This reminds me when I used to tune into Bodyshaping on the Duce just to watch the Kathy Ireland episodes.

If you decided to Marathon a whole bunch of 80’s WWF shows a few years ago like me, you’d realize that nobody jobbed clean ever back then. The best you’d get is a guy slipping on one banana peel before taking a pin.

There has never been a more forgettable belt than the NXT North American championship. I mean it was a nice try, but a secondary belt doesn’t work in a brand that has a high chance of roster turnover.

I believe both were for torn pecs that weren't surgically repaired?
Jericho, or Kofi?

Am I the only one noticing Kofi's chest?
Edit: Meant to put this in the Fastlane thread.
That he has a bird chest? Yeah I’ve noticed that for a long time. My friend in school had one too. It freaked me the fuck out one time. Because we were horsing around, and my hand slipped into that area. For 2 two seconds I thought he had a hole in his chest. But then he told me about what that was exactly.
Kofi’s isn’t as bad though. Jericho sort of has one as well.

Best Taker Mania build ever. Diesel was stayed a tweener around this time, and the booking reflected that. Diesel did some heel-ish stuff, but it was a very respectful cat, and mouse game between the two. It sort of became the template for Takers Maina feuds after this.

Watching a few High Energy squashes on the Network.
I wish they'd given Koko B Ware a crackhead gimmick during the end of the High Energy run. Portray it as a Saved By The Bell style After School Special type deal when it's revealed Koko has pawned a heap of Hart family memorabilia to pay for his habit...only to hit rock bottom when he's forced to sell the services of Frankie to Jimmy Hart for a hit.
Those Bird Bird Bird videos are tremendous
Wasn’t that essentially going to happen to “Make A Difference” Fatu before they abandoned that angle?

I guess I'm just glad to see them really go with someone, anyone after years of not going with anyone. They did NOT do that with Reigns. Most of his booking was abysmal and did not have him looking super strong, no matter what people might have complained. There's a reason why there were plausible political hit theories. Brock's an exception but he's been treated more like an attraction, not even like Andre but like wrestling Bruno during the Hogan years.
I wonder if they are only doing that because to them “She’s just a woman” that can’t become an action leading lady in the movies like Cena, or The Rock could.

Yup, Japanese flag influenced as I expected. It’s very WWF of the 90’s, with appealing to the image of Red, White, and Blue USA, but you don’t see enough Japanese promotions try this. I think this is a great look honestly. I’ll miss the Misawa-Era colors, but it was time to escape that tragedy of both the legacy of a promotion that didn’t meet its promise, and the in-ring death of its owner. New belts should be the next move to signal a new era.

When did Crow Sting start talking again, after the long silent period that followed the "only thing for sure about Sting" promo?
Was it when he first came back with the original white face paint that didn’t cover his face?
Edit: Yup...

Bundy is one of those guys you were shocked was still alive. 1) Because of him being a big dude, and 2) he looked a lot older than he actually was.
Edit: Also people will bring up Married With Children a lot, but let’s not forget the underrated Richard Pryor film Moving.

You can fire her and still offer to pay for her rehab, no? If true, she can't wrestle at this point.. what other female is going to trust Fox to take care of them physically in the ring? If she goes through rehab and comes out with flying colors, then you can consider re-hiring her.
I can’t believe any other woman trusted her with that scissor kick in the first place.

They show up for work sober.
Still their drinking escapades have me thinking they need to be sent a message to lay off the sauce. But then I think they may be afraid to do that again after what happened to Jamal.

Hot take, Arn deserved to be fired. Anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong and a bad person. I have spoken!
Maybe, but then again the Usos are the tag champs.

Jesse was smart enough to see the writing on the wall with Hogan’s hire. Vince was able to keep Hogan in check, Eric on the other hand, not so much. Would’ve been interesting if he stayed around during the Monday Night Wars. Maybe he would’ve been in Zbyszko’s role bashing the NWO.
Oh God, that would’ve been amazing. Way better than Zbyszko’s “New World Oder”. ...And we know for fucks sure in the past 5 years Jesse legit was always suspicious about the New World Order.
