    Re: Kingston/Moxley-Kenny/Nakazawa

This awful segment topped last week’s show stinker.  So Kingston doesn’t want the sports entertainment horseshit so instead of wrestling Nak he turns the whole segment into exactly what he didn’t want?  Why on earth would Mox/King rather have a tag match with Nak/Omega than just flat out injure them?  I mean doesn’t Eddie owe Kenny a receipt?  And where are the Goods and the Bucks during all of this?

Ha, that ridiculous segment aside, great show as per usual.

They want to kick the shit out of Omega and, I assume, their plan is to kill Nakazawa and then take apart Omega. Plus, Kingston isn't in the rankings so maybe he's thinking that beating Omega in this tag match will get him there? I'm not saying it makes sense but it makes wrestling sense and that's enough. Wrestling sense also drove Cody Rhodes to lock in a submission on the top of a bus instead of throwing QT off to the concrete below but both things looked cool so it doesn't matter.

If they're really doing the match again, I think there's some real value in putting AJ over, especially after how they've protected him in the last year and with the impending move to Fox.

I'm with you. AJ  beats Lesnar, McIntyre comes away from the Rumble with the belt, somehow and we make the march toward Strowman's coronation. And we can do Bryan/Styles at Mania with 24 minutes freed up for the pair of them because HHH is too injured to take the longest match for himself.

  3.  Like, the opening few minutes of this is only worth seeing because it gets bogged down with Chyna but BASK in the incredible bumping styling of X-Pac as Henry just rag-dolls the dude into the ropes at 100mph before Waltman flies about 15 feet into the air off a press slam. And then Henry gets up huge for a double suplex and straight up plants Chyna with a powerslam. Do we move the "Mark Henry Became Good in 2003" goal posts even further back because he was awesome here.

  4. I like the note about "forced passion" and people being able to see through insincerity when that's basically the major problem with the current commentary. It all sounds like three guys reading from a sheet because their turn of phrase is so restricted. I did like the one about "titles don't change hands" That's a really impressive nit-pick. They should have spent this much time on their booking over the last 5 years instead.

  5. I'm guessing no one's going to read the topic and think it's Styles.

My friend saw this on Twitter and said "Oh, AJ is retired" and I genuinely thought he meant Styles. If she's going to have a cushy life with Punk, awesome, all the power to them.

  6. It's strange, Orton is a guy that's in a lot of great matches but he's very rarely that guy that makes them great.

I have a fondness for that ridiculous 60 minute match he and Cena had that involved these Memphis style brawls through the crowd with Orton trying to kill Cena via pyro. It escalated nicely across the hour

  7. i am genuinely impressed how much terrible logic people can find in the most self-defeating wrestling booking I may have ever seen. Everyone on this roster continues to be misused, over and over and continue to look worse and worse every week.

  8. Yeesh, first time watching this in months and it's, somehow, even more transparently haphazard than it was before. You come away from this show, completely confused as to what they're building, who they're pushing and why they're doing what they're doing. If NXT didn't have the same production style as the main shows, you could convince someone that it's a totally different company.
