JWP still books Yoneyama so you may be right about that, but I think the plan here is for Arisa to put over Hanako as the new ace on her way out. It's always good to have a solid native roster even if the shows are mostly freelancers, and Miyu and Nakajima were the young best wrestlers they had... Katsu and Hanako are not very good at all. The quality of their shows is going to take a hit from this.

Well, coincidentally today's WON released an update about the tournament and Kairi Hojo. Since the Stardom girls won't be leaving until April and the tournament will start in January or March, I could definitely see WWE wanting one or two other Japanese talents in the tournament.

I wish this rumored tournament would just be announced already so I can stop worrying about it. It's like a claw crane that is looming ominously over joshi and I'm just waiting to see which of my favorite wrestlers it'll snatch up.

Big news coming out of JWP's show: Rabbit Miyu is retiring on 12/28 to get married. Arisa Nakajima defeated Kyoko Kimura to become a 4x JWP Openweight Champion and then announced that she will be resigning from JWP on 12/28 to become a freelancer. Hanako Nakamori challenged for the belt.

I've been subbed to Stardom World since they were on youtube so I'm not just some asshole who's trolling the guy. I will continue to support the company even if their English admin is a loose cannon. I would just like him to stop this behavior that is driving people away from Stardom, you're not helping the company this way. He has created this huge fuss over on social media that is not beneficial to the perception of the brand or the subscription service.

The admin of a joshi streaming service has gone absolutely bonkers with power and is driving people away from a product that he should be promoting, it's being discussed elsewhere and I think it's worth discussing here. People need to see what they are getting into when they sign up to Stardom World. You may have your account banned without warning. Refunds not guaranteed.

A lot of the people you've blocked have never posted gifs or even mentioned your account, you're blocking people for seemingly no reason. Now I'm finding out that you're also deleting Stardom World accounts without warning? I sure how those people aren't being ripped out of their money.

I'm just going off of my memory of you raving about almost every Koraken main event... even the ones that weren't all that great like Io vs. Viper. Was that Io vs. Storm or Iwatani vs. Bito in Osaka? Neither of them were what I would consider match of the year or even standout matches, really. Oh, and while you're here: you want to address why you've been blocking everyone?

Literally every Korakuen Hall main event is 'MOTY' according to the We.Are.Stardom guy. I'm sure it was a great match though. Io will be hosting her own 10th anniversary produced show on 3/9 at Korakuen next year. I imagine that will be her last show. I wonder who she drops the belt to now.

I pray Io and Hojo is enough to fill Global Wrestling Monopoly's joshi quota.

Aja would probably greet Rossy with a uraken if she ever saw him again. They don't have a good history.

I don't know, Hojo winning the league tournament seemed like they were setting up for a redemption story where she would finally get the win over Satomaru, but when those plans fell through she just floundered in the mid-card. Why build the momentum if you aren't planning on doing anything with it? Why not just have Io win the tournament since she ended up challenging for Satomaru at the year-end show anyway? And then Io suddenly dropping the white belt to Santana of all people before a big match?.. It makes no sense. Satomaru lost to her OWN rookie to help benefit her OWN promotion. I don't know what point you're even trying to make there.

It was never explicitly stated, but that was clearly what Stardom was angling for. The We.Are.Stardom dude posted on another forum that the Thunder Rock vs. Best Friends match fell through because Ice Ribbon's management made changes to the match and that they would never work with the company again. It certainly doesn't sound like they are willing to make a compromise.

I just can't imagine a big name freelancer jobbing to any of Rossy's girls... esp. with how things played out with Satomaru refusing to drop the belt to Hojo last year. None of them have the level of 'respect' that Io has. Maybe Rossy can mend fences with Nanae and do a Seadlinnng angle. I know some would be upset over Yoshiko returning to a Stardom ring, but desperate times, desperate measures, etc.

From WON: RIP in peace Stardom. Stardom is scheduled for 12 Korakuen shows in 2017. It will be interesting to see how that plays out with their top draws leaving.

Another English-speaking WAVE follower? That makes a total of three of us! I haven't gotten to watching this yet, but it looks like it'll be amazing if the rest of the tournament is any indication. I was even impressed by the Yamashita/Kansai vs. Fairy/Ranamaru match. Side note: Yamashita has been improving rapidly and has become one of my favorite wrestlers to watch this year.

OZ Academy's Yokohama show is looking good so far. Looking forward to the HOSS dream team of Hashimoto & Yoshiko.

Hashimoto pinned Satomaru to become the new champion like some had predicted. Her first defense will be against Cassandra Miyagi on Nov. 9th at Korakuen.

So Stardom isn't getting that December retirement draw.. I wonder what they'll have planned.
