Redick left the same 5 in for the entire second half. That shit is going to get quintuple-guessed.
Oh, and, Hahahahahahah FUCK THE Lakers!
-
They missed at least one out of bounds call where Hart touched it last, too. But no challenges.

Yeah, I had a sensor issue on my previous car that made it fail emissions tests, so I had no choice but to fix it. Not as drastic as your fix, but it was $350 vs. the 60 I actually paid. And the repair was easier than most computer builds I've done. YouTube everything for an answer first is my approach.

Brunson comes back and the Knicks tie it. Pretty great close.
-
Brunson got injured (same ankle) again. Detroit has to make this count while they can. Beasley has hit a couple of big shots. But these playoffs are shaping up to say the most important ability is availability.

I don't watch this stuff anymore, but I heard the commercial bumpers enough times during NBA games that I recognized the Elton John reference, and didn't think it was anything but filler. But I just caught the intro, and actually using that song almost makes me want to watch.
Almost.

Literally the closest winning basket ever, maybe the closest one possible.

NFL GMs are probably a tad overvalued compared to the coaching/development, but in the case of Cleveland, I can buy the concept that a certain chunk of their problems involve really stupid people running the team
Maybe it secretly really is Kevin Costner.

Also, hahahaha, FUCK the Lakers.

Dort was very clearly slipping. If that's your idea of 'evidence', I know some folks who'd probably like to retain your services.
Jaden McDaniels is turning into an interesting player. Helps to have Ant out there to pull defenders away, but putting up 30 while guarding Luka all night is not nothing.

They should make Road Rash instead.
Road Rash is probably what she would have had from running away, if Jerry Bruckheimer's lecherous ass were still producing with Bay. Doesn't look like that's the case, though.

At this point, they're going to rename the Electric Slide after Shedeur.

I picked up Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 and it's pretty damn good so far. The story is very interesting and the combat rocks. The soundtrack is beautiful, too. Impressive work from a brand new developer
I'm interested to hear more about this game. I've not seriously played a turn-based RPG in...ugh, I dunno, 25 years? FF9 might have been my last? But since they're a small dev doing a game that's got a lot of good chatter so far, I wouldn't mind being talked into giving it a shot at some point (when I can afford to buy new games again, mostly).
I think it was the Gameranx Before You Buy, though, that mentioned it has parry-window bullshit in some of the boss fights, and you can probably guess how I feel about those. Are they actually necessary, or is it just one way of approaching??

Memphis showed up tonight. A lot of time left, but it looks like OKC could drop one, anyway, and that pace might be their only weakness. But Morant took a NASTY fall and who knows if he returns (to the game or the series), or if they can keep this up in the second half.
People tried to make a big deal about Zach Edey falling to Memphis after the draft, but GOD does he have hands of FUCKING STONE.
LOL, never mind.

Detroit citizens don't seem to like Jalen Brunson.

As much as an Oblivion interests me - if I am going back to Elder Scrolls, it is to finally finish Skyrim
Plus I am like 2/3rds of the way through Avowed. I really should get back to that
I would say that's ridiculous, but out of probably 20 separate Skyrim playthroughs, I probably only beat the game twice, and one of those was just to get all the achievements. It's the ultimate "wander off" game. And then when you do 'beat' what you're supposed to, you think, "That's it???"

Pat Spencer is, bafflingly, getting big minutes in the 2nd quarter over Moody or Payton (Butler and Podziemski are injured/sick), and he looks like a total rec leaguer compared to everyone else, but he has 9 points somehow. Total trash half for GSW and yet it isn't fully out of reach.

In that case, can we just put an "cannot be an asshole" clause into picking the voters? Maybe just sneak Andrew in?
If they want to pay me $50k a year to be a professional Oscar voter, I'll fucking do it gladly.

If you're a TLOU nerd, the upgrade has playable cut content with commentary from various people that worked on the game and that's pretty cool to play/hear stories about. The No Return mode is fun, it's a wave/"survive as long as you can" type thing that's also a roguelike (purely level/gameplay modifiers) where you play as a huge amount of characters. I think it also enhances the visuals to 4K, and the game already ran at a mostly smooth 60fps even on the PS4 (or playing the PS4 version on a PS5). Easiest $10 I ever spent, and one day I'll go back through the game to pick up what little trophies I have left to get. But that game is so emotionally draining that I don't have the energy for it right now. It's going to be hard enough getting through Season 2 of the show.
Mostly I want to see the controller change colors.
Only put it off this long because I wanted my credit card bill to flip over and because my controller seems to have some D-Pad drift that may require a disassembly. Meanwhile I'm trying to get a NG+ on Part 1 going where the infinite ammo cheat actually works. I guess I may have to try a custom difficulty setting because it didn't do anything on Survivor after foolishly trying it on Grounded.

Goga Bitadze just dropped a Bionic Elbow on Porzingis that busted him open hardway. Weirdly, Bitadze might have taken the worst of it by wrenching his shoulder.

Disappointed that this isn't Predator vs. Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek.
Terence Malick doing weird oil-droplet shots that are supposed to symbolize the Predator fertilization and incubation stage.
"Life. Born to die. Dying to live. All for what? A few scraps? A few trophies? A few skulls? "Do you realize how inefficient that is? Collect kneecaps," Pa said, "at least they're flat.""
(Of course all of this is completely obscured by the fact that it's in the Predator language and you can't understand that Klingon-in-a-garbage-disposal shit)

Biggest annoyance about the Pope dying, besides the overblown degree of wall-to-wall coverage, is that places keep mentioning 'camerlengos' and now I want to play Blood & Wine again...

Has anyone watched Lazarus? I saw it was a Shinichiro Watanabe joint, so I know the style to expect, and the blurb seemed compelling.
