Pretty sure I've mentioned this about Speedball in the TNA threads in the past but he presents completely as smug 80s movie antagonist to me but he's the ultimate flippy guy. I didn't buy into him as good guy until the Kenny King feud in TNA.

Aussie/Tormenta vs. Sweet Heat was fun. I can't think of why but I get Nasty Boys vibes from Sweet Heat.
Pep has a new name and new look apparently. With that said their combo finisher with the crucifix into splash was pretty sweet.
Penelope Pink slightly warming up to Holly while Lana came out with them but not Sweet Heat.
Santana vs. Paola was pretty good too!

Considering how they edited the Rosa run-in from Wednesday on Collison, there was a screw up somewhere.
JR popping in on something like Collision is bad since it's mostly secondary stuff that he's not paying attention to so it's like your really old grandad coming in and making weird out of place comments about stuff which just annoys you. IMO of course.
The locker room backstage set with the random storage lockers reminded me of those old WCW sets from the B shows.

Agree that Solo and Jacob aren't the same wrestler and aren't trying to be. Solo def has some silly energy to himself and I'd like to see that expanded more.
I really really like the touch in Priest's entrance when it's the flames on the tron and the camera is blurred and he comes out so you just see his figure. That's some cool shit!

So apparently bluegill are called bream too? Makes sense, I've had and caught plenty of bluegill and crappies over the years. Tasty, but a bit of work. Buffalo fish are probably up there in terms of work to tasty ratio too.

Same with always wanting more NXT folks but as far as the main weekly players, we're missing most of the D'Angelo family, Hank and Tank, most of the NQCC, Jazmyn Nix, Tyson and Tyriek, Izzy Dame. The creation feature helped bridge the gap, but with the PS5 version being separate from the PC version I'm curious to see how folks do with those models. I know from goofing around with my face it can be a pain to get that image to fit on a model.

I really liked the opener, Jevon/Page and the 3 way. The womens match was ok but I also was shocked at Roxanne taking the pin but I assume she's getting called up. Trick losing like that was also a bit of a shock but that could have been more about pacing and not expecting that to be the move since he's been using that Impaler DDT. With that said, I wonder if Eddie pulled up on the knee since the timing of Trick getting his leg out from under the strap could have thrown it off.
The Zaria/Sol segment means we're running back the "tag partners with totally different personalities" thing in NXT again. This has to be the 4th or 5th time they've run it (Dunne/Riddle, Iyo/Zoey, Cora/Roxanne, and Fraxiom kinda).
That mens scene is a little rough for NXT right now, Can we get Andre Chase back to himself soon?

"Wheeler Utah" is an amazing auto correct and I'm glad you didn't fix it. Ditto on Marina's presentation, hopefully Willow getting jumped by her last week will lead to something because it's lazy to have someone that's essentially unattackable.

There's plenty of time and nothing announced and as we've seen the AEW big event cycle go, it ramps up the closer to the event.

IMO about Mariah, they kept a lot of her stuff on Rampage and Collison I think to bring those viewers there, debatable if it worked or not. I also think she had a really bad, whatever the opposite of rouge's gallery is for a heel. She had Nyla right after she won the title, a few eliminators versus Queen Aminata and Lady Frost, the Yuka Sakazaki mini feud, the really good Anna Jay feud and ended in a pretty nasty hardcore match, the Mina feud which was ok, Thunder Rosa which escalated to a street fight kinda quickly and then back to Toni. Willow never circled back because she had the Statlander thing and Kris had her Mercedes matches and then has been trying to come back to the light I guess and has Bayne coming up. Hayter came back and had some revenge matches and lost in a 4 way for a #1 contender match and hasn't done much, Britt is not in the picture and Shida hasn't been on AEW TV since the week before Thanksgiving.
Looking at the non-primary ROH players, there's Kamille (what happened), Emi, Julia, Riho, and Tay who just came back last month. Yeah Mercedes needs to move up a division or something.

I was at the liquor store today getting a gift for a friend and a bottle of this really nice coconut rum (It's the Planterray Coconut Rum, they age actual coconuts in the barrels with the rum so it tastes like an almond joy but not as sweet) for me and I checked the price of Titos and New Amsterdam. Titos is $17 for a 750ml and New Amsterdam is $13 so a $4 difference. But this is Wisconsin.
As an aside, when I was in Sister Bay, WI last year around this time and checked out the grocery prices I had big sticker shock. Granted it's the tip of the "thumb" of the state so it's a drive to get there and it's a tourist area but everything was way more than here in Milwaukee and the alcohol prices were the big sticker shock. A 750 of Tullamore Dew was almost $40. It's enough to make you stay sober!

So the Saturday Night All Star stuff last year peaked at 5.4 million viewers but that finished with the Steph Curry vs. Sabrina Ionescu 3 point contest which was hyped up. This year they're finishing with the Slam Dunk contest which doesn't have a lot of buzz around it so who knows how big the lead in will be for AEW.
Was it a playoff game 2 years ago that AEW got as a lead in? I remember Twitter had a of jokes since AEW opened with Jericho and he was in a not as fit stage.

Sexy's summer tour problems seemed like a label/artist management issue. Like her management thought she was bigger than she is. They had big arenas picked out for the tour which is odd for fairly new artists (she's been a national act for maybe 3 years now). If her tour was a bunch of venues that were in the 1-3K range it would have gone better.
And 1000X yes they need to do something with Def Rebel. The fact that it's a punchline during promos isn't a good sign.

That might have been what nuked it. I know they've had fun runs inside there before during the winter so it might be ok but maybe not? I've only spent time inside the restaurant during the winter so I can't say how it is on the field.

I know there were local rumors about the city putting together a package for the 2024 Rumble at the baseball stadium, but I'd love to get another PPV here in Milwaukee. Pretty sure the last one was Fast Lane in 2017 where Goldberg beat Owens for the Universal title.

NO gives tons of tax breaks for events there. Plus it's not a bad way to spend a weekend. Can't stick around there too long though because that city can eat you alive. My last trip was a combo work/fun trip where I extended my stay by another 5 days and the pics I have in my phone from the last 2 nights are insane plus we spent our last day there just laying by our hotel pool and getting some fried chicken from the gas station because that's all we had the energy for.

They're doing it on TV. It's not like Stock was established on WWE TV under that nickname.
Didn't see anything about the Vaquer/Gulia match not being title for title, the recap on WWE.com still says it. Seems like booking yourself into a corner so I'm not sure why they bothered with it. We're for sure getting a run in or something. I think a double KO or time limit draw would be fun to see.
It's going to be interesting to see how they figure out the S&D card (I know we're getting a conclusion to Evans/Page and something with Tony D and his crew vs. Spears' crew) and I assume Fraxiom lose the tag titles), no one really comes across as "next up" aside from maybe the NQCC guys? I mean Saint's just got there but he's got some proverbial side quests to work on
But I really liked last night's show, wrestling was great and the other stuff was fun to watch.
