Sorry, dude, I don't have time to check it out right now.  But me personally I try not to pay too much attention to stuff like that and see what what happens come show time.  I do know that with a lot of released WWE talent now being free it could be anybody from there.  Who that would be unlike you I don't know (see what I did there?)

Ok everyone...listen to the last 4 minutes of the tape.

I just listened to it again and I got some of it wrong. Moxley is talking about a huge surprise and it will excite the hardcore fans who follow the business worldwide but then was about to express why causal fans will get excited but got interrupted by the host of the show.

I don’t think this your typical BS...this is something Moxley is pumped for in a big way.

Maybe something to do with New Japan Wrestler or the organization itself?

Please give it a listen (very last 4 minutes) and put down what you think. Thanks.

Well, I'll be damned he was right.  I don't have time to listen to it but here's the link to the page if y'all want to check it out.  http://www.espn.com/espnradio/podcast/archive/_/id/9941853

    Thanks for the link.

    What do think?

It sure seemed to me Moxley was genuine in his expressive excitement over this surprise happening tomorrow night. But maybe I’m getting fooled. Would love to know what you all think this could be about.

  3. Did anyone of you listen to Moxley on ESPN’s Dan Lebatard (spelling?) show this morning?

There was a point late in the interview where Moxley got all excited and repeated 3 times that there was going to be a huge surprise on Wednesday night which will help hook casual lapse wrestling fans to AEW. Moxley said he wasn’t going to give the surprise away but it will be a huge surprise. The excitement from Moxley seemed very genuine.

Off hand I can’t really think of a surprise which would fit Moxley’s description other than a Sting appearance. If this ESPN interview with Moxley pops up anywhere before tomorrow night I will copy it on to this thread.

With Orange Cassidy's newfound power to bring forth a downpour of orange juice at will, given the enterprising folks at AEW (especially the Demogod himself), surely it's only a matter of time before OC and Jericho get on the same page, team up and we are introduced to a 'Little Bit of the Freshly Squeezed' pre-mixed mimosa?

Then once Cardona debuts, he brings out the some god-awful Long Island Iced Tea, then FTR with a manly beer then Page with a bourbon. They could go from T-Shirt company to beverage company in no time.

Anyway, I'm all for Miro coming in and wrecking stuff, however with the record of the previous recently-debuting physically-imposing gentlemen (Cobb, Brodie Lee, Brian Cage) I wouldn't rate his chances challenging Moxley.

It’s just another reason why they can’t bring on Miroslav as another big man heel.

  5. Shadow’s note to Mr. Tony Khan:

Please bring in/debut Miroslav as a face and have him destroy Cody in an open challenge for TNT Championship. This destruction of Cody makes Cody do full turn and ushers in new “4 horsemen” with FTR and Spears/Tully/Arn.

Miroslav as a face who starts out as dominating face who believes in justice..yada..yada....who begins his AEW career destroying Cody is all gold.

    Do it Khan. Do it.

  6. Have any of you noticed Spears is not a part of any match or announced segment in part 1 or 2?

Its because Tully and Spears will make their presence known when Nyla Rose “in action” goes against Tesse Blanchard on July 8th.

All the bread crumbs....the Shadow always knows...

  7. Night 2 of Fyter Fest:

    Nyla Rose in action.

    Nyla Rose in action??

    Nyla Rose in action!!!!

You all know what this means right??!!

AEW keeping this slot open for Tesse Blanchard!!

How do I know you ask?

  8. Double or Nothing ends with a stare down between Jericho and his bat “Floyd vs Sting and his black bat....somewhere in the Football Stadium...or possibly...Jericho standing on the Football field holding his bat as Sting shows up on the big TV/scoreboard with a short statement holding his bat.

But either way it will start the buildup for Jericho vs Sting for 1st time ever at the next AEW PPV.

  9. I need to apologize...I was wrong.

    I have received new information.

    The details have been clarified.

Okada is not in country. Okada is not the Mystery Man.

