I am sure it will be solid game, just not anything new or ground breaking.

I don't disagree with you, but what is 'right' is too subjective. You could poll 100 people and get probably 10 different ideas of what the 'right' thing is to do in any of these situations. We should just let Tabe decide everything, he seems pretty level-headed.

So two full Assassin's Creed games come out the same day next week. I am not silly enough to get them both, but I haven't read a lot about Rogue. It sounds like Rogue has gameplay more similar to IV while Unity is more similar to II/III. I have to note I find it really stupid they are releasing two games at the same time, you'd think that would hurt their overall sales than if they did one in the fall and one in the spring. Plus Rogue is being overshadowed since it is last Gen but honestly I loved IV and will probably like Rogue better.

I've now watched events from 24 different puroresu promotions for 2014, which is all the different promotions I've been able to track down. So far I have been enjoying New Japan the most, which probably won't surprise anyone, but this is the first time I've really sat down and watched full Joshi events and some of them are really impressing me as well. I'd recommend anyone looking to get into Joshi to this year to start with Stardom "Third Anniversary" on 1/26/14, a lot of good wrestlers and matches on that card. As far as indy events go, I think that the debut Fortune event was really solid and worth giving a watch.

I am afraid to turn on my PS4 until they fix the 2.0 rest mode thing. Poor PS4. It better be fixed before AC comes out next week.

Bills face the overrated Chiefs at home while coming off a bye.
If they want to end the drought, they need to make hay the next four weeks, because 1-3 over their last four is probably the best they can hope for.
Yea no kidding. At 5-3 the Bills have very little wiggle room, they have to beat the Chiefs/Jets/Dolphins of the world if there is a chance. Can't expect to beat the Packers/Pats/Broncos.

Disagree, first time offenders for this type of thing usually just get probation or community service, athlete or not. Way too lazy to look up statistics but this random non-famous person was on the first page of a google search so he will have to do as an example. Parents generally don't get thrown in jail for going too far with corporal punishment as a first time offense unless the child was almost killed/had serious injuries, I see it in the local paper on a regular basis.
The issue that AD has right now is that all this time, he was getting paid. If it had been a non-paid suspension, I'd say that he had done his time or close to it. But since he has been paid all this time he still needs a suspension, likely for the rest of the year. If this falls under the new domestic abuse suspension rule he should get six games anyway that would effectively end his season.

I am all for trading 'high' but I think Ben is still too much of a fluke. But there is probably some poor sap out there that is still starting Flacco, so you never know.

I guess I meant fade out gracefully, not still doing the "big announcement next week!" thing or potentially going to a much lower TV station. Just put on a big show in Nashville and call it a day.
