Ugh. I recently became aware of her because I’m a mailman and I keep delivering envelopes with her face on them, begging the elderly to send money to help “protect women athletes” or some such nonsense.

I figured she must’ve lost to a trans woman to get her into this grift so I looked into it and they tied for SIXTH PLACE.

Riley Gaines is such a hateful pathetic grifter who wasn’t even close the best woman on her team. Fuck her and the career she’s making out of being a hateful piece of shit. I deal with enough of this trans panic crap daily I don’t need it coming into my fake figuring and yet here we are

(Note for those who don’t know: I’m trans af)

  2. Younger Barry was the most insufferable character in recent memory. The flash’s first solo moving being a version of Flashpoint is such a leap and missing 2-3 movies of character development it’s wild. I knew what this was going to be going in, and I was still surprised at how little central city there was how the only supporting character was Iris for all of five minutes and 0 established flash villains

For a series finale that was originally supposed to be a season finale, I thought they did a great job of bringing things to a satisfactory conclusion, while also leaving things open *just* enough, just in case it gets picked up elsewhere.

I wish things would have worked out differently with the CW and the Arrowverse, just so we could have gotten Stargirl involved with the crossovers.

Courtney would’ve fit so perfectly into Barry and Karas friendship. it would’ve been wonderful

  4. I assume the CGI will be improved by August, but they did need to get something out there. I'm pretty excited for some of the whackier elements this seems to be embracing...and yes, while not officially confirmed...Frog-Man is here

  5. Spoiler

The Illuminati getting wasted by Wanda was effective in showing her power level and how lightly they were taking her as a threat; also MCU 616 strange may now be inspired to bring together his own version down the line. If Krasinski was a one and done I'm okay with it and that's fun as a nod the fan who have wanted it, it may be better to lock down a lesser known actor because you ideally want Reed in the MCU for the next decade plus

I would have howled if Wanda said "no more mutants" after offing Professor X

However, I do wish there had been a way to keep this version alive and bring him back as a the MCU version of The Maker.

The only death that really gutted me to see was Captain Carter because Hayley is just so amazing, and seeing her do the Cap line in live action while facing the kinda of impossible foes that Steve did got me in the feels

Incursions, we're 100000% getting secret wars, but I hope it's not til "Avengers" 7, you have to have Doom established. Also I'll call them twisting the story a bit and Wanda's redemption will be fixing the Universe at the end. She's gonna need a huge comeback (and she's not gonna be left buried under a mountain lol)

thought strange got more of an arc that I expected. they did a nice job of hitting home that people are still questioning him over the decisions he made during Infinity War, and he's probably still wrestling with that guilt too

Elisabeth Olsen was amazing, I wouldn't have imagined what a major role Scarlet Witch would have back in Age of Ultron. She's elevated this so much

I think I saw someone on YT post this: but gosh, I hope young Franklin doesn't find out who murdered his dad...that kids kinda powerful...interested if we ever see the fall out on that Earth from what Wanda did. It'll probably go to shit and be overtaken by the Ultron bots (which were created by....who?)

I'm just rambling I loved that movie so much, maybe the Raimi feel of it all isn't for everyone but it really a spooky breath of fresh air and I think he fit this story perfectly.

I'm not seeing a lot of talks bout Clea just popping up in the mid credits but hey, that was a deal! Dark Dimensions! what is going ooooon

  6. I enjoyed it a lot, especially Issacs and Hawke. Nice to have the antagonist in the open right away for once, unless there's more (probably is) Khonshu design is creepy as heck so that fits. The only big downside for me was the music choices and comedy bits during the car chance, pulled me out of the moment more than once.

I'm not bothered by the changes made to Steven's persona, but I fear Marvel worries about having any rich playboy type being compared to Stark. I'm also wondering if Marc is really the main personality, and Steven's there to keep him okay between the violence, both as a mercenary before and now Moon Knight.

  7. Yeah it really felt like there were episodes missing, otherwise this was one episode that felt very close to the Marvel third act formula. Would have loved more character work especially T’Challa and Kilmonger meeting but they had one bit of dialogue.

