  1. I want an ancillary character to solve the case while everyone else is gnashing their teeth about their pasts, and then they break the fourth wall and scream, "I guess I'm the True Detective!"

  2. When they started freaking out because they thought the guy with the sign was going to propose to his girlfriend I was nearly in tears. Everyone knows to expect ball breaking when they ask questions, and hopefully it keeps drunk assholes with terrible questions from stepping up.

  3. Oh, and The Cell. Which would have otherwise been the most generic '00s serial killer movie ever if it were not for the great visuals.

This reminded of another Tarsem Singh film, The Fall. Seriously gorgeous location shooting.
  4. Neville is an unlikely combination of nearly the smallest guy on the roster and most juiced guy on roster. That probably appeals to Vince.

Yes. Jericho's body has seen better days, but I think it was all the more noticeable because he was working the most ridiculously cut dude on the roster.
  5. I think Genisys even doing the business it has is a testament to the goodwill fans of the franchise have for Arnold. I'm curious to see if Paramount sticks their neck out with sequels just to squeeze whatever they can out of Terminator before Cameron gets the rights back.

  6. Hannibal killing Pazzi in the book/movie is perhaps the pinnacle of the character being untouchable and theatrical. They pretty much did the scene verbatim and then immediately followed it up by showing how much he's slipping. The show's not perfect, but it's relationship to the source material and its desire to expand upon who/what Hannibal is has been really neat.

  7. I was happy for Finn, but I wish I liked his work more. Based on what I've seen from him, once he hits the main roster he'll have good matches with the usual suspects (Cena, Cesaro, Sheamus), but he'll struggle to gel with most of the roster. He seems to be the opitome of a guy who works up to his opponent's level.

  8. They've turned the promotion for Ant-Man around in the last few weeks. I think the early trailers and commercials made it come off as humorless and more like the dry early 2000s comic book adaptations. The newer stuff they've shown with Pena and Rudd actually having personality should help out. It's not going to exceed expectations like Guardians, but it won't be an embarrassment either.

  9. Yeah, John Connor Prime gets to spend the 90s following Phish around or something. Meanwhile, this kid who only exists because Reese went back in time and protected/slept with the wrong Sarah Connor is being trained by his mother to fight and being told he's the savior.
