  1. As far as earlier PPV's go, I'm guessing Full Gear '21 is a no-brainer, but what are the other overall best value for money shows AEW has produced? For now, I'd only be interested in the most top shelf, top to bottom greatest shit they've got. What would those be?

If you buy the PPV on Fite early, you get more Fite credits than if you wait to the last minute. And you can spend Fite credits on Fite to get free shows, if you save up enough.

I already have some credits upon subscribing for a year and some other extra for whatever reason. I'm not sure if there's enough for a free PPV yet, but I'd imagine there would be after ordering Revolution. I need to see some of the matches actually announced before I do that, though.

Apparently, I had more than enough credits already! I just purchased Revolution, because why not?

  3. Why does it seem like every year after Royal Rumble, the fans are at their most disappointed at the booking/ overall quality? Every year WWE seems to fuck it up. Sometimes they correct it by Wrestlemania, sometimes they don't, but fucking up Royal Rumble seems to be the rule rather than the exception!

  4. Over the weekend, Finland's South and West coast were supposed to be hit by a vicious snowstorm and rough winds. Warnings were issued. At least over here on the West coast, things ended up being not that bad. Yes, we spent an hour plowing snow off the yard on both days, but nowhere near as bad as after Christmas. This morning, the roads were ok. Bike lanes not great, but I've already had worse this year, so whatever.

Haven't read the news about the South coast yet so I can't tell you if they had it rougher than we did? Seems like we may have dodged this particular bullet.

    lowes or home depot probably.

I'm being totally serious too.  I remember marking out when Home Depot had the Mechanix gloves Sting wore in 1997 WCW

Yeah, I finally found Mechanix gloves from a hunting section of a local sporting goods store over here! Sadly, they weren't the padded ones Sting had. But I bought a pair right then and there!

Before going into the match with Roman,  Was Seth a babyface?

I thought this was the best thing on the Show. I thought that this was the Rollins we should have been seeing for years. I know thus is just a side feud for Roman in between time for WrestleMania but I think It should be fun to see them Wrestle again. Seth for a while has come off pretty lame and mainly because of booking but he kinda got fresh again with the drip God deal but him in the Shield gear got him over with me again and the way he worked the match aggressively

I haven't seen much of the build, but I kinda assumed it was heel vs heel, though at the end of the match Rollins sure seemed like the face to me!

  7. Better show than I figured.

The curtain-jerkers gave us quite the bomb-fest and Rollins comin in The Shield gear was a nice touch. I'm a sucker for stuff like that and it harkens back to my childhood when I was 35 and The Shield was a new thing. Roman got some catharsis with the chair, but couldn't beat Rollins the way he has beaten everyone else.

The women's Rumble is pretty much always more intriguing than the men's one. There were more than a few cool things, including:

-Mickie James eliminating McCool for old times sake.

-Nikki ASH going batshit on Mighty Molly for gimmick infringement.

-Summer Rae and Charlotte interacting. BFF explodes!

-Brie Bella's impromptu homage to Connor the Crusher upon entering the ring, as well as avenging her previous elimination at the hands of Nikki.

    - No contact between Shayna and Ronda. Well, the winner was clear as soon as Ronda entered.

Becky vs Slopdrop ended up being one of the best matches of the evening with a clean pinfall ending. Niven's performance was really good but it's not as if she was winning.

The Mixed Tag between the It Couple and the Git Couple (or The Cousin Itt Couple) had the three way MVP battle between Maryse's outfit, Maryse and Beth's amazing hairdo! If you are one of the people who gets Peacock for free, Maryse's outfit alone was worth the price of subscription!

The Brock vs Lashley video package was amazing and the match started out really promising, but it's a very WWE thing to do, to reduce a LEGITIMATE dream match 15-years in the making into an angle advancement. At least Lashley is the champ again!

I haven't finished the Men's Rumble yet, but the highlight so far is Gable's plan to eliminate Omos actually working, eventually.

  8. Everything was fun! Looks like Rosa may be rid of Martinez by Revolution one way or the other!

Have FTR and Jurassic Express had a match yet?

Julia Hart's performance makes one appreciate Anna Jay more, but I think what she did was ok.

