I remember watching Shaft on TBS, and watching a scene between Bale, and Wright. I was thinking the whole time that this was great dialogue. Almost felt like I was watching a Tarantino film. Then it turned to a scene with Sam Jackson’s Shaft, and I was like “wooooah”. I couldn’t believe that this remake/sequel of a Blaxploitation film wasn’t just some quick cash grab. They really put a lot of workmanship into making it a respectable film.

I forget... What was the reason that Raven got to be a part of a few ad campaigns for WCW's licenced products during that period?

Sam Jackson, Christian Bale, and Jeffrey Wright had crazy protagonist / antagonist charisma.
After that and American Psycho, I thought that Bale would be typecast as psycho yuppie villains for the rest of his life and then BOOM~!, he reinvented himself overnight with The Machinist and Batman Begins.
Well half true...

Seems like it would be a much better idea to book the RAW Tag titles like they give a shit about them instead of flooding the already overcrowded title scene with another meaningless strap.
I know... I know... Still when Hunter gets the book I have a feeling those belts will be a top priority. ...And when they clean that mess up they should consider adding US tag belts. Old ass JCP/NWA has taught me that while too many singles belts are a bad thing, a second set of tag belts actually helps things when you have more than two great teams.

There are a lot of underutilized wrestlers, and tag teams in the WWE. Would it be awful to suggest that there should be secondary tag belts on both brands ala the US Tag Belts? The Revival definitely need to be featured in a long reign, and I don’t see them being positioned for that on either show. Maybe they don’t do belts on both shows. Maybe instead they could do a Million Dollar Belt situation where they create their own “Revived Tag Team Championship” belts that look like the old belts. Then defend against teams that aren’t currently competing for the main tag belts.

I love Dick The Bruiser, he reminds me of Spike from Tom and Jerry
It’s so rare to see a clean pinfall in Pre-Misawa Army All Japan. Especially one that doesn’t have a wrestler kicking out 0.1 second after the three count.

Pierce Brosnan looks like a middle aged Pierce Brosnan, unless you're watching The Long Good Friday.
You should probably watch The Long Good Friday. It's a classic.
I play the theme tune everytime on my phone when I enter an airport.

I really loved the Sam Jackson Shaft movie. A very very criminally underrated crime movie.

Happy that they are going with a time jump.

So there was like ten women on the stage, and Steph said all of them deserved a title shot. And then announced an eight woman gauntlet. Do Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan Tyler Jericho not count for some reason? Or does the fact that they came out holding their stomachs mean they were 'injured' by going through tables the night before? Because Ruby want through a table too and she was good to go.
This is the first time I've watched a 3 hour RAW. It's usually on Sky Sports Action (which costs extra) but it was on Sky Sports Mix (which is included in my package) instead. Took me two and a half days to get through it. Don't know how you lads put up with it every week. Usually I just watch the one hour highlights show and that's enough. The full length version is very pedestrian. You know those Triple H legendary matches, where he has a twelve to fifteen minute match that goes thirty minutes because they spend a bunch of time laying around not doing anything? That's what RAW's like. It's a 2 hour show that somehow takes 3 hours.
It also hangs around after for five minutes waiting on the ovation for all the hard work.

Vince: Hey, pal!
Ali: Hey, Mr. Mcmahon.
Vince: Call me, Vince!
Ali: Sure Mr. Mc... I mean Vince!
Vince: HAHA... Hey, kid, have you seen Aladdin?
Ali: Yeah, of course I’ve seen it.
Vince: Really? I just saw it for the first time on TV.
Ali: Oh no...

NXT is kinda like high school. While you’re there, you can’t wait to graduate and move on, but you end up looking back at all the good times you had back then.

I always liked when Will Forte’s Ted Turner would bring up building his empire on finding abandoned wrestling tapes behind a DQ.

Oh my god... Whoever fucked up Scott like that probably had their shoulder broke in half.

Ahhhhh fuuuuuuuuuuck...

Has anybody tried this? I’ve never been a table top RPG kind of nerd, and I wanted to try something familiar to start with.

Those games were so great for their time! Graphics were incredible, each guy had so many unique animations, and the actual gameplay while not perfect was very good compared to the majority of their peers.
And how can you hate a game with the wonderful Hakata Star Lanes venue?
That’s true... Star Lanes is a very underrated wrestling building.
But I could never understand the controls. ....And while it looked beautiful, the long animations coupled with the confusing mechanics really dragged it down.

I’ve seen it in retro shops, and thinking of getting it just for completionist sake. I mean I own those awful All Star Wrestling games made by Square.
