Regal had a long career, and travelled a lot so maybe him?? Was a WCW tag champ too I think
Regal only 473, generally anyone who spent a large proportion of their career in post 2001 WWE does not rank highly.

Not Chris Jericho he's only 564
Hint, the 2 wrestlers in question were both tag champions in WCW in the 90s. (separately)

Which wrestler has wrestled the most different opponents? I'd have guessed Jerry Lawler, but looking through wrestlingdata, I found 2 that had him beat.
Lawler has 973 opponents listed. I found 1 man that broke the 1000 mark, and one that has had one more opponent than Lawler. Anyone want to take a guess?

I just can't see WrestleMania at Wembley, the weather is too much of a risk. I know they've done boxing there at a similar time of year but it's one thing for boxing when a most people are just there for the one big fight, it's another for a 5-6 hour WrestleMania.

Some interesting credits at the end of one of the Stampede VHS releases:

The game was eventually restarted. Scotland won 2-0.
In other Euro 2024 qualifying news, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a late winner against Iceland in his 200th international for Portugal.
Moldova (ranked 171st in the world) came back from 2-0 down to record a shocking 3-2 win over Poland.

Wednesday certainly took the hard road to winning the playoffs. I wonder what odds you could have got on them being promoted after the first game with Peterborough?

Brian Dixon, longtime (50+ years) promoter of All-Star wrestling in the UK passed away.

Luton Town win promotion to the playoffs, beating Coventry City 6-5 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the playoff final.

Cena was a heel in OVW.

I don't think Del Wilkes ever worked heel.
Tony Garea is another one.

Luca Brecel wins the World Snooker Championship, first mainland European to do so.

IIRC the Bushwhackers were hired to fill the spot of the British Bulldogs after they left. I think Vince saw the flag they carried and thought they were a British team.

Max Crabtree (Longtime British wrestling promoter and Big Daddy's brother) also passed away today. RIP.

Yeah in reality Sid was going to be gone by the end of 1992 just like Warrior and Davey.
WWF booking was all over the place in 1992 and 1993. They threw out all the feuds that they'd set up after WM8 and did SummerSlam with all new matches. And there's no way they planned to have Luger as the new American hero in July when they debuted him as the Narcissist in January.

What was WWF's plan with Sid when he came in in 1991? Was the heel turn and match with Hogan at WM8 always the plan or did they change tack once Warrior agreed to come back? The happy smiling babyface Sid Justice character really did not work although he seemed to be over.
