Yeah denying Enzo wasn't this charismatic juggernaut hardly seen since the heyday of the attitude era is plain dumb

Not sure I'd go THAT far...

I couldn't begin to count the number of people over the years we've seen in behind the scenes clips or press material be 100% more charismatic than they appear on television and someone says, "If only ______ was allowed to be like that on the actual shows."

Enzo made the most of his spot and got it over, but it only seemed novel because of the way most of the roster is presented now.

Disregarding that he's not good in the ring and is apparently a wretched person, I'm still not convinced that this was a lightning in a bottle scenario.

I entirely agree that there have been any number of talents who can be more charismatic then they've shown. Think of pre-New Day Big E.

But the relative infrequency of such who've been able to thrive in WWE's overly-scripted main roster can't be ignored.

I guess a part of it is that Enzo was one of the most over wrestlers to come out of NXT/performance center that wasn't a name somewhere else first. He was an affirmation that the new feeder system was working.

But he wasn't special. They have a team of writers and dozens of wrestlers. Just give any one of them some shit to say in repetition to the crowd and they'll get it over. It's like they don't remember in their beloved Attitude Era when everyone got their shit in on the mics before matches and even if they're matches were shit they were way over.

Let's not start spouting nonsense just because we (justifiably) don't like Enzo. He was a big, unique personality whose mouth got him and his big buddy over in spite of some pretty massive shortcomings. He moved merch, most of which was hilariously ugly, because of that.

He is also a terrible wrestler and a worse human being, and he's obviously not indispensable.

She did put her hair up mid-match and tell Sasha to square up, but I hope they don't change her around too much. She's been one of my favorites lately.

That was so awkward. Like, why are you, the serious, no-nonsense ass-kicker, screwing around with your hair mid-match?

So it appears they are going to finally air that Straight to the Source with Enzo that they have teased for like a month.

Based on the clip they uploaded - Enzo appears to have done the interview in character (well you know what I mean since clearly the WWE character is just Enzo turned up) which is different than the first one with Reigns.

Corey Graves looks less than pleased to be there

Jesus, they haven't gone that far out of their way to make someone look like a genuinely horrible person since The Rise and Fall of the Ultimate Warrior.
