The 3rd round in the main event was the craziest thing I’ve seen in years. Thought it was a great show top to bottom. I feel like every show in front of a big crowd since lockdown has been great.

Usyk outclassed Joshua. Joshua spammed the jab all night and hardly threw any big shots. Usyk was seconds from a KO at the bell in the 12th.

You create your AEW name by taking the first name of a random AEW wrestler, and then add the surname of another different AEW Wrestler.
My NXT would pretty much be my shoot name. I’m named after my maternal grandad and my surname is a verb! Suppose I could be Jim Fast.

Brooks Jensen is bad but only in a boring way. The women seem to have gotten off a lot easier, overall -- the only really awful name that leaps to mind (and is ancient at this point) is Kelly Kelly.
Oh lord, just realised that Bronn Brekker will just be “Brekker” when he gets that main roster call up. Can’t have Bron when Braun has already been there!
Brooks Jensen is such a 80’s radio DJ name. “Welcome to 107.1 The Breeze, I’m Brooks Jensen and this is Toto with Africa”

Hook doesn’t even need to wrestle full matches. Teach him 4 suplexes and a tazmission and he’ll be fine. He looks great, if he’s even half as good at trash talk as his old man then that’s a bonus.

Yeah Miro coming in was kind of the death knell for Cage.
But also being put next to Ricky Starks really made him look like the charisma vacuum that he is. Then when Hobbs is added to the mix you have another big, jacked guy who is younger and more intense and intimidating looking than Cage, it’s no surprise he has kind of got lost on the mix.

With all the AEW names talk, it seems a moot point as 99.9% of the roster uses their Indy / non-wwe gimmick & name anyway?
Will Hobbs becoming Powerhouse is the only one I can think of where there has even been a slight change to an existing name / gimmick.
