  1. For those who'd like to see the most Canadian reaction to anything ever, check out Joe Thornton finding out he's going in the Hall of Fame.

  2. Took a break from most modern wrestling but grabbed presale tickets to All Out. Going with my buddy who used to watch but has stopped in the past few years so looking forward to hopefully reigniting the love for current graps. If not, there's always PWOLoss's playlists which I could not recommend enough.

Didn't Shayna just sign a new deal not too long ago?

    That's diabolical.

    Literally re-signed last June.

Pretty sure Shotzi and Austin Theory aren't being renewed based off social media posts.

The Jinder one stuck out to me too. He's working indies and seemingly has no connection to WWE today. If anyone listened, what's the context? I'm not subjecting myself to listening.

He's brown therefore brown = Muslim = terrorists

I love dark/edgy humor as long as the joke is you know, a joke. If a joke isn't funny but I think the intent is to make a joke and it just failed, I'll give it a pass. I did stand up for 10 years and lord knows I've done material that I legit thought was funny that did not fly. This wasn't that. This was a bunch of non comedians thinking that because it's a roast, they needed to be shocking and over the top and it sucked and wasn't funny and is just going to bring out a ton of awful takes about how "No one can tell jokes anymore".  There's a huge difference between going for a laugh and going for shock.

Dom winning the IC title was also the exact same finish as the women’s title match. Where is the quality control?

Night 1 had 2 matches end with springboard moonsaults. They actually don't care about finishes anymore.

  6. In ring wise, great but I hated two matches finishing with springboard moonsaults. Laziest booking of the night.

Not really looking forward to World Champ Jey Uso but I actually really liked the finish. Gunther just ate 3 splashes then had a choke slapped on him. No way he had any air left to fight it. He panicked and tapped.

New Day vs Raiders was fine but it didn't make me want to play Clash of Clans which seemed to be the main point.

Naomi vs Jade was great. Sure you could actively see Jade talking throughout the whole match, she looked great and I want a Naomi title run.

Knight vs Fatu ruled and was Knights best main roster match. I'd love to see a rematch.

Really enjoyed Fenix vs Americano. Loved Americanos entrance and kudos to Fenix for trying to get the crowd invested into a newcomer. This was pro wrestling dumb and I loves me some pro wrestling dumb.

Tiffany vs Charlotte was better than I expected. Charlotte seemed a step off but she almost had me convinced it was on purpose to further the "aging former star takes on her younger, more athletic doppelganger replacement" narrative that I might have just made up in my head because I haven't been watching much of the TV.

Triple threat was pretty good but you could see the scripts in everyone's hands especially the announcers. The lingering camera shots on people's faces after 2 counts had me cracking up. It's like they all watched the "End of an Era" HIAC from Mania 28 and decided it wasn't hammy enough.

So yeah, quite enjoyed the actual wrestling but definitely more sterilized and corporate than ever.

Oh, and I know you probably just got it all set back up, but you should find your fainting couch again....

Keith Tkachuk is "in line" to be available for Game 1 of the first round.  🤯

Making the comeback at 53. Good for him. Hopefully he's replacing Matthew and not Brady. 🙃

You could have easily taken Tenta out of that Golga costume (which is up there with the weirdest idea they ever had) and reintroduced Quake no problem. Did anyone not smart, or someone of you actually smart, know it was him? The fans certainly didn't.

My family had just gotten internet during the Oddities run so I hadn't discovered wrestling rumorz yet but 10 year old me knew it was Tenta just based on how he'd plant his hand to lessen the impact on the Earthquake splash he still did as Golga.

  9. The Sens traded Josh Norris to Buffalo for a younger,  slightly cheaper, not as good but less injury prone Norris. They also got Fabian Zetterlund from the Sharks for a couple meh players and a 2nd. I've watched zero San Jose this year but Sharks fans seem pissed so hopefully this works out.

He was a big star in WWF. He held the tag belts with Tito, and was one of the top babyfaces for a long time. He'd feud with tons of the top heels especially in the 70's and early 80's. There's a Putski vs Zybysko match from Philly in 1980 that's one of my favorite matches I've seen. I wish it was on YouTube. I have it on an unlabeled DVD in a tub in the crawl space. So it may as well be lost forever.

    This one?

If Hobbs wins the belt we need a segment of him walking backstage, running into Ron, we get a "DAMN!" and then they hug.

If only Butch Reed was still alive.

I think that every day but since he was a Hobbs fan and considered him the new Hacksaw, it's actually fitting.

Today is the 8th year anniversary of Takeover Toronto and DIY and The Revival's 2 out of 3 falls masterpiece.

I was there live and it was the closest I've ever felt that wrestling was "real". I was going through some personal issues at the time having to move back in with my dad in my tiny hometown and start over completely as my job, relationship and apartment lease in Toronto all ended within a span of weeks but during that match, all I wanted was for Johnny Gargano to reach the ropes during that 3rd fall. In my opinion, the best tag team match to take place on North American soil.
