  1. There is no blues that can sound quite as heartfelt as mine

Lamented at the gorge of the river, I watched it weep its banks dry

I hum the sorriest tune on the bar at these dives

Send all the patrons running home to make up with their first wives

My prose as purple but not as pretty as Lucerne

For sweet nothings from the lips of a gargoyle, nobody ever yearned

Perpetually a philistine, but darling I am longing to learn

Been looked at like the rotten grape on the vine, while you and yours are drinking Sauternes.

(But the low) is, what I came for

(And to bask) in a darkness I do adore

I am the magpie's solo, the sorrow that makes you salute

Pounding the earth for the early worm, I'm a glutton but it's good for my glutes

I was solace to the sirens, the bait on the fisherman's rod

the hook took me far from my family, but closer to God

  2. The cliched saying is "don't shit where you eat," but we've probably all either done it, tried it or considered it, at least.

Punk's got a bad case of the runs where he eats.

Thinkin' about it, he's just one of those movie-star types who can't date regular people, only other movie or music stars. He's the John Mayer of professional wrestling.

I imagine it's much more difficult to maintain a relationship with someone sitting at home that you rarely see than it is to maintain with someone you are able to spend more time with.

  3. This really is going to irritate me all day - I know there was an angle where they were doing the Heel is going to face a random name drawn out from a hopper.

I know that one time the winner was Rikishi.

I think THINK it was against Triple H but I am not 100% and I can't find anything on Youtube... yet...

Will Austin ask questions based on his problems he has stated he has with WWE?

I rarely listen to the podcast.  What problems does Austin have with the WWE?

Not a big fan of the scripting of interviews, think its overproduced, and it seems clear that he doesn't think a Stone Cold angle like he would want to do would work well in the PG-era. I mean, he's still pretty complimentary towards the company and points out he's a fan, but it's just so different from when he was on top.

He's also critical of the commentary.

Wonder how many times he's compared good commentary to salt and pepper on a steak.

  5. Has the WWE PPV schedule always been as excessive as it is nowadays?  Them having 3 ppvs in 2 months, most of which aren't all that built up or made to feel much more important than a Raw episode probably doesn't do much to increase buyrates.  It's also becoming increasingly easy to find them streaming online for free.

It actually used to be worse, they were just much better at hiding it when the brand split was around. It really just seems stupid to shoot themselves in the foot all through the fall season with that schedule when they could just put a PPV in March.

  6. So, who else read about Metallica liking Justin Bieber and is about ready to Benoit them out of their iPods and CD collections?

I'm sure they're really broken up about someone who cares what they say about Justin Bieber in 2013 and uses "Benoit" in that manner no longer being a fan.

Because while he had a good look, he had a sucky attitude and wasn't that good in the ring or on a live mic.

Given his post-wrestling tendency to beat up senior citizens, sucky attitude may have been putting it mildly.

    I believe he's a hairdresser now.

    You're thinking of O'Haire.

Which really goes to underscore Jae's point that the initial Jindrak-Billy Gunn comparison sucks, since none of you can tell him apart from the others.
