  1. I like Bayley alot, but it's really time to ditch the "dream come true" act.  It's played out. I don't mean it disparagingly, but I think it's time for her to evolve her character a bit.

-Kudos to the FoF.  I knew it was coming as soon as HHH pulled KO aside, but Jericho and KO had such great chemistry that I still felt bad for Jericho when he got jumped.

-I missed the first half of RAW because me and my neighbor were kicking the shit out of my woman-beating other neighbor, but from reading this thread, that was probably more exciting than what I missed.

  2. The two I always remembered actually became true:  The Road Warriors vs Demolition and Lex Luger vs Randy Savage.  The latter is even more eerie considering that Lex and Elizabeth did actually hook up.

I don't know, Ralph was probably working twice as hard as anyone else in the group, I'd see why he had a bit of ego.  Seriously, Ronnie and Mike wouldn't be able to tell me shit if I was Ralph Tresvant.

That was my initial thoughts too until I heard the BC interview. I still think Ralph was justified in his thinking to a point but apparently never grew up.

  4. Peep the BC interview. Turns out, when they were interviewing the NE members, no one knew what the others POV was about their history, and apparently there are hurt feelings again.

As an aside, I was surprised that girls loved Ronnie almost as much as Ralph, then I forgot light-skinned dudes were IT back in the day(Prince, Al B. Sure). I thought he was gangly with a crazy Jheri curl, but did know he dressed sharp as hell.

They had bullshit management, but it really amazes me that this miniseries is painting Bobby as the bad guy when all he really wanted was to not be treated like a glorified back-up singer.

I've always heard that Ralph was the real problem cog in the machine, but I guess he wouldn't have signed off on this bio-series if it made him look like too much of a dickbag.

Without giving away too much, it's not that Bobby is painted as a heel, Bobby is just...Bobbying. And Ralph is portrayed more sympathetic in that while he had to do most of the work, he was loyal to NE when the record companies were trying to get him to become a solo act.

I am DVRing it to binge watch once I am off of night shift.  Your report of its unexpected quality is encouraging!

So, am I going to boo every time Ralph Tresvant shows up or are they softening the heel angle?

Bobby is the only one who comes off as a heel, but even he is a sympathetic figure in the beginning. Their management are the big heels in all of this. NE got jerked pretty bad.

  7. My first thoughts when I read this were:

Will he now be considered the Patron Saint of every Glass Joe that was KTFO and woke up in a haze with strangers screaming in their face?

And: will people take selfies at his casket, yelling "WORLDSTAR!!!"?

Maybe my favorite pic I've ever taken at a pro wrestling event. The look of complete and utter disdain on Jericho's face is priceless. From the Indiana, PA house show on Saturday. He then referred to Indiana as the "anus of Pennsylvania" leading to a near-riot among the old-school crowd.

Being that I went to college there(Indiana Univ. of Pa), I concur with his assessment.  A lot of folks family trees don't fork there.
