Davey Richards in 2021 will seem tame compared to some of the stuff that’s on shows nowadays. I can imagine him saying
”5 apron head drop bumps in a match??? Back in my day we did 3 and we were thankful for it, kids these days, don’t even know how to work!”

No wrestler ever used a move called The Wristwatch, did they? You'd think someone would have at some point.
I feel like MJF needs to learn a crazy Lucha wrist submission and call it that.

But is he lazy?
A Kevin Nash Cat would be sooooi lazy. His paws have some of the laziest wrestling boots to fill.
The Maine Coon(?) named Nellie reminds me so much of the three furry mush machines I have had over the years. I only have pics of the latter two. I promise to return soon with pictures of my two current cats. I have shared home with 15 cats in total over the course of my 44 years. There were a few more but they just had a little kitty cup of coffee here in between whatever stops they made on their travels.
Very, very lazy. I was out in the yard yesterday and he lay behind me for 5 hours. Other neighbourhood cats came and went and he just stared at them.

100% Vince forgot Jericho left and will try to book him for Mania.

- Tajiri v Super Crazy from Living Dangerously 99 has had way too much influence on modern wrestling.
- IWA-MS - 2002 through 2005 is the most enjoyable period of any promotion I’ve ever watched. I’m not sure how much of that is down to Ian and how much is down to Mike Burns but it’s a period I go back to time and time again.
- I think Jim Cornette and Vince Russo worked themselves into a shoot, bro. I don’t believe the hatred was too bad to begin with, but each side acted more bitter as they got reactions from their respective ‘communities’. Fans have fuelled the flames to the point each side became more bitter and entrenched in their view. I think they would kiss and make up if an audience demanded it and they thought there was money in it.

Had to look up Dan Rodimer as I didn’t / couldn’t remember who he was.
Wikipedia says his first match ever was a win over Heath Slater. Poor Heath. He must have had kids to feed even back then.
Anyways, it’s Monday and I have that sinking “what dumb stuff is WWE going to do tonite” feeling.

WWE’s history is like wading through a sewer trying to find a lump of gold.
For every great match or promo you’ve got 100 things that are terrible or offensive or both.
This is a company that 18 months ago had the Jordan Myles T-Shirt controversy and here we are with Apollo walking about with a spear. I don’t think they will ever change without pressure from the TV companies who fund their bullshit.
The things they are removing is probably stuff 99% of us would never likely re-watch anyway.

For the record, Sid has to be inducted when they allow some fans back. 10 mins of him walking around, fist bumping people.
Sid T-Shirt idea
”no flip-bumps,
just fist-bumps”

Raven v Jericho - aka battle of the bootleg grunge themes.
Around this time Raven was my favourite wrestler in the world. I thought he was the coolest dude I’d ever seen. He then spent the next 10 years totally eroding that view (his ECW return to tag with Dreamer excepted).

Where's Matlock? Everyone knows if you wanna appease old people you show them Matlock.
Sid Vicious > Matlock.
Worse bass player but better powerbombs.

Felt so bad for Muhammad, that looked as sore an injury as I’ve seen. Hope he doesn’t have any issues other than the swelling.
Had instant Lawler v Funk empty arena flashbacks, when he was screaming “my eye”.

I took what Crews is doing as a knock off Black Panther/Killmonger sort of character.
I watched Coming 2 America on Friday before SD came on and my first thought when he came down the ramp was “oh no, oh god no”

I’m guessing Tessa Blanchard
Just catching up on Dynamite. Jade Cargill is really great, I mean, I don’t want to see her have 10 minute matches every week, but her character and look is outstanding.
Im also happy to continue to see Shaq as Zeus 2021

We only need one award. The Mark Henry award. The winner is Mark Henry. Every year. Occasionally Haku might win it, but mainly Mark Henry.

I approve of this signing and can’t wait to see the visual of Marko Stunt meeting Paul Wight.

Having never heard of JJ Garrett I had a quick google search to read up on him. My initial thought was that he has the most NASCAR sounding name ever.
However his Twitter handle is Thot Steiner and he previously used the name Buff Swagwell.

I own enough dusty IWA-MS tapes. The only thing that confuses me about no-crowd COVID shows is why the mat is so clean.
Oh boy that IWA:MS canvas was probably where Covid originated in the first place. Never mind bats in Wuhan, it was mats in Charlestown, In.
Circle of life, empty arena wrestling caused empty arena wrestling.

Not sure where to post this, as I’m not sure we’re “heavy” heavy metal, but pre-Covid your favorite drunk poster got his teenage metal band back together and we managed to knock out a 3 song EP somehow during a pandemic.
Hope you enjoy, if not tell me to F off!
I’m on the bass and vocals. The other songs should be on the same channel.
