    Wonder if Dolfan is here at YS tonight to see Miami FC? Decided to come because it was cheap and there are very few games of any kind that I can go to this month. @Pete I got a ski cap for you if you want it.

    I think you misspelled "New York State Taxpayers". I still think it's hilarious that everyone rants about how run down The Ralph is when compared to the dilapidated arena downtown it's SoFi Stadium quality and PSE/State don't give a shit. It's probably the worst arena in all of major pro sports.

    The Pitbulls vs Raven/Richards 2/3 double dog collar match was one of the greatest matches of the decade entirely due to the storytelling. Match itself was a bit sloppy at points but it was IMO Paul's greatest booking masterpiece culminating with 911 FINALLY chokeslamming Bill Alfonzo and the largest pop in ECW Arena history (I remember going crazy watching it at home on MSG as a kid and woke my poor dad up). They were actually the definition of carriable stiffs.

    Because it's the hip thing to shit on him (and yes some of that he's brought on himself ex: Extreme Reunion) people forget that Shane Douglas was actually pretty damned good in the ring until his body pretty much fell apart at the end of his ECW run in 1999 and as a heel was as good as anyone in the business. The angle where he shook Pit Bull I' s halo was one of the craziest and most heated things ever with fans literally trying to hop the guardrail to attack him. Another great irony is that he had several great matches with Pit Bull II (who wasn't exactly a great in ring guy) but the one on the PPV stunk out the joint and was their only bad one.

    ETH has been a revelation and it's a sight to see when a hardass gets back in the Manager's position and is willing to tell players where to fuck off if they won't get in line.

    If you want to go to the matches they are offering essentially a $199 season ticket that is the 17 regular season home matches with no Red Member benefits and you can pay in installments. Only catch is you can't forward the tickets so only you can use them. Even if I only get to 10 matches I still save $7 per match over the cheapest available single match pricing. For an average of less than $12 per game the price was too good to pass up (It's less than a Hartford Athletic season ticket. Seriously). It's also nice that the soda overlords are actually going out and signing young DP's with better resumes than the Celtic reserve squad or Norwegian 3rd division.

    People don't understand how good you have to be to pull that gimmick off. I've seen numerous indy guys do a version of it and it's like comparing a beer league player to McDavid.

    On a serious note I just hope the major announcement is in fact something major. The last thing Tony should be doing is hyping a "major announcement" that ends up being something that elicits groans because it just kills your credibility dead and when you do it again nobody will care.

    Announcers celebrating and endorsing fans throwing things onto the field is a very bad idea for reasons anyone smarter than a goldfish (or who watched mid/late 90's wrestling) could figure out.
