Part Two of the Star Wars Retrospective is up! Featuring X-Wing, and it's various sequels. Instead of writing about all these games, I should be playing them (they're available and updated to play on modern machines too!)(and I wonder if I was the only one who decided to pay full price for the CD-ROM edition of X-wing, rather then send in my game disc and wait for them to send me the special edition)

So, to modify something I said earlier, the AFC Divisional QB's are: The Toradol-stuffed walking dead that is Ben Rothelisberger, Alex Smith, Tom Brady with a busted wheel and a zombie Offensive line, and the Decaying Corpse of Peyton Manning. Um. wow.
-
The Zebras bail out the Steelers. . . .
That's just about every type of personal foul on a WR wrapped up into one hit.
-
Defenseless receiver hit. They're in FG range
-
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME????
-
Good god, that's Ben Rothelisberger's Music!

We're going to have a riot before this is over.
And your potential AFC Divisional Quarterbacks: The Undead Corpse of Peyton Manning, Landry Jones, Alex Smith, and Tom Brady with a Zombie Offensive Line.

A new Wot I'm Playing. I've described before how many hours I've played the Football Manager series (thousands), but I go into a bit more detail about why I spend so many hours on this one game series. https://www.an8bitmind.com/index.php/2016/01/09/wot-im-playing-football-manager-2016/

Just a heads up, I'm going to start my stream at 7, not 8 tonight. And for the first time, I'll be using Twitch's archival feature, so, if you miss the insanity you'll be able to watch it later.

I really wish Rocket League was completely cross platform play (PC, PS4, X1) That game is awesome.

Study indicating nearly 40 million VR Users by the end of 2016? Don't believe the hype, but I don't need to, to understand why they're calling 2016 the Year of VR. (also, check out the previous article on the Oculus Rift pre-orders opening and blowing up the Oculus website! )

Oculus Rift: $600, orders shipping in (late) march, some selected locations will have it in retail in April. Pre-orders open now.

BTW, if any of you play Rocket League, I'm planning on doing a Twitch Stream thursday night starting around 8 PM Eastern. Hoping to get folks together for some Rocket league, especially if we can get Skype or something going for maximum trash talk

Part one of the Star Wars video games retrospective is up. Do you know how hard it was to find some of these games? And yet, I want to play a lot of them (ok, not Jedi Arena. Seriously, if you showed me a screenshot and said it was one of those poorly made porn games for the Atari 2600, I would have believed you.)
-
I'm posting this in the video game selection as well as here.. but can anyone pick out any of the early Star Wars games I've missed in this retrospective?

Rule #1 when you play Foz, and my friends at Rocket League?Talk Shit?Get Hit.we played a pair of Ranked games against the same team. First game, they won 3-1.My friend was going for a ball and demo'd an opponent, who swore at him in chat. They then talked shit to us, and of course, we responded in kind.Next game, we get matched up with the same opponent team. I decide I'm going to be Fozzie the Asshole (which is a valid strategy in this game). That guy who started throwing a shit fit? He was their goalie.. so I just ignored the ball and kept driving into him, so he couldn't play goalie. That drove him nuts, and soon he left the net alone to prevent me from annoying him (and they didn't have anyone cover the net to clear things out, so they had to scramble everytime we broke on them). We won that second game.

Following up on my Digital Downloads post from early yesterday morning, I asked some of my friends at another messageboard where THEY were on digital downloads, and got some really good feedback.