I repeat, Okada is not the Mystery Man.

    I have been told by a source...we will call him...Horsemen’s Shadow..the following:

*MJK gets pinned by Jungle Boy after Wardlow accidentally hits/costs MJF the match. MJF yells at Wardlow..etc.

*Wardlow is announced as the Mystery Man and wins the Casino Chip.

*MJF is shocked and angry at Wardlow for not telling him he was entered into the latter match.

This all leads to Wardlow turning face as AEW seems him as a young huge massive face star at the level of what Hangman Page is now becoming. MJF, with Tully, Arn, FTR and eventually Tessa Blanchard...eventually beat down Wardlow in the not so distant future. AEW needed one of their big boys to turn face and Wardlow is the right guy.

The source of the info..”Horsemen’s Shadow” has convince me 100% Wardlow is the Mystery Man for Saturday night.

Again...I apologize for the Okada steam...it’s too early. Not yet. Not yet.

    My bad.

Just check every burger joint in the Jacksonville area. I’m sure a hick would know if a huge Asian man with blond hair picked up a double from Five Guys.

Is this the new “Undertaker Sightings” of today?

Okada is under quarantine...until showtime this Saturday.

    Its happening.

  11. AEW is not announcing Okada for DON PPV because of the hurdles Okada has to go through to actually perform on May 23rd. “Mystery Man” is the perfect angle to put Okada on the card if he passes Covid-19 tests coming from Japan.

1 year ago Okada professed to watch Double or Nothing and he said it was fantastic. Okada and Jericho did a match together in Japan right after Jericho pinned Omega and right before Jericho became AEW Champion. Jericho put Okada over....and now Okada will come to AEW, with New Japan approval, and have his moment in the United States and win the ladder match. Okada will do the Dynamite show on May 27th and go back to Japan. Okada getting a AEW world title shot sometime down the road when we have crowds again. Okada vs Jericho, Okada vs Omega or Okada vs Moxley is probably what’s in store.

New Japan had to come back to the table with Tony and Kenny. New Japan needed to create a partnership with Tony Khan to help ignite New Japan’s reach in the United States. Covid-19 was the disaster that created the opportunity.

When you do something like this....when you finally seal the deal on this epic, change the world type of deal...you go big. You go as big as you can.

    Okada.

    Is here.

  12. Kazuchika Okada is under quarantine in Florida.

Okada has come to the United States to cement NJPW and AEW’s future...together.

    It’s happening.

Okada will win the Ladder Match and will return back to Japan after Dynamite’s May 27th show.

Khan & Omega finally got the deal done...a partnership with New Japan.

If you don’t believe me..well....go ask the Meltzer’s of the world if they can confirm Okada’s whereabouts in Japan.

    They can’t.

    Okada is in the USA.

  13. Tony Khan and Kenny Omega got him!

    You know who....

The Mystery Man will change the wrestling landscape.

Much like Ric Flair winning the Royal Rumble in 1992 as the 3rd....

    You know who it is..

    You all know.

AEW proclaimed they were going to change the wrestling world.

    They will on May 23rd.

  14. “Wednesday's Dynamite episode drew 732,000 viewers.”

    It happened.

AEW Dynamite drew within 1 million of WWE RAW.

Soon AEW Dynamite will draw within 900,000 viewers.

    ....800,000 viewers.

    ....700,000 viewers.

  15. “1.686 million viewers on the USA Network”

Ok, so your beloved Flair’s Shadow was a bit off the mark last week in projecting AEW Dynamite would come within 1 million viewers of WWE RAW for the first time since AEW Dynamite debuted.

However.....with RAW yet hitting new all time lows in viewership my projection of last week will happen this week.

AEW Dynamite will no doubt get over 686,000 viewers for tomorrow nights show.

    How do I know?

The Shadow always knows...well.....maybe 1 week ahead of schedule...but you know.

    Hey Vince,

The object in the mirror may be closer than they appear.
