I hated the Rebirth short with Dr. Baraka but people lost their shit over it.

I've never heard of The Tracking Board before but they are saying James Wan is going to produce a Mortal Kombat movie written by Oren Uziel (Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, 22 Jump Street) and Dave Callaham (Doom, Expendables series, Godzilla).
Wan seems to be the perfect fit for what the studio has described as “a departure from the mythology,” with “darker, brutally real martial arts.” The script, being penned by Mortal Kombat: Legacy writer Oren Uziel and The Expendables writer Dave Callaham, centers around a seemingly harmless guy who realizes his potential when he finds himself caught in the middle of a cross-dimensional battle between the warriors of Earth and the monsters of Outworld. Now, in order to stop the world from total destruction, he must win the martial arts tournament known as ‘Mortal Kombat’.
A web series based on Mortal Kombat X was filmed months ago, not sure what happened to that.

That doesn't mean she wasn't legit crying after Bayley won, even with all the times she's seen her win.
Yeah, I wasn't saying it 's not great or anything, just pointing out that's she's always there. I think Bayley gave her a shout out on a post show when she lost to Charlotte.

TheVileOne, what's the rip-off gag?
Military gives them that new base. They are joking about a name. Thing is all like, "this is fantastic." Reed Richards gets a light bulb, "What did you say?! That's it's we're the F---" Smash cut to credits.
Isn't that close to, "How about Su---" from Man of Steel? I don't remember the Avengers gag.

She might because she interacts with Bayley a lot. I believe her name is Izzy, you always see her in the front row of NXT.

if the new FF film achieves one thing, I hope it's that people realise the 2005 version wasn't that bad (apart from Dr Doom)
Nah man, it totally was that bad.

Chelsea never really had a chance anyway, being the new girl, people weren't going to vote for her.
I'd save Gigi, she wins all the challenges, everyone seems to agree she's the best in the ring. She has character.
Miz trying to accuse ZZ of just wanting to be a reality star on Tough Talk was weird. And everyone just cheered for him at the end so it didn't work.

Didn't All Japan put a few guys in gimmicks that were Virtua Fighter characters?
There was a licensed AJPW for the Sega Saturn system that also featured two Virtua Fighter characters (Wolf Hawkfield and Jeffry McWild). As a tie-in, AJPW had Jim Steele do the Wolf Hawkfield gimmick for a bit.
So far as I can remember, no one did the Jeffry gimmick in AJ. Guess they couldn't find a rastafarian gaijin who looked the part. Today, they would really roid Kofi Kingston up and give him the gimmick.
Edit: Big E could probably run with the gimmick. A shame he's half as tall as Jeffry. I also doubt he can throw a convincing roundhouse kick.
Jeffry McWild was based on Willie Williams, a karate fighter who wrestled Inoki, fought in RINGS and oddly, had a few appearances in late FMW.

It's frustrating as hell but when you get to the end of the main story, its relatively stress free, character driven and pretty awesome.

I picked up the series during the Steam Summer Sale. I already beat 3 on Xbox 360 and mostly finished IV and I didn't feel like tearing my hair out through some of the more frustrating missions, so I've been using cheats.
Three is still super fun. I love the use of music during certain missions, like Kanye West's "Power" during the mansion and "Holding Out for a Hero" during the finale. Wrestling match was still a highlight, zombies still sucked. Currently playing IV as Mechagodzilla.

I'm just glad someone found a use for those old Jaffa costumes from the SG-1 vault.

Cena didn't even beat Neville

They should release a poster of just their chins, I want to see whose is stronger.

I remembered after watching the trailer that I created the 84 Arnold and John Connor when Salvation came out.
If it's not a Terminator exoskeleton, I don't care.
Maybe an endoskeleton.

You don't have to set the whole thing in the 60s just age the actors.

This is a video game, pal.

It should matter because it's ridiculous otherwise. It mattered in Back to the Future, hell even X-3 and Origins tried to de-age Magneto and Xavier.
-
But even as a reboot it doesn't make sense because characters introduced in First Class aren't aging after twenty years. Xavier and Magneto in Apocalypse should be in their fifties, right?
Not to mention, Xavier had a vision of kids in First Class that looked like Storm and Cyclops and they were either teen or pre-teen in the 60s. Maybe people just hate mutants because they found the fountain of youth and they aren't telling anyone about it.
-
Do you guys know that if the X-Men movies made any sense, Havok would be like 40 in Apocalypse?
Edit: I thought we had seen a picture of him, showing that he hasn't aged. I guess we haven't but considering no one else has aged since 1962...

TNA-esque. Why not be distinctive?
Because Jeff Jarrett.

What a time for Piper to come to Hogan's defense for once

I'm guessing he's blowing a Buff Blockbuster. I recall them doing a double team with the blockbuster, but I thought it was a bear hug.
Yeah, it was supposed to be a Blockbuster. He hit it on the next show and seemed rather pleased.
Chono gives Yoshinari Tsuji an nWo shirt and he marks out harder than Matt Striker.

Nah, he wrote the short, Rebirth. MK 2 was Annihilation.
He was also writing the movie when Kevin Tancharoen was on-board, the main dude was supposed to be a grocery store clerk or something. Mileena would have looked like this.
