  1. I think the post match fireworks were funny. We needed the " Anonymous Showtime Boxing General Manager" to come out and book these guys in a match

Teddy Long to revamp boxing by introducing the Holla Holla Tag Team Match?

"Fury, I know you don't like Wilder playa, but you've got a Title match against Klitschko next month, so I'm going to put you and your British colleague Anthony Joshua in a TAG TEAM match in the main event of tonight's showtime boxing!"

  2. Dave Taylor proving, as if there was ever any doubt, that he is the man.  His Les Kellett stories were fantastic, particularly when he stood up to grumpy old Les and his stories towards the end are so quotable, especially with his northern accent.

"Listen, Ive worked with you 3 fookin times, you've knocked me out 3 fookin times, any more of that and thats fookin it!"

"Me and Regal just got up and left"

    "Sign of an arsehole!"

"I got attacked by 8 soccer hooligans in a pub, I got 4 then the police turned up"

"Whats an Avatar? Avatars that fookin film innit?"

One of the best Podcasts Ive listened to in years.

God save our gracious Dave Taylor! Long live our glorious Dave Taylor! God save Dave Taylor!

  3. Anthony Joshua v Dillan Whyte was everything Fury / Klitschko wasn't.

Action packed, chaos and run-ins after he the bell in the first round and an absolutely brutal finish. Get either of these guys in with Wilder, Haye or Fury and the heavyweight division could be quite exciting.

  4. I just hate that Charlotte's strut is below Jeff Jarrett's on the shittyness scale.

El Hijo del Jerry fucking Jarrett does the Fargo strut better than Flair's own kid. DAVID Flair pulled it off better.

There's a comment about the "stiffest Flair" ... but ... I like not being banned.

La Parka has the greatest strut in the history of our business.

  5. I agree with Tenryu and Tenta so much, until I started reading PWI I always assumed Tenta was a 'Fatty' ala Abdullah (who I'm also wrong on).

Tenryu is a guy who I skipped on tapes to get to Hase, Kobashi and Misawa and that seems like sin because about 5 years ago how awesome Tenryu is and I realised the awesomeness and figured how terrible I am!

I'd like to add Miz, Jesus, if there was ever a dude I hated who I turned on was him. Dude is perfect midcard heel.

Second off, lucha in general, so late on it all. Rush and lucha underground single handed changed my view on that.

Wild Boar, a small Welsh dude who made me realise, despite living Europe, that the wrestling over here is awesome. Also Big Damo, he is like a big Irish Brodie

  6. When Roman came in during Miz TV, all happy and fist pumping the crowd, I started giggling like a little girl. Granted, I'm a few brewskies deep, but still, if Roman can make my 35 year old ass giggle then the dude has something and I'm all in on him winning at Survivor Series.

Unless R-Truth somehow ends up with the belt, in which case I'm all in on that instead.

  7. Anybody who turned during Hogan's initial 4-year reign probably got wise to the idea that Hulk's friends weren't getting booked in main event title matches. And history has justified them all.

Hogan is the benchmark for justifiable heel turns.

Sid at Rumble 92 is another, "every man for himself" my ass.

  8. Alicia Fox seems like she would be a good opponent for Charlotte, the parts of the match where they interacted all looked the business and they gelled pretty well.  I've always thought Fox was under-rated in the DIva's division and needs a stand out run on her own.

  9. Having just moved into my new house and not having had much time to catch up on movies, Ive been catching up on Season 2 of The Strain each night in October.

The episode "Dead End" might be one of the creepiest episodes of TV I've seen in a while, sure it can be hokey but goddam was it fun.

Tomorrow night me and the other half are going to see Crimson Peak to stay on the Del Toro trip and then I've got my Halloween Havoc pick for Sunday.

  10. The Raven ep. was pretty good, will never get tired of Raven going off on a tangent about something then end up contradicting his initial viewpoint.

"ahhh work rate is so over rated and todays guys should get back to basics Steve, there's not enough charisma and selling in today's wrestling, you know Jake Roberts had all the gaga, and Ricky Morton too, he was one of the best at selling, but then Ricky Morton also had the work rate and the fire and so did Shawn Michaels and that's why today's wrestlers need the work rate"...

    Wonderful.