I thought for sure the mid credits scene was going to reveal a winter soldier version of Steve, but a happy ending is nice too.

if Strange supreme is in Multiverse of Madness I wonder if we’ll get to see the Zola/Kilmonger prison

overall a really fun season with more hits than misses

  8. agreed, this version of Loki kept thinking he found purpose, and getting the rug pulled out from under him, again and again. I assume more comic accurate personalities are coming, but as someone who has to go back and do more reading, this was a good intro to the least harmful Kang, and it's just gonna build

Assuming the Kang that Scott Lang and Hope meet is one that's been trapped in the quantum realm for ages, maybe since Janet got stuck there? Going to be really really interesting

Getting Doom right is gonna take ages so I'm glad they're not rushing or hitting it, you have to setup the Fantastic Four, and getting the multiverse in place now gives Doom an eventual goal, b/c I'm guessing somewhere in third saga they'll do secret war, and probably pull from the 2015 version and give us God Emperor Doom (which is a good place too end off Strange if the time has come for that)as the ultimate bad

Given the complicated nature of Kang in the comics, with so many different versions of him coming from so many different times, I thought the way they introduced him was pretty brilliant, with another version of him who explained/foreshadowed relatively simply how there were many different variants of himself competing for supremacy. It’s different from introducing an evil character and then confusing people by saying, “No, this is a different version.”  I think What If? will also help ease the more casual viewers into the idea of the multiverse, time travel, and variants.

I'm hoping at least one of those episodes has an animated Kang. But I also hope What If..gives us an idea how the Thanos Copter ended up in the void

  10. convinced now the Kang in Ant Man 3 still won't the biggest of the big bad, otherwise, Scott Lang is fucked. This was a great season one finale, and while there is a good argument to be made that they spent a lot of time setting up the movies, what really brought it home for me was Loki's last scene back at the TVA; it's changed, Mobius doesn't know who he is anymore, Kang is the sole ruler, that was all great season one cliffhanger stuff, not really sure if we'll touch on the TVA parts of it int he movies.

Jonathan Majors pulled off a pretty amazing feet, introduce yourself totally fresh, set up other versions of yourself, explain universes worth of back story, and be entertaining while doing so. Home run performance, I can't wait to see every version of Kang

  11. what a fantastic episode, just had a smile on face the entire time; as for who the end big bad is, the ultimate evil Loki who got everything our Loki wanted makes narrative sense, but they've dropped enough Kang references to make me question....I'm going on a limb that Kang in the MCU IS a version of Loki who at some point gained the power to do all this, played by Jonathan Majors

  12. I know Sonya having to deal with the break in may have put a sudden halt on their program, but, when did they give up so hard on Mandy? Do they just see her as Dana #2 now? How does that happen, she seems so much their type, and yet Lana is still harder pushed, and that's WITH Miro in AEW, so odd.

Mandy playing a video of her and Sonya made me miss them together ?

Braun needs to call Nicholas for tips on dealing with bullies who call people "stupid" and use slime as their main weapon.

I'd be all for Charlotte ruining Alexa if it meant Ric visits the Funhouse and starts chopping and dropping elbows on puppets while making out with Abby the Witch

I definitely don't expect a season 2 since this episode's title was literally "Series Finale" lol.

Overall I really enjoyed it. I think I would have preferred to binge it all at once. Fans going crazy with theories that didn't happen took my enjoyment down a notch. Fox Quicksilver showing up seemed like a big deal at the end of that episode. But for now it's just a cute wink. Could mean more in the long run, but odds are 50/50 at best.

I'm all in on Scarlet Witch as a character now tho. Wanda & Pietro always felt a little less than in the MCU because they were essentially people as opposed to larger than life characters. But now I really dig the look she has, and her being setup as the heel / tweener / someone stirring the pot to tangle with Doctor Strange. Doctor Strange 2 should be subtitles Good Friends, Better enemies. Then Wanda could rip an old man's leg off and hit Doctor Strange with it.

And the leg belongs to Forge and that’s how the X-men begin in the MCU
