Fear the Fighter still hasn't paid John Dodson for his fight at UFC 172. July probably can't come sooner for some of these dudes.

Looking at how they made some of these likely to be put on Fight Pass prelims, I am thinking a few of the losers may get a ticket to Invicta. The UFC still doesn't book a ton of female fights (probably because 135 is still pretty pedestrian outside a handful). They probably want to bolster the division, but most of the good fights can be easily made. So what's the point of keeping Angela Hill around just to be on the roster?

They'll find someone for him to beat on PPV. I have a bad feeling that the guy they put him in the ring will be less of a tomato can and more of a guy looking to put his name in the hunt by knocking out someone with a reputation. See: Kimbo Slice vs. Seth Petruzelli Mirko Crocop vs. Gabriel Gonzaga Now, whether or not Punk can turn a bad loss into a career like Brock did by meathooking Frank Mir into a pulp remains to be seen. ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER! JT, don't make me bring out Martin Baker

It's almost like.....he isn't doing this to compete for and/or win a UFC belt. I thought I was going to have to bust out the Martin Baker pic again. Actually, I was really hoping I would. Anyone who doesn't see this as a Herschel Walker ambassador to the sport role is really deluding themselves (Non-MMA and MMA fans alike). This was the role Chael was suppose to have before he ultimately did himself the disservice of getting caught again. I guess since Chael couldn't have it, he decided to pick someone for it. Punk will fight 3-5 fights maybe and then slide into a cushy job at Fox during or after those fights. If he is actually half decent and decides to do more, good for him. If he is not, then he has a job in LA waiting for him as an analyst. Either way, he is getting fucking paid and doesn't have to deal with any type of politics.

Mike Bohn @MikeBohnMMA 2m2 minutes ago Dana White tells @ArielHelwani on FS1 that Rory MacDonald's title shot isn't for sure, say Hendricks-Lawler 3 "wouldn't be a bad idea"

I like how basically no one has talked about possible KO and submission of the year candidates. Eddie Gordon and Ashlee Evans-Smith both got sent to beddy bye land.

Probably lower tier cards in Cali. Nevada has an old boys (and girls) network of bad judges.
