  1. Thought followed by a question: I have a feeling that the ppv is being downplayed/not promoted because it's on a Friday night head up against Rampage which likely doesn't please WBD. Question: Why is the show on Friday and not Sunday so that wouldn't be an issue?

Former ROH title holders not signed anywhere but still active:

Low Ki, Austin Aries, Homicide, Michael Elgin, Amazing Red, Dan Maff, HC Loc, Tony DeVito, Charlie Haas, Bobby Fish, Marty Scurll, John Walters, Sumie Sakai, Kelly Klein, Tyler Bateman

Bully running a show with Aries, Elgin and Scuril would be so on brand for him.

Judges gave the attack high marks for it's technical proficiency and artistry but had to deduct points because Nassar didn't bleed out and die."

Wasn't Jericho's last book just a printed version of his diaries from every match he had?

Essentially yes as he kept a written record of every match he ever had. Funny thing is that it was self published after none of the publishing houses were interested and ended up being a smashing success selling out of multiple printings.

My big takeaway from the Cole/MJF shenanigans is that Max is going to be an INCREDIBLE babyface down the line once his heel well inevitably runs dry. The fans already love to hate him... he has personality to burn and enough flashy offense that he could slide neatly into that role with a little prodding, plus his instincts are off the charts at reading crowds and reacting accordingly. I also love that Cole is essentially forcing MJF to wrestle clean.

Watching last night all I could think is that this could end up being AEW's version of The Bloodline: a storyline that catches fire and causes business to soar.

They’re approaching the attendance of this year’s WrestleMania - individual nightly attendance, not combined obviously.

Both nights of Mania did 67.5K so this show is already 7K ahead of either night.

    All In ticket update

    Almost 75k tickets sold! 🤯🤯🤯🤯

To put this in perspective: This is almost double the biggest crowd in the history of WCW and easily the biggest by any company in history besides WWE (and no, I don't count Colision In Korea for reasons anyone more intelligent than an earthworm can figure out).

Adrian Adonis will be the next episode on July 11th. I can see why a cable channel wouldn't want to run original programming on the 4th of July, plus it probably would be a little too on the nose to run the Adrian Adonis episode 35 years to the day of his death.

The story surrounding his death is apparently going to be covered which will be the single most fucked up and depraved thing ever discussed on the show (and think of the ground that covers).

Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium will be fully paid off at by the end of the month which is 23 years early.

Why you might ask? Because the residents of Minnesota love to fucking gamble

It's a number that is completely meaningless in our end stage capitalism world where money has spiralled totally out of control, but when the Sens joined the NHL the expansion fee they paid in 1990 was $50 million lol

I don't understand how the least valuable franchise in Canada is worth nearly a billion but hey it only takes one idiot with more money than sense, I suppose.

If I had to guess the primary reason is the planned downtown arena that is eventually going to be built. UBS Arena is how the Islanders went from being among the least valuable teams to one of the 10 or so most valuable.

I really enjoyed BCC vs. Chaos. I'd like to see some involvement from Yano prior to Danielson/Okada. Danielson getting frustrated with Yano's antics would be so much fun.

The announcers did bring up OC pulling Swerve's tights, but @Elizium pointed out, it was super quick.

Swerve did the same thing to OC just prior so it was him getting his just deserts.

Yeah too late. They spiked when I looked this morning (around $140 for decent seats) to now you can't find even higher seats for under $300.

Also, there's a chance Messi doesn't play in Atlanta. Historically, your high profile guys that come over from European leagues tend to avoid playing on artificial turf stadiums.

I would be willing to bet that there is no chance in hell Messi won't play in Atlanta as the crowd will be near 70k and him not playing would be a PR catastrophe.

Former SF manager Roger Craig died today at the age of 93.

This now leaves Sandy Koufax and Carl Erskine as the final members of the World Champion '55 Dodgers.

His other claim to fame is as the starting pitcher in the first game in Mets history.

  14. Spare a thought for Partick Thistle: up 3-0 on aggregate in the 70th in their promotion/relegation playoff second leg vs Ross County only to concede 3 goals in 20 minutes and lose on penalties. Former NY Red Bull Josh Sims converted the winning penalty for the Staggies.

Interesting - so now the baseless speculation I'm sure shifts gears into who exactly blew the whistle and why - of course everyone's gonna assume it was Kenny/Bucks but it could have just as easily been a situation where legal said 'absolutely not'

The last bit makes all the sense in the world so expect the rabble online to dismiss it in favor of something completely farfetched.

MLS has officially added it's 30th team for... reasons

San Diego will begin play in 2025

Quality of play has gone to shit because of too many fucking teams so of course let's add another! My good friend Big Jake put it best: MLS is a Ponzi Scheme.
