FTR and Spears. They need more belts.
I'd bet on Kenny and the Bucks though.
Praying for this to be true. Schiavone did triple or even quadruple clutch on dropping the Elite's name though.

752k, 0.26 demo, 8th on cable. Sports ate everything.
Was always going to be a tough night between being on Tuesday and thus splitting wrestling viewers w/ NXT, NBA home opener, and baseball playoffs. Still beat NXT tho and that's with Triple doing his damndest to win the night.
Riho vs. Jamie Hayter is awesome booking.
While Adam Cole is living proof of no concussion is a "mild" concussion, it seemed like it was either that or a broken neck, so i guess this is the lesser of two evils. I wish him the best in his recovery and hope he is back pissing Matt off with his all strong grapple offense in no time. Adam Cole returning as a huge babyface will be the right thing for him if and when it happens.
I really appreciate the push to legitimize the women's division, even though it isn't exactly full throttle, but what does it say about the champion seemingly always being overshadowed by other people in the ring? Storm is one of their better bell-to-bell women they got and she's got the looks, but why do we care about her? She's a rock and roller? Okay. She got to the top in her first six months, so she didn't exactly struggle or grow so there's no organic connection there either.
Now, Riho. That's a champion you can set your watch to. I'd love to see a tag team of Riho and Willow. Cheery old school babyfaces.
What's the end game with Jade? And Death Triangle splitting up (thankfully!)? I'll be happy when Fenix is just an out and out babyface on his own and Penta and/or Pac are fucking him up. Bandido & Fenix vs. Pac & Penta. Let's go. If not Best Friends, who takes the belts off DT tho?
Miro seems to be just chilling. His imdb profile is empty other than wrestling and that pilot he filmed ages ago. His twitter account is mostly Real Madrid (how can a Bulgarian be a Madrid fan with Stoichkov playing for Barca in the '90s?!) and him having fun at Halloween's premiere and eating food. So weird. He's one of the best acts you've got and you're down a handful of top tier talent. The roster feels so small right now and it's so heavily reliant on rematches lately, which is strange because they desperately avoided doing them for the first few years. Redeem us plz.

3) The firm helps MJF win the match, only MJF doesn't like what happened, and now he will go through the likes of Ethan Page to get the justice he demands.
Feel like this is the most interesting way forward.

Helwani and trying to manufacture drama, name a more iconic duo.
He also said anyone that thinks AEW’s product is better than WWE is an absolute liar. So, yeah.
Is he not working for WWE? If not, a shameless plug of a man.

Man, the Hornets might have just put themselves right in the Wembanyama sweepstakes completely due to unforseen misfortune.
I just watched some videos on Wembanyama and got goosebumps. Holy fucking shit. Half the teams in the league are going to try and tank for this guy.

I'd be happy with him in Stokeley's group. Him and MJF have good chemistry and there's no reason they wouldn't still interact. He's such a fun stooge
Once they committed to him as a stooge his act really clicked. He was awesome throughout the Wardlow feud.

Overeem/Hari 3 was wild, particularly the third round. Reem looked completely lost, like he forgot how to kickbox, was getting tagged with everything as he slowly, awkwardly waded into range throwing overhand hooks while staring at the canvas. Easy stuff for Hari to deal with but Overeem caught him with a fight changing uppercut in the second that probably should've been a knock down. Glory didn't show a good replay to see if Badr's glove touched the canvas or not. Anyway, round 3 Reem poured it on in a more controlled manner and started landing big shots. Two knock downs and the come from behind victory. Awesome fight. Fans in the Netherlands solidly behind Badr and booing Overeem. Massive boos for Rico in the crowd lmao. I've never seen an uneventful Hari fight. Something always happens with that fucked fucker. He even played peacemaker between Reem and Rico. Sadly he retired post-match in Dutch (whereas Overeem and Rico were speaking English). Beast.

This one and the last one were better than 1 + 2.
The first one (right?) had the awesome Britt/Riho match, which I contend is Britt's best straight up wrestling match to date by quite some bit and only behind the lights out match overall. The rest of that one wasn't very intriguing though.

I hate watching that man fight hyper strategically then throw a tantrum when he loses a razor thin decision. lmao, see ya.

I realize we are dealing with a fantasy world where these guys face no real world consequences.
But if I were to act this way in my workplace, I would be out of a job and likely led away in handcuffs.
Sometimes that's worth it. I'm team Zidane headbutt.

Unless Poole was putting a spell on Green to slug him.
I disagree.

We don't know what was said. Feel like people have gotten way too comfortable with saying whatever they want without consequences coming into play. Reactions to the will Smith slap showed as much.

Women's match was the only one that really exceeded or lived up to my hype. That was really good and it's fun to see the actual wrestling of the division come along so quickly and so well, despite the storyline stuff still needing a lot of work.
I'm so glad my friend didn't buy tickets to the Toronto show. That is not a good lineup and I have so little interest in another Danielson/Jericho match. For a roster so large, it really feels so small at the moment.

Two petty current midcard heels who haven't had any business together on television since March? I'm putting my chips on total embarrassment.
Plus Ricky Starks tweeted (and deleted) "why can't my coworkers shut the fuck up for a minute" and suggested AEW bring in Hunico to solve their problems. Then he posted this pic lol:
notice the pillar, of course.

A tragedy. FTR were so good with Tully and now...
What are the odds of the main event being a Halloween Havoc '95 Arn/Pillman vs. Sting/Flair situation? I know it was too predictable and lolstupidsting but the way they set it up was so money and I will never forget Flair getting the hot tag in the slacks, doing the Flair rope run right into coldcocking Stinger. The beatdown is fucking terrific too, with Sting fighting like a madman to get at Flair and the Horsemen having to hold him down. The October 16th Nitro to set it up was great with Sting not buying Flair's reformation and forcing him to work the first bit of their tag match against Arn and Pillman by himself before coming down to singlehandedly win the match.

This looks good on paper minus Jay Lethal. Glad to see they're going back to a wrestling heavy episode after the WWE fuckery last week.

Friday the 13th still is one of the games I had the most fun playing with randoms online ever. Glitchy mess but boy was it fun for about a year. I'd love it for them to make a sequel and learn from their mistakes but, yeah, licencing hell puts a stop to that for now.

Josh Thomson claiming the referee robbed Pico by stopping the fight was hilarious. I am not the biggest John McCarthy fan, but thank God he didn't entertain that foolishness.
Thomson walked it back saying that he didn't have the audio that the broadcast had and was in the seats so he thought it was a separated shoulder and Pico wanted to keep fighting. But yeah, Josh Thomson sucks either way.
Spike Carlyle still a perennial Fucked Fucker of the Year contender, I see. No defense all attack. Okay, cool.
Big day for Chinese WMMA on the 70th anniversary of the PRC's founding. #blessed

Pico's fight stopped due to a seemingly broken clavicle. God damn.

He was joking and looking at Ospreay when he said it according to multiple reports. He still probably shouldn't have said it.

Chatri put the belt on Xiong's shoulders and walked off looking disappointed. I'm sure he would rather the super marketable Angela Lee win but oh well lol. Herb Dean was halfway through waving his hands at least once probably two or three times in round one when Xiong was beating the brakes off of Lee. She also continued to land the more impactful strikes rounds 2-5 though Lee had significantly more volume in most of those rounds. Still, Xiong should've won that fight if you're scoring it as a whole rather than by rounds.

Feels like that group is splintering though. Yuta, Mox, and Claudio once Mox gets his vacation post Full Gear seems likelier with where this is heading.
