Also for a balls to the wall spotfest, we sure had long sections of Pac balancing himself on the top rope, making faces while everyone stood around

Dempsey is the obvious one, so many different stories to tell with him. Regal as a proud father and dissension between Dempsey and Wheeler. Regal as the Great Santini, abusing and tormenting Charlie until he stands up to him. That JAS story AxB suggested. Demspey is also amazingly good for having so few matches, his A-Kid rounds match from NXT UK was one of my favorite matches of the year, I wrote a bunch about it for the Ringer

There are actually two Finlay vs. Callihan matches, one from EVOLVE which was Finlay's first match back and I was live at and one from WXW in Germany.

I was kind of playing it by ear a bit, if I found an Lucha/Japan/Indy match I liked more then Darby vs. Brody, I would have made FTR vs. Briscoes the AEW rep, I didn't so I didn't.

I talked a lot about this in my Ringer piece
My guess is that this ends up with Nick Khan totally in charge, with an Anoa'i family power play of some kind. I just don't think Jared and Ivanka end up on top of the slippery pole for too long

Yeah I had the barbedwire cage match on my initial list, but on a rewatch it was pretty mediocre, their really great match was part of the Houston footage and just a regular brawl. I swapped it out for Raven vs. Sandman and I am happy with my decision.

Yeah, I think the Terminal Combat gimmick is kind of dumb, but those weapons shots felt like weapons shots Ikeda and Ishikawa would throw to each other
