Off Limits will always hold a place in my heart, purely for the supporting cast. Somebody rounded up Keith David, Scott Glen and Fred Ward and just told them to be complete badasses.

The only time I ever bother to go to the impound lot anymore is when I have my more expensive rides out. Even then I don't bother sometimes. Most of my rides are hunks of shit, so it only costs me a couple hundred. When something gets impounded, I immediately call the mechanic to deliver something else so the impounded car will be destroyed. Then I call Mors Mutual. Rinse and repeat.
If any of you are ever doing the mission where you have to deliver 3 planes to Simeon's docks, shoot me an invite. I liked that mission but I can never get in a room with people who are competent enough to do it. And now that I've said that, I'm guaranteed to ram a plane into a container.
That plane delivery mission is one I seem to get all the time when I join a random mission. I've never been in a group that failed it, but usually at least one person crashes trying to land. I've never tried to pilot the planes myself for that one. I always just jump in one of the conveniently parked buzzards and go after the enemy helicopters.

I'm assuming you have some sort of super power when you're a higher rank, because these people pick me off from (seemingly) a mile away, and I can't even see someone until I turn the corner and by then I'm already dead.
I'm a level 8, but my fitness level and lung capacity are already almost maxed out. I'm probably just going to buy a garage on the beach and store bikes there. I'm awesome at darts, the gun range and anything that doesn't involve death matches.
The super power is the second level sniper rifle with all the mods. It's got insane range, and seems to be a one shot kill even if your health and armor are fully maxed. I've used that thing to take out people I know had no idea where I was, and I've had the same thing happen to me a few times.

The were reloads purchased a while back. Obviously they didn't inspect that round closely enough before they did it. We'd used about 1500 of the original 2000 rounds without any problems. I'm chucking the rest though - not taking chances on that again.

Good news in the form of a bunch of things that could have happened but didn't:
The lump we had cut out of my oldest dog's eyelid didn't turn out to be cancer. It was just a benign tumor.
The cop that pulled in behind me with his flashers on after I drove past him going 80 in a 65 didn't pull me over. I was already in the process of pulling over when he changed lanes to get the truck next to me.
The big one - my wife wasn't seriously injured when she easily could have been. We had our annual family shootout the day after Thanksgiving, protecting the world from the threat of clay pigeons, plastic bottles and pumpkins. She had fired 3 or 4 shots from my 9 mm when the brass on one of the bullets failed catastrophically - the whole side just came apart. Chalk it up to Sig making a really sturdy gun, because it took almost all the damage. She wound up with only minor powder burns on her right hand, and on her cheek below her glasses.
Plus my Aggies didn't lose Sumlin to USC, and probably won't to anyone else with the extension and with the way the team shit the bed the last two weeks.

Where do these clods get tanks? Do they buy them? Steal them? Can you put them in your garage?
You can try to steal them, but you're likely to get your tank blasted by the other tanks before you escape. You can't put them in your garage, stolen or not. What I assume most of the clods have done is spent $1.5M to buy a tank from Warstock. When that's done, you call up Pegasus and pay them $1K to deliver the tank.
Pegasus prices went down with the latest update - dropped to $200, at least for the Buzzard

Has online got really flaky for anybody else? I've had essentially no problems till now.
Today it crashed my 360 twice inside of 10 minutes. I logged back on later and got booted off online in the middle of a race, with a warning about quitting out of missions when I got back on. The following race, everybody but me got booted right at the end of lap 1.

A 2 lap race paid $3330, and about 1500 RP for a win tonight. Yesterday that would have been at least $13K and 8K RP. They needed to balance the rewards of racing and missions, but a jump in mission payouts to to match this would've been nice.

I hope they fixed the flying skills issue.
I think the skill problem is still there. My flying skill wasn't changed, but I lost almost all of my strength. It seems like people get hit randomly on one skill vs. another

Looks like I got caught by the skills bug in the new release. Strength dropped from 100 to about 20. Back to kicking dump trucks I guess.
On the plus side, a bunch of vehicles got unlocked for purchase now. Too bad I spent all my cash on a buzzard last night

For the life of me, I can't remember who from the crew I was racing with, but I had a great night of good, clean, close racing with someone from the crew. I gotta get bettter about remembering names.
You would think the golf course race would be more fun, but that bridge jump is evil.

I thought you were going to lap me on that damn Caddie race. I think it took me 6 tries to get across the jump the first time. I was expecting to see you sail past me again while I was still stuck in that pond

I went ahead and started a second character a few days ago, after I got my main one to 120 and made enough money for my tank access. The tank is a pain in the ass to drive, but it did allow me to finally get through Death from Above. I'll probably barely ever use it, but I wanted one anyway.
Went with a horrifically ugly female for the second one. Finding it slow going leveling up this time without the crutch of easy RP from racing. Took me about a week to open up the first mission from Martin.
