  1. An easy solution that will never happen is taking care of the corporate side and having final say but not being involved-involved like he is now. That way he can't be in competition with anyone.

Besides, I wouldn't be sweating someone booking ROH better if I were him personally. The audience is tiny by comparison to AEW. No one's seeing it. Sure this place is full of people who watch everything but you are super in the bubble to think ROH even crosses the mind of most AEW fans (besides appearances by their champions), let alone fans of other major promotions.

Now that CM Punk is back in WWE, what do you think will be the next thing to happen there that was previously thought to be impossible?

Vince dies before ever stepping into another courtroom. I know that isn't exactly surprising with his age but it'll be the next huge news story because then WWE is going to have to acknowledge it SOMEHOW. A lot more stories would come out too, bet.

EDIT: Not just tawdry stories of sexual abuse either, I'm talking other ways money may have been used/misappropriated without reporting like a proper public company is supposed to do. The biggest can of worms has yet to be opened, I feel. I may be no expert in traded companies' inner workings but it always felt like Vince until the last couple of years acted far more as an autocrat than chairman of a corporation.

Cavematch has Show wrestling seven matches in AEW since 2021.

Damn autocorrect, now I want to see a Cave Match.

I think the last time we saw Show at all was when he got slammed onto a car and vanished forever. Mark Henry's AEW legacy for me will be going "Wowwwww" during CM Punk's return.

Oh, I almost forgot! "IT'S TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT!" They should have been doing that on Dynamite since I never watch the other weekly shows on TV.

AEW has announced a partnership with Arlington TX's Esports Stadium to host the "Path to ALL IN Summer Series"

ROH Death Before Dishonor on July 26 and 5 episodes of Collision will take place there from July 20 to August 17

Well if they hadn't killed an area in a while, why not Texas.

You thought Kingston coming out all bloodied and trying to set Danielson on fire last time was crazy? Wait until FTR Hair comes out with a Glock and holds Matt Jackson at gunpoint.

Now I'm going to be disappointed in the build when this doesn't happen, dammit.

Agreed, that was really, really cool - good catch.

Even if stuff like this doesn't always necessarily work for everybody (like how @Sex Machine Gundidnt dig the crowd shot, or how personally, I could do without the return of overhead shots during matches) it's at least nice to see some experimentation to balance out some of the safer, more WWE-esque visual polish they've recently deployed.

Tangent: I can't take dry-hair PAC seriously - he looked like a yolked up Geezer Butler soliciting donations for a cat charity

I actually like it visually, have a bunch of people behind whoever's doing a promo. It'd be killer with buildings which were full to the rafters. Why not just do it in the ring then? I want Deeb to be a bigger deal than she's been too, shame I never saw the Collision promo.

Darryl Hall and John Oates for the soundtrack to this shitshow.  Can't go for that, indeed.

See I'd be off to the side somewhere at a table trying to groove to the song while I had my delicious pizza then look over at what the ruckus was, annoyed that the vibe was killed.

  8. That fucking crowd. I can't wait to wake up and watch Saturday morning wrestling at 9:30 local time. They were fuckin' NUCLEAR. No idea what the hell they were doing during the main event talking where suddenly everyone in the background was looking like France had just won the World Cup again but I'll take a hyped crowd 10/10 times unless it's a bunch of smarky neckbeards.

Two months away from one of AEW and NJPW's biggest shows, Forbidden Door. It'll be surreal seeing Kazuchika Okada representing AEW. We also have an AEW wrestler with the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in Jon Moxley. Do we get Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr here, All In or a different show? I'll guess we do here with Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness at All In. Be interesting to see the Forbidden Door line-up and who gets the limited singles matches on tap.

    Didn't we already get Danielson/Sabre?

  10. I think it'd be cool to have it in East Asia but would that ruffle too many feathers to have one in, say, Tokyo? You all know a lot more about the Japanese dynamics and stuff than me.

EDIT: Furthermore, did they announce next year's location during the show this year and I missed it? I know Minneapolis was heavily rumored but haven't seen anything since the rumor article.
