I loved the use of the railroad spike on Mark Briscoe. That and the Young Bucks bloody suits have Jimmy Jacobs fingerprints all over it.

I think that was one of the Slammy's maybe? I think about them doing the Blazing Saddles fight more often than I care to admit.
I think you're right.

I keep saying that someone needs to steal the Blackjack/Sullivan "brawl out and brawl in" idea. Just have two guys in a feud fighting every show in the back, end up in the ring, fight out, show up at the next one doing the same thing. Make it look like they didn't even change clothes.
Wasn't there a WWF show circa late '87-early '88 where Jim Duggan and Harley Race fought throughout the entire show? It may have started out as a match between them and then ended up fighting all over. Does this sound familiar to anyone else?

Got home way late so that was all I saw but it was pretty awesome. If only the spike piledriver was sold like death.
I'd go out of my way to catch the rest of Collision, especially Brody King/Mark Briscoe.

Their frontman is a Covid denier or at least Covid vaccine denier, RFK Jr. supporting dork. So nah. I’ll pass on that idea.
Oh yeah. I kinda forgot about Dickey Barrett's views when the idea came to me. Maybe if he could have kept his mouth shut in the first place, they wouldn't have broken up.

The old Princeton Tigers football stadium had troughs. It never really bothered me. When you gotta go, you gotta go.

I, for one, can't wait for the entire hour they spend on Kenley Jansen and Connor Wong trying Skyline Chili for the first time.
You mean after the Red Sox trade them? Or at least Jansen, who is on the trading block.

It's unfortunate that the Mighty Mighty Bosstones broke up. If I were TK, I would have thrown money at them to play entrances for the Boston show.

Great choice of all-white outfits for the gusher.
It reminded me of the Age of the Fall debut in ROH when Jay Briscoe was hanged from the ceiling and his blood flowed all over Jimmy Jacobs white gear. I'm sure Jacobs had something to do with tonight's ending segment.

I'm starting to think Darby climbing Everest is going to be like Mox taking that fishing trip. LBVS
For Darby's sake, I hope he doesn't climb Mt. Everest.

What is this...Donnie Brasco? Is John suppose to lie for Vince?
Listen...the WWE knew when they hired Johnny Ace what type of guy he was. And then they promoted him. He might take the fall for firing people and passing on bad news, but if he has no connection with WWE, why would he protect them?
What year is HHH up to in his pop culture references?
I might start watching WWE again if they start lifting from Donnie Brasco. Of course, from what I read they're lifting from Seinfeld now. Maybe we'll eventually have a wrestler who only goes by his last name turn out to be named Cosmo.

Quite possibly. The one time Kerry came back from Mexico and his honeymoon he got popped at DFW airport with a bunch of pills and other assorted party favors.
Of course, Kerry really doesn't seem like he was bright enough to have a mule, like Hogan with Beefcake.

He was Kerry’s buddy since elementary school. That’s why he got so many chances while being so drab personality wise.
He may have also been Kerry's coke mule.

you know if they were doing this like how they used to do wrestling, Darby would go to Everest and come back using a mysterious move that he learned from a Sherpa.
Would Darby come back spraying Asian Mist in his opponents eyes?
It would have to be white mist causing his opponents to be snowblind, right?

Between actual baseball and weather, could you run Fenway in April?
It would definietly be risky, like when WM was at Metlife Stadium. Imagine what that would have looked like with bad weather. If AEW were to ever run Yankee Stadium, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

PIX11 has been playing Seinfeld re-runs for quite a long time as well.

Hey, Revolution has nothing to do with gambling. So there's another one.
The theme song for the ppv needs to be “Revolution is my Name”.

If wver there were someone to come out to "We Will Rock You" and then be played out to "We Are The Chamlions" they'd win all of professional wrestling!
James
Claudio Castagnoli's intro on the indies was the beginning of "We Will Rock You", which would flow into "Sledgehammer".
The Kings of Wrestling (Hero & Claudio) used "We Are the Champions" as their entrance theme.

I know this has come up a few times before, but what are some of the best acting performances by wrestlers, specifically in feature films? I'm hoping for some nice deep cuts along with the obligatory Andre, Piper, Funk praise.
Necro Butcher and Ernest Miller in The Wrestler.

Wasn't it also reported that Nigel had hepatitis or was that just a rumor?

The two year anniversary of my father's passing is coming up on March 31st. I'm definitely feeling some feelings. I've been listening to Everclear's "Father of Mine" a lot lately. I'm worried about possibly relapsing with Mr. White. I've got my IOP group and my individual therapist to vent to. The DVDVR has always been supportive, so I just wanted to put it out there.
