Later on, his watch started talking to him. Hence all the "Do you know what my watch is saying? It's saying it's time for you to shut up! What? Shut up! What? You shut your mouth!" promos.
Yup, I remember now. That’s the segment where Rock & Stone Cold’s singalong catchphrase arms race went too far.
Whoever green lit the damn shirt the following week should be found, and jailed today this instant.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe it was that "Austin Appreciation Night" that Steph threw? That was probably after Austin regained the title from Angle?
That was the only positive part of the entire “Alliance” gimmick. Wrestlers singing “Wing Beneath Our Ring”, and Angle with a milk truck. It’s a shame in retrospect that the “Silly Austin” heel gimmick was probably dragged down by the botched Alliance plot.

so we missed out on a Stone Cold/RVD birthday party segment on a December WWF show?
They probably had something there with the Stone Cold/RVD dynamic during the Invasion and they didn't really do anything with it, did they?
I swear there is an Alliance segment where RVD shows up late to a Christmas party, and upsets Austin.

Ironic, considering it’s whacking day.

I like more Deeb exposing the turnbuckles undergarments that prevent us from seeing its bulge.

I think we need to realize the youths are all gone. Only thing that can get them back is maybe this controversy with Blood Hunter attempting to give strangers Hep-C.

Yes, that was the highlight. Sadly they didn’t take the bait, and get upset at this old man, and his obscure controversial takes.

I can’t imagine that MJF is not the Champion by the end of 2022. That is unequivocally the correct end to the Page reign. MJF feels like the man who will lead AEW for the next decade. Danielson will put Page over most likely, but he’ll stick around as the grumpy vet that opposes the lack of virtues from MJF, and his future reign. Maybe also teach MJF to work a tighter chain wrestling sequence too, before ultimately putting over Friedman.

That angle is something me and my friends still talk about to this day and was exceptionally well done. I think William Regal was fine.
I mean I love it too. Anytime they’d do an angle that cuts into the commentary team discussing the proceedings with Tony tapping his ear, and saying “Hold on a second I just got word of something bad happening”, or they received a mysterious tape with something on it, is my favorite part of Nitro rewatches. But it must suck for the performers that get thrown to the wolves to fill 3 minutes of time. Though rewatching again it’s clear somebody loved Regal too, because he’ll have a 14 minute TV Title match with Psychosis where the fans are 100% behind Nicho randomly.

Yeh on this weeks Way of The Blade. Nay on The Masked Man. You being on there was my only excuse to listen to it. Not my flavor of podcast these days.

Going into the title fight, having read many finish ideas, they pulled one out that was unexpected and brilliant. I'd be on board with the Hangman draw is a mistake had they not had him hit that incredible buckshot making it plainly obvious he was about to win. One of the best finishes this company has ever done. So many ways to go from here.
That said, some concerned chaos post match might help sell these draws. I'd love to see two medical teams checking on each of the competitors. Maybe even full on Rocky I/II and pay top dollar for a Bill Conti score. Lastly, just a reminder, when you start with the main event there's opportunity for updates on said match throughout the rest of the show (see any classic SNME), and they'd be smart to do that. A simple update outside the wrestler's dressing room, a nice highlight package of said match in hour 2 etc.I agree with this. There seems to be a lack of inspiration in modern wrestling productions, and when you see inspiration it’s crummy low budget Marvel comics special effects. We’ve fallen so far from WCW being inspired by CNN coverage of domestic bombings when doing angles like the MGM Studios attack. But I also realize they are on a strict time limit with TV, and a card that they need to deliver. So any extra coverage could cut into a match like WCW would to a Steven Regal match because they need that extra time to show The Outsiders run the Steiner’s off a dirt road outside of Atlanta.

Nice Stunning Steve Austin gear by MJF.

Punk is also suffering a bit by being in his own world too, to be honest.

That plays into it. And yeah he hasn’t been interacting much with the rest of the roster. Just think how much over he’d be if he was tagging with Bryan, and Hangman against the Elite.

Cody was at his best when he was a Ric Flair tweener that sometimes jumped between two hats depending on the territory.
Once he stopped whipping people, that’s when he lost a piece of himself.

It looks like they are signing every unsigned Booker T gal from Houston.
So they’ve basically laid a mine field in front of Tessa. Now she needs to avoid blowing up.
I guess this will replace bowling in some markets? It is weird that this happening in the first place. Maybe infomercials aren’t lighting the world on fire anymore?

Where did all of this Cody hate come from anyways? Is it strictly because he's an EVP?
Let’s see…
1. Talented
2. Charismatic
3. Multi media crossover star
4. Beautiful Wife
5. Dashing
6. Has a Husky
…So much to list.
I mean it’s pretty obvious. Did you see the Internets reaction to the Twitch leak? It’s nothing but pure J E A L O U S Y!

Arn’s probably gonna throw Cody a loaded revolver, and tell Cody to shoot him one day. Cody will chicken out, but that would be a hell of a segment.
Can’t wait until this leads to “Rambo” Rhodes.

Open challenge championship TV belts. They can be as important as the world belt depending on the person who holds it.
I’ll say it… I don’t like the look of the new belt. I think they can do better, and I hope they do. No reason this should not be rectangular like the majority of TBS logos have been. Could’ve went with different side plates as well.

I think it’s also a way to rehab Tessa in the eyes of promoters.
If she nails this by making this a success, and stays on her best behavior, then she might have a chance. God knows she was almost there with IMPACT, but she fucked that up hard.

Why are the Men of the Year associated with ATT?
after they lose to the inner circle, ATT should go recruiting. Fish and Garcia fit the mold way better.
Cant wait for Garcia to troll everyone and sign with WWE
Lee Moriarty is another who could fit in perfectly.

I would definitely be down for Bobby Fish replacing Scorpio Sky as Ethan Page's partner. Scorpio as a heel just doesn't work, imo.
I actually like Sky a lot with Page. Before 2Point0 got the gig, they were pretty great with Darby & Sting. They just don’t really fit with Lambert’s crew on the surface, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they were paired together because behind the scenes Scorpio is the one who is sparring with these Top Team guys to get them ready. So naturally he probably maneuvered themselves over to this angle thinking it’d be good exposure given all the celebrity athletes involved. That’s what I at least believed happened.