Main event was cool! That Doomsday Device flipping powerslam was insane!

Bowens looks really good and his build is solid, like a young, smaller Cena. Just as I thought of that, he even tried to use a damn chain!

The "I'm Arn! No I'm Arn! Wait am I Arn? Or are you?" spot in the FTR match was ace!

Ass Gunns interfering after the main event had better set up that 6 man before a tag title match! Here's to hoping that I can look anywhere near like a natural version of Billy Gunn when I reach 65 or whatever he is at this point! His '93 self is looking at him going "what the fuck did I do to myself?!?"

I mean her next big challenger for PPV should be Thunder Rosa.

Do you figure Mercedes Martinez has her issue settled with Rosa before Revolution? I kinda figured Statlander would be next, but she's probably tied up with Hirsch for the time being. In fact, isn't it Hirsch now the one who should be facing Britt, as she just beat Red Velvet, who I hear is ranked #1?

...oh, and Hayter seems more and more like she's not all in with Britt right now! Turning?

This may be the least excited I've ever been for a Rumble.  Maybe because a lot of my favorites have gone to AEW, maybe because the mystery of "will Punk be a surprise"  is now gone.  Maybe because the winner STILL doesn't get to main event Mania, especially with it now being 2 nights.

Hell the only thing that's for sure about winning  the Rumble is that you won't be released until after April

The whole night is all about Brock vs Lashley. That's all.

The finish to the main was definitely Couch Tony (keeping the mistake) thumbing his nose at everyone who moaned about the end of the Wargames match.

That did look distinctly similar, as I just watched Blood and Guts the other day. Yeah, it did look like it happened like that on purpose.

So am I alone in thinking that, when Danhausen's broken leg is fully healed and he's ready to get back in the ring, the match to make is Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn vs Danhausen & Billy Gunn?

Hell yes! Bring on Ass Boys vs Asshausen! But the three Gunns must first wreack havoc together for a bit more!

    antiwork reference?

Danhausen just needs to make people love that Danhausen and not be in the ring too much.

Yeah, had fun watching that dumpsterfire just starting last evening at work and had no idea how fast it would escalate once I went to bed. Saw a chance for a punchline, and went for it!

Red flag? Does Danhausen have a Commie gimmick now?

Far from it, but PURE evil, I assure you! Just the other day, he convinced a moderator of a recently popular subreddit, that a live TV interview with real mainstream news outlet would be a fantastic idea. As it turns out, nope! One should be very wary of inviting evil such as that into their presence!

Haven't seen the film, but am I correct in suspecting they're shouting out the realest if not the darkest/scariest side of the dark/scary facepaint?

On this topic, I missed whatever happened with House of Black tonight (where was I?), but last week, I got the vibes that Pac was the real Lord of Darkness, having mastery over the wicked by being "incorruptible." Fuckin loved that. Haven't seen a lot of Pac but how long has he been running with superhero vibes? I know he came in as The Man that Gravity Forgot, which is relatively convoluted for pro-wrestling, but it seems like the gimmick has infinite running power if he's legit god-level demon slayer.

PAC hasn't always been superhero, but he has been pretty much superhuman all along. "King of the Cruiserweights" and "The Man who's Parents forgot to get Married" isn't exactly superHERO material, but if you are looking for a slayer of just about anything, demons included, I'm sure PAC's your guy!

  16. That cutter by Sammy, tho! Crazy opener! Wow!

Layla Hirsch vs Ivy Nile is quickly becoming another unattainable dream match for me.

Apparently, I'm one of the many co-TNT Champions now. Just like with Cody, previously, Sammy, you don't even know me! Stop pandering.

2.0. really get to do stuff, but here, they had no chance. Will this lead to the end of Inner Circle, finally?

It is a bit odd that Wardlow was willing to powerbomb Punk on that chair at the behest of people who snubbed him on his birthday, but I'd think that was the last time he'll agree to it. Duelling promos were good.

PAC&Penta vs Black & King? Don't mind if I do! And make it a double!

C'mon Cole, did you have to DRAG Danhausen into this?!? Great main event, excellent show!
