I bet he's a huge fan of Tim Burton.

I know it's my team and it's the only reason why I'm saying it, but I could see Theo and Jed stepping up to sign Cano, especially if this fiasco drives down Cano's price.
December, the hottest of hot stove months.

Criss Angel?
-
I could see the Jags being totally in love with how well Josh McCown has played, giving him a stupid contract, and then grumbling when he eventually plays like shit.
-
I love that we're all trying to talk Tabe off a ledge, except Tabe is gleefully dancing around on said ledge.
-
This is why you can only play with friends. Anyone remember the analog stick/kickout exploit in WCW Revenge? Yeah. That shit never happened when you played with people you trusted.
-
Oh Tabe, I know you're going to be a completist, but I urge you to just pass on the rest of Dexter.
As for FNL, I recently started watching it again and it's just as amazing as it was the first time around. I consider it, Breaking Bad, and The Shield as the top 3 shows of all time. As for which is the best depends on the mood I'm in, but FNL is nearly perfect.
CLEAR EYES. FULL HEARTS...

Goddamn, Big Ben looks like he was born to be a bald, aging, jock.
-
Shit, I remember exactly where I was when he was released from prison, and that was in elementary school for fuck's sake. What a terrible loss, but my God, 95 years old. What a life that man lived.
-
Sooooo stupid.

So how many years will it take Seattle to regret that deal?
-
It's been a wacky offseason.

I'm so happy Tommy Dreamer saved that.
With regards to DB, I don't think he'll ever achieve great success because he's almost too humble and isn't ever going to do what Punk did in grabbing the company by the balls.
-
I thought it sounded a lot like Sean Connery, but I also thought it was fun, and it sounded less ridiculous than the GRAVELY BATMAN VOICE WHERE IS THE BOMB WHERE IS IT?!!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

YAY, MLB and NPB agreed on a new posting system where there is a $20 million cap to get you a seat at the table, but only the team that signs the player will need to pay the $20 million. Sounds good to me.

Man of Steel was awesome. Everything I wanted Superman in a movie to be. He stopped being a sissy and started kicking ass...
FOR AMERICA.
DKR on the other hand does indeed have some issues, which I outline on the previous incarnation of the board. Some of my biggest issues have to do with what Bruce did in his time of retirement, why he would pine for Rachel for so long instead of moving on, what happened to everything that was setup at the end of TDK, etc.

He practiced yesterday, where Run DMC didn't. The Jets D does scare me a bit, but Jennings has shown he gives no fucks about opposing defenses.
-
Huh, Cubs signed Wesley Wright because he was non-tendered by the Rays. Wright is a good arm, I wonder why the Rays parted ways with him.
-
Good point.
Well, if all goes well with the waiver wire (and I'm dead last on that since I'm in first place in the league), I'm going to drop the Cardinals D and go with the Oakland D, playing the matchup against the Jets. As an added bonus, I still have the Panthers D, who also play the Jets next week. So my line up for game 2 of the first round of the playoffs is:
QB1: Peyton Manning
QB2: Tom Brady
RB1: Alfred Morris
RB2: Shane Vereen
WR1: Demaryius Thoms
WR2: Larry Fitzgerald
TE1: GRONK
TE2: Ladarius Green
FLEX: Michael Floyd
K: Dan Bailey
DEF: Oakland (if all goes well)
Relevant players on my bench are:
RB: Ryan Matthews
RB: Rashad Jennings
WR: Cecil Shorts
TE: Rob Housler
TE: Jordan Reed
I'm a little conflicted with my RB and TE choices. Reed is a really good TE, but who knows if he's going to play or how well he's going to do. I also wonder how well Housler will fare since he had a touchdown vultured last week.
As for my RB, Jennings has been sooooo good, but again, who knows if he'll be ready to go. If he is, I really don't know if I go with him or Vereen.

You may even want to think about starting Bernard in your flex spot.
-
Play McCown. Weather will be decent in Chicago this weekend, McCown has plenty of weapons that are in tune with him, and Wilson has to deal with playing away in San Fran.
-
No it won't.

LOL
Looks like Jimbo Hendry got Mike Quade a job with the Yankees. Quade will be a "roving outfield instructor."

I blame Scott Keith.
