The XFL and the USFL are, reportedly, discussing a merger ahead of their 2024 seasons.
No idea what this would entail.

I wish I could justify dropping the money on an XBox to play this one. I'm not sure if my laptop is solid enough to play it and I'm not due for one of those for a while yet either, I don't think.

If WWE owns the trademark and copyright on the name “Edge”, he could do what Christian Cage did, and return to his pre-WWF name.
Sexton Hardcastle.
Why stop there? Go full MST3K/Dave Ryder and give him a new nickname every week.
"Sexton Hardcastle"
"Punch Rockgroin"
"Flint Ironstag"
"Bob Johnson". . .oh. . .

Oh shit, you know what? I can verify that FakeTaxi was a FakeTaxi because IT HAD NO CORPORATE LOGOS ON THE BACK. I was trying to tell what kind of car it was and what model and there was no little plastic piece or painted written logo. Everything was blacked out in the paint job for the obvious reasons.
Crazy
No, Crazy Taxi is an entirely different deal.

Johnny Hardwick, who voiced Dale Gribble on King of the Hill, has passed away at the age of either 59 or 64, depending on the source.
He really only had that one role but goddamit he acted the hell out of it.
That's just what the government wants you to think. </Gribble>
But man, that's awful. Had no idea he was that young.

Apparently Dan Campbell asked Detroit's owner Sheila Ford for permission to have a real lion on the sidelines as a team mascot.
Sheila declined, but only because the league wouldn't allow it. I cannot begin to imagine how well this could have gone.

I think this goes here. . .if it doesn't, feel free to move it.
The folks behind Wrestlequest, which was supposed to come out today, have announced that the game will now come out on 22 August. Apparently they found something during final testing that caused players to lose their save game progress while playing across multiple platforms.

There's not a snowball's chance that Reigns drops the title before Wrestlemania 40.
It's just a matter of who they're going to try to build up to put over him and whether or not they'll actually pull the trigger on it. . .but they're pretty rapidly running out of people.
I'd say GUNTHER, but I don't think the E has the stones for it.

Paul Reubens, who damn near everyone knew as Pee-Wee Herman, has passed away at the age of 70.

Hey, I finally made it through Act I of Diablo IV! Hooray for me!
Enjoying the heck out of it so far, honestly, save for a couple of bosses that have just pissed me off to no end.

The Arena Football League is making a "big announcement" one week from today, presumably having to do with the return of the league.
-
Well, this game is not going well for the Rockies.
It's 23-0, Angels. . .in the top of the fourth inning.

At my current pace I should finish Diablo IV right around the time that Diablo V will be ready to drop.
Though I will say that I switched from a Whirlwind Barb to a Hammer of the Ancients build and it seems to be going okay so far.

I'm making my way through Diablo IV now, though I'm not nearly as far along as a lot of you folks are. I'm at level 15-16 with my Whirlwind Barb (the classics are the classics for a reason), and I've gotten my ass kicked a bunch of times because of my general attitude of "sure, I can be surrounded by 10 enemies and fight my way out" regardless of what it is.
Still enjoying the hell out of it, but I'm one of those people who hits up every damn side quest he sees on the map before continuing on with the main story, so I don't know how long it's going to take me to even get through Act I, let alone anything beyond that. Definitely going to get my money's worth out of this one, methinks.

Dark Velvet seems to be working fine for me. I don't see any issues, anyway.

Rick Boogs is reportedly out, too, according to Fightful.
It would appear that the next purge has begun.
