Per Dave's notes on the best show award: Impact did improve significantly after sacking Russo but the biggest factor was 5 different WWE shows splitting the vote (remember this category is not a 1-2-3 one, only a single vote).

The incredible thing is that they went to ECW and by January were essentially huge babyfaces from that point on. If you were making a list of biggest babyfaces in ECW history New Jack is just about at the top of it. If he had not been a complete madman he would've been a huge star because his promos and charisma were off the charts, but it could be argued the fact he was a complete madman made him so believable as being violent and dangerous.

Rob Manfred stated that this will be his last term as MLB commissioner. His term will end January 2029
Other things from the couple of interviews he has given over the last couple of weeks
- He will be "disappointed" if the Athletics are not ready to move to Vegas for 2028.
- Related to that point - since the schedule for 2025 will be finalized in July, Manfred said the As have to have their location secured before then
- He wants to get all the TV rights figured out first before starting the process of expansion
- He thinks baseball should have a FA deadline (ie: you have to sign by a certain time) because of course he does
- He also thinks all the players will love the new uniforms. They just aren't used to them yet
I will be disappointed if Manfred doesn't move straight into the path of a speeding garbage truck.

Huh? What's the story here? I was under the impression Dragon Lee signed on his own.
Dragon Lee got the pin on FTR to win the AAA tag titles and then announced he was headed to WWE right after the match. They knew he was going to WWE and had him get the pin on an AEW headlining act that AEW clearly wouldn't have allowed had they known about that.

I was there. Game really wasn't as close as the score would indicate, Cats were tired later in the game due to playing the night before but you knew they would win. Given they are probably winning it all I hope they pick up Girgs or KO because they both deserve it.
Also: I'D GIVE ANYTHING TO BRING HIM BACK!
